It was built in 1806. Near Mont Saint-Michel, the Moidrey mill, was not in operation for a long time and now is restored and working in full operation. there is the possibility of a private tour with the miller lasting 30 minutes. any recommendation to visit according to Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey

What a charming windmill to visit Set in lush fields, on a gentle slope overlooking the landscape and Mt Saint Michel in the far distance.

This is quite a landmark over the surrounding landscape. There is a carpark but we actually walked from the local village. The windmill was open and inside there is a shop selling flour milled there along with other local produce. Lovely views, including of Mont St Michael and there are information panels too. Free to visit.

Although MSM is the highlight in this area, make a detour to this beautiful windmill. The view of the mill turning is nothing short of amazing. You can buy different flours on site for a very reasonable price.

So close to Mont St Michel, it's worth visiting Moulin de Moidrey, beautiful building, amazing choice of flour, made in the mill. Worth doing the short tour.

During our trip to normandy Camporee, we stayed in Beauvoir to be able to visit Mont Saint Michael. We were looking for a grocery story in Pontorson when we discovered the Moulin de Moidrey. It looked so beautiful behind a field of yellow flowers. We decided to visit the 1806 mill and discovered its history. It is located 5 km from Mont Saint-Michel, a restoration that was completed in 2003, snd it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007. #abuelosmochileros_normandy #normandycamporee2022
