Motu Indian Kitchen

Been here twice now, and the food is absolutely incredible! Really unique fusion and variations of Indian dishes. Using a pita as a taco shell works brilliantly, and the flavors are spot on. My favorite so far has been the sweet & spicy taco, perfect amount of heat for me, but everything has been delicious. They don't have a huge space, so it's more intended for takeout, but they have some small tables if you want to eat there. They also have digital ordering kiosks so don't be offended if no one comes out to take your order. My interactions with the staff have been very positive even though it's not entirely necessary.

Just amazing all around. Lamb samosas are a must try, especially if you've primarily had potato samosa. The lamb samosas are fried to a perfect crisp, flavorful, and exactly the right amount of spice. We had the Butter Chicken TACOS and I gotta say I had no idea that was a thing and they were full of flavor, big, and out of this world with taste. I want to try everything on the menu!

The food is delicious! My mom and I came here and neither of us are super familiar with Indian cuisine. The staff was super helpful and the food was ready quickly! We had leftovers but still decided to order extra to share with family at home!

I first experienced Motu on my birthday last year. I wanted to take myself on a solo date before the festivities began. I order the masala mac n cheese, chicken wings, & a butter chicken taco. My eyes brightened at the first bite of the mac. The flavors were like nothing I’ve ever tasted before. I love a good classic mac but this blew me out the waters. After finishing the delicious, crispy, perfectly seasoned chicken wings, my hunger was definitely satisfied but I wasn’t done yet. I remember thinking, this might be a lil expensive for a single taco.. but was pleasantly surprised, it was way larger than expected. I also remember thinking.. now this is my kind of taco lol! Because I love Motu, I brought my big sister & aunt to their Mother’s Day brunch. A 6 course meal tasting experience. They provided fresh pressed juices & house made everything. When I tell you every single dish had an explosion of flavor on my taste buds, I felt like I was Remy in ratatouille. Watching my sister and aunt’s expression for every first bite was just as great as the food. It was their first time there & you could see how impressed and satisfied they were with every bite. We left with a box of treats, smiles on our faces, & full bellies. All the mothers left with a vase of flowers which I thought was so thoughtful. Motu provided the ultimate brunch experience. Yesterday was my second time here, and once again, they did not disappoint! The food tastes just as amazing as the first time, and the portion sizes are consistent—which I truly appreciate. Everything was so good, it felt like I was experiencing it all for the first time again. I ordered the butter chicken taco with all the free toppings, a chicken masala bowl (also fully loaded), and topped it off with a Biscoff milkshake. Goodness gracious, that shake was pure gold! The place is always spotless and well-organized, and I love the restaurant’s aesthetic—it’s warm and welcoming. Oh, and fun fact: a lady told me the place is run by three brothers. I thought that was super amazing—and apparently, they’re single, so… shoot your shot ladies! 😄 Keep up the great work! Sorry I ate everything before I took a Pic lol

Amazing food and flavors! Prices are comparable with the market, portions are a great size, fabulous service, and adding Motu to my list of go to restaurants

I stumbled in here on a work trip this evening and am SO glad I did! My paneer masala and garlic naan were great! The medium salsa was recommended for a little heat and was perfect! Delicious! Saving it my maps so I remember to come back when I’m in town for work. My only recommendation to mgmt: maybe have a few pieces of paper out which explain what some of the terms mean for those of us who are new to Indian food? Staff was SO helpful and answered my questions tonight but can’t imagine they have time for that when it’s busy!

I work in East Longmeadow and I drive past Motu all the time, I finally was able to go today on my lunch break and I got the butter chicken taco and the rose lemonade…and I think that was the best food I’ve have in a long time. The one singular taco was STUFFED and it was so filling and the flavor was out of this world, and paired with the sweet and tart lemonade with just a hint of rose was sublime. I will definitely be back

The food was really good. We sampled a few things from the menu and everything is flavorful and filling. I love the sweet and spicy tacos and the butter chicken tacos. The sauces that came with the lamb samosas were delicious. We ordered wings and they didn't have they and were more than willing to substitute another appetizer great service.

