Motorcar Museum of Japan

Amazingly varied collection. Probably too varied. Could be better curated to offer a better layout, less clutter, and (interesting) descriptions in English as well as Japanese. I’m surprised how many English cars especially there were rather than more focus on the Japanese greats. Worth it for any car enthusiast! Or urinal enthusiast;)

Crazy nice motor museum for car enthusiasts or not alike. Offering a wide variety of hapanese and european old cars which were beautiful. Cars are maintained really well However descriptions were in japanese, although its something google translate can fix haha

What an exceptional find! We had just come from the Komatsu no mori and just randomly found this museum with more than 500 cars from all shapes, sizes, models, eras... My husband is a car guy and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Although, I didn't see a Mustang II in there so I question the legitimacy... 🤣. I kid. It was awesome. Even the toilets were vintage!

They have one of the greatest collection of antique automobiles in Japan! It took me a long time to walk through them all. An interesting trivia is their toilet. It has toilet from all over the world, too!

We had a fantastic time seeing all the various cars and trucks. We went about two hours before closing, and were able to see the whole place, but would have liked to have spent a little more time there. A wide range of vehicles from around the world with the majority from Japan. We really appreciated the “common” cars that would have otherwise been forgotten by time.

Very interesting collection of cars Beautiful architecture 2x 2000GTs and a 300SL Gullwing were a surprise A Jza80 Rz and a R34 GTR would finish off the collection nicely though

There are many car brands and models here, especially classic ones that look beautiful and unique. However, it might be better if the display were more visually appealing. Since the place has three floors, simply lining up the cars by brand makes it look a bit old and dusty — which is a missed opportunity. Ticket costs 1,200 jpy

We went on a weekday. It was not too crowded. The restaurant was closed when we visited. The place was spacious and it was really filled with cars. Car enthusiast will definitely enjoy this place. The Doraemon & panda car was so cute! Enjoyed looking around.
