Moti Mahal - Greater Kailash part 1

Poor quality of container (for Take Out) for gravy items. Its made of paper and it is very thin. Almost spilled it. Butter chicken, mutton seekh are well cooked, dal was awful. Roti not good. They burnt the roti twice and then the waiter made a rude gesture. Moti Mahal gk1 is not what it is used to be.

My last pit stop in Delhi was Moti mahal Just got a chance to try the kababs and it was mind blowing Melt in the mouth consistency 😋 I will surely be back to try the butter chicken next time 👍

I have been coming to this restaurant since my childhood. Earlier it used to be in the ground floor, but now it has shifted to the top floor. The chefs and staff might have changed, but the food stays the same. Absolute Comfort food and the hospitality we always get is so friendly. It gives the feeling of home, and once a month my entire family comes here atleast. If you don’t come here, you are for sure missing out.

The ambiance here is very good and seats are very comfortable. The service here was excellent and the best you can get for the money. The food was also very good and delicious. The iconic Moti Mahal with the long contested claim of the original Butter Chicken. It was our first time visiting this place and this place does not disappoint! Yes there are many good butter chicken across Delhi but this one takes the mark for the tanginess and the subtle sweetness that's the hallmark for a proper butter chicken. It's not too heavy in cream. The seating is low so it is a bit difficult to be properly comfortable but that disappears when the food is that good. The servers and hosts are friendly and it looks like a place with more tourists than locals. Parking is a problem since this is quite a busy chaotic street.

Sorry, but we were very disappointed with the dal makhni (stale), paneer tikka (served was cold) and top it all the chicken pakora was a big disappointment! Will I ever go again there? Have heard a lot about it but No, I won’t visit again! Will I ever recommend it to any of my family or friends - NO!

Great ambiance and food . Hospitality was also very nice. Great place for family and friends. Must try their Kesar Phirni.

The food was really great. We tried the Murgh Curry and Pindi Chana Masala, and it was delicious. The ambience is good and definitely a great place to dine. It's my favourite, go to place for mughlai cuisine. At times, there's waiting over the weekend but they definitely accomodate you for the soulful food within time. Best butter chicken and chicken pakora in the world Nd inventers also name of the restaurant is moti mahal gk 1 this restaurant is since 1920s Had a great experience at Moti Mahal , GK- 1 The Dal Makhani were rich and full of flavor, Lovely ambiance, quick service, and top-notch North Indian food. Definitely coming back