Stopped here for a quick lunch on the way to Six Flags. Huge portions for the price, and everything we tried was delicious. I definitely recommend the paneer masala wrap, and my kids raved about the fried Oreos.

Absolutely YES!!! Here from Cali... I love me some Indian food! We ordered the paneer masala wrap, crispy chicken masala wrap, samosas, paneer eggrolls & butter chicken tacos (don't judge) I wanted to try it all! I can't tell you what my favorite was cause it was all 10/10. Then you throw in their awesome service... they were attentive and all with a smile! This will be a must stop when we're back in Massachusetts!!!

Delicious flavors all around. Order a combo of curried chick peas with Naan also on the side and Tamarind Chutney... so good! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is very cute and has nooks to eat or wait at for your take out order as well as tables. There is a small section to order your meals k kiss as well. While waiting you can enjoy the small trinkets and decor they have.

10/10 so flavorful and fresh. The butter chicken taco is the most perfect fusion of dishes. I can't wait to try more things. I drive across the bridge from agawam to go here. Extremely unique, high recommend.

I'm so so picky about Indian food, having lived with an Indian Aunty for many years - and having been to the amazing Indian restaurants in Central MA, Montreal, New Jersey, and other notable local-ish hubs of Indian Cuisine. These guys are killing it. I'm not kidding, every time we go there I'm practically drooling when I get my food. Everything has been either 1) EXACTLY how I like my restaurant food to taste or 2) tasting like it has a whisper of auntiji involved in the cooking process. Their achar is bomb- I can tell they're making it themselves. Papri Chaat is how I like it, same for Samosa and pani puri. I love the street food. I only wish it was closer to me so that I could eat there every week. The restaurant is cute and cozy - I predict at some point they're going to need more chairs.

Food was marvelous!! Today I got the Paneer Masala rice bowl. With desi salad and a side of paneer cubes. There's usually plenty of masala sauce, so I've taken to getting extra paneer to add.

I came here yesterday and the butter chicken was phenomenal. The garlic naan was amazing as well. I also wanted to try coconut on and it is like a dessert on and it's very good. It kind of reminded me of a crêpe with like a coconut sauce on it, but it had coconut flakes in it all in all I would recommend this place. Everything was very, very good.

The food is absolutely amazing and I love the American twist on delicious Indian food. The Butter chicken is wonderful and the flavors are magical. Ordering is so easy and the staff are helpful when ordering as well. The vibe was so enjoyable and I loved everything about this spot.

Orders takeout easy to do online got the butter chicken tacos. So good I usually get chicken tiki Marsala when I do Indian food but this was a nice change. When I went to pick up my food it was ready cashier was nice. Restaurant was clean

The lamb curry bowl had a generous portion and the lamb was tender. Curry was delicious with the rice. Their mango lassi is a must buy. Right amount of sweetness and it's so smooth.

First time trying MOTU after awaiting months for its opening. Thinking of a way to describe it perhaps "new age street cuisine meets Indian" absolutely loved the different menu choices and the build your own bowls ! I am a fan of their sister Punjabi tadka in downtown springfield and I highly recommended everyone go to MOTU as well !

ordered on doordash, my brother and i got the samosas, butter chicken tacos and mango lassi. overall this lacked any real flavor. the samosas were nicely fried but i prefer chunks of potatoes rather than their puree. i liked the toppings on the butter chicken taco but the actual sauce of the chicken was bland, no spice. we ordered the garlic cheese naan and it tasted like the regular. and the mango lassi is just your avg mango lassi.

Dinner was delicious. The egg rolls blow me away. The tacos are large so they're very filling. I asked for them fully loaded and spicy and they delivered. The spiked rose lemonade was so refreshing, Jayza did an amazing job! I was told the spiked mango lassi is really good I'll need to try it next time

Tonight was the second time I've ordered takeout from MOTU. Like the last time, I ordered the Chicken Tika Masala combination plate w/garlic naan. To sum it up: Delicious. Just the right balance of spices and a generous portion for the price. To me the true test of a restaurant is whether or not I would return, and this my second time there without any disappointments. I'll be eating at MOTU again, soon!

