TORONTO CITY GUIDE

"Motorino Città [chee·taa], “city” in English, features a state of the art open concept kitchen that is visible from every angle, a spacious patio in the heart of downtown Toronto, a private dining space where you can enjoy a glass of wine in good company while observing the artistic practice of your very own pizza being made, and much more."

Exceptional pizzas and great owner. You can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu; the octopus is well cooked, the rice balls are great and the olives were tastefully delivered. Bread service is exceptional with very nice olive oil. Highly recommended for dine in; well lit and wide open dining space.

Great food and great experience. I think this this is my new favorite calamari spot. I wish they had shrimp calamari on its own on their menu cause it was amazing. The lamb chops were delicious loved the char flavor and also lived the hot sauce they served with it. The chicken parm could be shared for 2, it was huge! Will come back! The Staff was super friendly and made great recommendations

🦋 We’ve always walked by this place and have never gone in. This time, we reserved a table for brunch and were excited for the bottomless mimosas. Out front is a large patio that leads to the entrance. Once we opened the door, the décor is modern and coloured black and red. It actually looks nice and cool inside and definitely a beautiful look. The hostess checked us in and brought us to our table. She was friendly and helpful. The menu had specific items available for brunch and the nice part about it was there weren’t too many selections. For us, when a menu is packed with options we get confused and lose sight of the restaurant’s specialty. We got the corned beef hash and avocado toast which were both good except we didn’t realize that corned beef is not really our thing - always great to try new things 😉. The avocado toast was good and definitely bigger than what we thought having a few things on the toast. Also, you have to like pesto to eat this. The bottomless mimosas were delicious and definitely a great idea if you want to feel tipsy or have a pre drink before going to the Jays game on Sunday. All in all, we were happy that we decided to try the brunch there. We loved the look of the inside and also want to give a shout-out to the chef - Artem - who had an integral part in the development of the current menu. This is our experience. What’s yours? 🦋

I was there for a private networking event (a brunch), so it was perfect for the occasion. The food was absolutely delicious m, the staff was clearly stressed out (I can understand, we were so many people to serve), but very polite. I had the pancakes and the breakfast pizza without the meat (I returned the one served with meat and they accepted to bring me a new one without meat) The decor is a matter of taste, just not mine, the location is not ideal either, feels like the side of the highway, but it’s close to downtown. No bike rack in front of the place, you’ll have to walk a little. They don’t sell any desserts, at least not during that brunch. There’s no hot chocolate either. Either tea or coffee. The washrooms are accessible and very clean.

One of my closest friends since childhood and I had been looking to see each other for many weeks, and she had suggested we go to Motorino. I'd never been here before, but immediately after walking in the energy in this restaurant was so refreshing. There is great scenery, a good view, some of the most friendly staff you will meet, and most importantly, delicious food. We ordered the Tuscan fries, Italian spring rolls, and a pizza which were all made to order, and to perfection. I've eaten at many wonderful restaurants, but this was truly the perfect place to reconnect with someone whom I have missed dearly. If you're looking for good food, and good memories, Motorino (citta) is just for you. MUCH LOVE

It was ok. Service was meh. The carpaccio was dry and disappointing. I liked the olives and mushroom salad was okay. But the server told me the bottles of wine were half off and noticed when I got home they charged me full price. Very strange. Not sure if I misunderstood. But just be wary.

Delicious. Delicious. Delicious! Nice Italian restaurant with great cozy decor. We are a group of three and was very pleasantly impressed by the food and an authentic Italian experience. Their pizza melts in your month lol it’s that good! Must try when You are at the distillery area.
