A really interesting, weird and unique museum! It's definitely worth a visit if you're not grossed out by injuries and diseases. However, all the descriptions are in German - I really really wish there was an English translation, it's hard to translate everything via Google lens :(

A visual view to medicine history. Very interesting

Go off the beaten path and discover a slightly different side of Zurich, which this museum greatly represents. Located conveniently just 40m away from a Haldenbach tram stop, this place is a home to hundreds of life-like replicas, demonstrating the effects of various conditions an diseases on human skin and organs, from pest and smallpox to HIV. Some exhibits are not for the faint of the heart! Information is only in German though.

Highly organized and informative museum that is very interesting. The way they present all the diseases using wax is fascinating and all the info is in English as a preference. It closes at 1700 so make sure to leave before then as the door to leave the building locks fully.

Super weird but unique museum full of wax models of skin diseases. There is no English explanation and no photos are allowed. The museum is also small but you could easily spend an hour here as it has a large number of models.

Great museum of moulages (wax models of diseases). There are some terrible diseases displayed as wax models and also some injuries like frostbites or high voltage. It's free and easily accessible and reachable by tram. Definitely worth a stay, and also interesting for children (but could be a bit horrifying)

A unique museum with a collection of amazingly lifelike medical casts of various diseases. I've never seen anything like it. The models are fascinating and horrifying at the same time (for me, the full-size cast of a diseased baby stood out in both departments). The entry is free. I would not recommend going here if you are easily disgusted. But otherwise, it's very interesting. Not to mention educational!
