Moti Magri, also known as Pearl Hill, is one of the most serene and culturally rich attractions in Udaipur. Located on a hill overlooking the beautiful Fateh Sagar Lake, it is a place where history, nature, and peace come together. The most striking feature of Moti Magri is the grand statue of Maharana Pratap riding his loyal horse, Chetak. The statue is massive, majestic, and surrounded by several other sculptures that depict the valor and legacy of the Rajput warriors. Walking through the area feels like stepping into a space where history silently speaks through art and stone.
The surroundings are equally captivating. The site is filled with lush greenery, tall trees, and well-maintained gardens, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely morning or evening walk. The calmness here gives a refreshing break from the busy city life of Udaipur. Families, couples, and solo visitors often enjoy sitting under the trees or strolling along the pathways, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. From the top, you also get panoramic views of Fateh Sagar Lake and the city, which is especially beautiful during sunset.
Except for the ₹60 entry fee, which some may find slightly high for a short visit, everything else about Moti Magri is highly enjoyable. It’s a place where you can connect with history, enjoy nature, and spend some quiet, reflective moments.