Omggg wish I stopped here well before I finally did! This place is beautiful inside and out, the owners amazing and the food, the food was incredible!!!! We got the #3 butter chicken tacos and a side veg samosa and the # 2 Paneer Masala wrap with a side of Mac and cheese which is Not your original plain Mac and cheese it has its own twist! So so good highly recommended. Cannot wait to go back! Wish I took pics but it was so good we devoured it fast!

Different, but good. Fusion of Indian and Mexican food. Tacos on naan is the best. I've been doing this for years.

Fast, delicious, and casual, this little restaurant takes orders online through their website rather than telephone. Excellent food, nice workers, and quick friendly service. This will be my go to for Indian food from now on. Same family as Panjabi Tadka in Springfield, with a limited, faster selection. They just opened last week, and I surely hope they will stick around. Try it, you'll love the food and people.

I love this place. Food was very good. Chicken tacos are so unique. Lots of flavor. The place was clean. The staff was nice. The onion chutney was amazing. The only complaint for us was the way you have to order your meal. I prefer the customer's appreciated service.I definitely will try it again.

We took takeout but everything we got was amazing Love that fusion Indian food is coming near us. We tried cholu bhature, masala Mac and cheese, chicken bowl and I honestly can't find a single flaw. Keep up the good work folks

The food was just barely ok. The service to me was uncaring. We went on the evening after a snowstorm and the parking lot was plowed, but it was as slippery as a skating rink. They have a ramp to go inside ad that was icy too. I guess it's "who cares if someone falls". I wont be back

We had the lamb curry taco & chicken masala taco. Both were great. We ordered a chicken curry bowl to go for lunch tomorrow. The flavors were spit on. Service was great. We will be back on the regular to support this business.

So good!! We just moved to the area and decided to order delivery from Motu for the first time. Omg! It travelled so well, really delicious. Ordered 2 tacos, wings, samosas. All perfect.

Butter chicken tacos are awesome. I get them without lettuce bc using DoorDash, by the time it travels it wilts a lot. And add some hot chili peppers!

Good food, good service & generous portions! Tried their paneer roll, chicken tacos and samosa chat - everything was great! It's primarily a take-out spot but they do have seating to eat-in. It's dangerously close me so I will definitely be going often.

We came in here to stop for food before a trip and it was amazing. Nice and clean inside, easy to order on the touch screens, and the food came out in no time. We had the Mac and cheese masala and the paneer wrap and they were both generous portions and overall delicious. And the mango lassi was the perfect level of creamy. Don't pass this place up!

This place is just great. Had the Butter chicken tacos and chili paneer egg roll, and they were amazing. The menu is super interesting and the moment you walk in you're just hit with the smell of delicious. Guys at the counter were super friendly and helpful.

Food was good and the restaurant has a few nice tables. It is mostly set up for takeout. No menus. Order off a screen. Cannot see the full menu as you have to view different screens. The owners are there to help with ordering on the screen. Also, no phone so you have to order on line. The business model is different than most restaurants. It will take awhile to learn the technology.

Very good! It's more of a casual take out spot than "traditional" but it's really good. The chicken masala "tacos" are amazing, wrapped in naan. Cute place, good food, good prices. It's cute inside as well, with some seating.

A welcome edition to E. Longmeadow. Fresh delicious indian food with a modern twist. The naan pizza was amazing. The chicken makhni tacos were outta this world. The savory masala chicken wings were phenomenal.. Service was super friendly and attentive. Apple(Motu)deff didnt fall far the awesome tree(Punjabi Tadka)

I ordered the lamb curry taco, and my husband had the double butter chicken tacos with a lemonade. I can not complain. It was very tasty, unique take on Indian food. I highly recommend. The bill came to $28 and you can't eat at fast food joints for that kind of money. The people inside were affable too.

MOTU is one of my favorites. Outstanding menu, options and the food is freshly prepared to order. It's a convenient takeout spot or place to grab a quick bite or drink with someone. The service is friendly, fast and accurate. Do yourself a favor and check it out!
