Very nice Hotel. If I ever visited Utrecht again, I would stay here again. 100% The location is great, if you want to explore Utrecht on foot and bike. Super nice Staff, and the "breakfast in bed"-Option is so convenient and an absolute banger. All in all a very user-friendly hotel. One caveat - the walls are pretty thin. My neighbours on that particular weekend were very considerate though and I slept like a baby. My tip would be to try and get a room on the top floors (I think they are colour coded with white being at the very bottom), so that you don't have someone walking on top of you and probably don't hear toilets flushing at night.

One of the best hotels I have ever been to - and that were quite a lot. Wonderful room, modern but cosy equipped and a lot of little things that Mother goose makes very, very good (the big things are in perfect order anyway). Perfect bed, perfect shower, coffee, tee and water are included - you get all that you need. And last but not least the very friendly and personal service. It won't be my last stay at Mother Goose!

Amazing spot to walk to everything, the room was so spacious and private with a beautiful view - opt for the bath! And the staff was wonderful. We were celebrating my husbands birthday and it was a treat for us. I also had to host an online zoom meeting, and the room and wi-fi were wonderful They don't have a bar in the hotel, but be sure to go through the coat closet to the bar next door - lovely food and beverage.

A wonderful boutique hotel in Utrecht! The staff is so helpful and friendly. They made our stay at Mother Goose even better. We took the train from Amsterdam’s airport to Utrecht Centraal train station. When you arrive at Utrecht Centraal, you exit the station and then across the courtyard is a mall. Walk through the main entrance of the mall, take the escalator in the mall down, and then go outside and you are then close to the old city of Utrecht. Look for the Dom Tower and walk towards it. When you Google map the directions, one way is through the mall which seems odd, but it is exactly right. The room at Mother Goose was very cute industrial with a very comfortable bed and a great rain shower. We really enjoyed staying there because it was right in the center of the old city and close to Dom Tower. There is a little grocery store close by. The staff recommended a great Italian restaurant, San Siro, close by and a fun restaurant, The Street Food Club, near by. Highly recommend both of these restaurants! Also, we highly recommend the free Utrecht tour by a local and the Windmill Bicycle Tour in Utrecht. We were so happy we decided to stay in Utrecht instead of Amsterdam! We still took a day trip into Amsterdam because it is so easy to take the train for the day.

Mother Goose is such a nice hotel in the middle of Utrecht. Everything is easily reachable within few minutes. It was not my first stay in this hotel but I wanted to enjoy again the great atmosphere and the individually decorated rooms. The staff is very helpful and always shoes a mood. Although the parking which is related to the hotel was full, other parking spots can be found in a short walking distance. You can drive up to the hotel and leave the luggage before finding the parking.

Beautiful and cozy, perfect location and super friendly staff. Bed was comfortable and the view from my room was wonderful. I like their environmental policy and overall friendly athmosphere like the fridge in the lobby where you can keep your stuff instead of a fridge in every room. Will stay here again for sure.

Sweet little hotel with attentive staff. The building and rooms had lots of charm and were well decorated. There is a lift if you don’t want to climb the Dutch stairs. ||We had a room overlooking the square and church. It has a great location to make it walkable to lots of bars, restaurants and sights; we did use white noise at night because the square was hopping till 2 AM. ||A few minor inconveniences: so eco-friendly that there were no issues in the room and products like the tea were not very palatable. A larger issue was a very open bathroom concept with a tiny WC that you could barely move around in. If you don’t need much privacy the bath area won’t bother you. ||Overall, a nice hotel for a short stay.

The friendliest team welcomes you to this charming and inviting boutique hotel. The room was gorgeous, toiletries amazing, hospitality second to none. The view was spectacular and, although right above all the buzzy terraces on the square below, pretty sound-proof! Earplugs are available for the sensitive sleeper. The breakfast in bed option was charming. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Recently name dropped Mother Goose in a review then realized I haven't even given them the proper 5 stars they deserve. So allow me to do exactly that while taking a trip down memory lane: The year was 1906... Just kidding, it was three-four years ago and my wife (then fiancee) and I were traveling through the Netherlands to Germany (Cologne), then to Belgium (Bruges), and back to Amsterdam. Our first stop after Haarlem was Utrecht, a town I had long wanted to visit since seeing photos, and we decided to 'splurge' on a nicer hotel. Mother Goose. A 4 star hotel. But it really is so much more than that. The rooms are carefully designed, each different than the other, super boutique vibes, and in a central location. We stayed two nights in the upstairs 'black room.' Not the hugest room ever but still spacious, open layout, high ceilings, wooden beams painted black, comfy bed with dark sheets, and a modern sink/bathroom area. Plus good views of the city. The darkness of the room added a cooler, more cozy element that we really appreciated. Everything was done tastefully and in a stylish way. This was our favorite hotel stay ever, and has remained that even to this day. Can't wait to go back, stay in Mother Goose again, and explore the city some more (frites in hand, of course).

Yelp
We stayed here two nights in June - and our experience was just fantastic. The staff there is extraordinarily friendly, service-oriented, and helpful. Check-in was a breeze (we did it online just before arriving). They had some cancellations, and so, upgraded us to a suite (room 303). The room itself was spacious, and well-appointed, clean and comfy. The little elevator is also fun - small, but with glass sides, and a view of the outside of the building as you rise. Breakfast is across the plaza at the little cafe. The location is very central - close to the lively scene along the canals, and to other sights in Utrecht. And, though our room looked out over the little plaza, it was very quiet in the evenings. This place is highly recommended!

Yelp
This place deserves 5 stars for its beautiful and well thought design. The rooms/floors are designed by color theme (gray, brown, white, and black). This does not have the feel of a hotel at all - little details including swings, feather pens, rosary beads, bath salts, stand alone full length mirrors, and other thoughtful design elements are inspired and inspiring. I stayed in the Black Suite, which has a beautiful view of the tower. The main drawback to this hotel is that it is in the middle of a very noisy square that is filled with people at night, and from which the trash is collected for over an hour in an incredibly loud way each morning around 8am. If you want to sleep with the windows open, you are going to need some serious ear plugs. There were also only two bed pillows, and one decorative pillow in this two person room, so I had to request more, which they happily and rapidly brought. It is well located for wandering around the city, and has many restaurants and bars within a stones throw. I'd recommend to anyone who isn't a light sleeper - it is among the best designed boutique hotels I have visited around the world.
