We paid €255 per person for our experience. We were given the option to choose one appetizer, one main course, and one dessert, with two options for each. Our expectations for the food were quite low, but we were pleasantly surprised! The dishes were well-balanced, and the beef (starter), salmon (main), and chicken (main) were tender and flavorful, reminiscent of dining at a decent Parisian restaurant. Each person also received half a bottle of champagne as part of the package, so we had a full bottle for two people. Before the show, you get to enjoy live music while having dinner. I’ve attended this show before, but I had forgotten how magnificent it is! Everyone should experience the Moulin Rouge at least once in their lifetime. It’s absolutely worth every penny, and I’m surprised they don’t charge more! Thank you to the team for all your hard work in providing such an amazing show for us, the customers!

Google
We booked months in advance for the show and meal. The decor and atmosphere definitely has the WOW factor. We had great seats and were joined by four more at the start of the show. The food was fabulous as was the bottle of champagne (we were expecting a glass!) Staff are exceptional. The performance, dancing and costumes were spectacular with beautiful attention to detail. An iconic show at an iconic venue with the CanCan routine stealing the show! Dress for the occasion!

Google
Incredible show that we would highly recommend going to see. The dancers are so talented and the show has lots of creative choreography with many moments of awe inspiring acts. Won’t spoil it but the acrobatic and dancing talent was wonderful. This was a really fun night out for a couple. Add it to your must do while in Paris list. 💃🥇

Stian Klepp

Google
This was overrated and overpriced! The acrobats were VERY impressive! Roller skate duo, strong gymnast, a syncronswimmer and dance couple were extraordinarily great! 🎊🎉🥳 The rest was mediocre at best. Uninspired cabaret dancers that were lip syncing and not singing them selves The food was well prepared, but odd taste combinations and small portions. The champagne was very good, but at the price they charge for the small portions and poor selections left us with a disappointment experience. The warmup duos singing as also quite poor. The gentleman's English was horrible, his voice was not great. Total experience in Moulin Rouge (Moulin Cash) was disappointing. We will not recommend this to our friends and relatives.

Google
A remarkable night out! Once the very erratic queuing was dispensed with, we were shown to our seating which gave us a great view of the spectacle that would follow! We had excellent champagne for my wife's birthday and the performance was something we won't forget! Definitely a bucket list job!

Google
At the time of our visit, no cameras allowed inside but the show itself was alright, food was also just OK. When visiting here it's more just to be able to say youve been and that in ismtself says alot about the history and appeal of the establishment. Would come back again on a different visit and the shows rotate out.

Google
One of the very best shows we've seen. It was our first time so not sure what to expect. We were sitting quite a way back from the stage which was one of the main disappointments especially as we got their early however the show was great, the costumes, performances, dancers, acrobats and all were amazing. Shame we missed the sails starting again the following night!

Google
Surpassed our expectations! We’ve been to Paris a few times and always put if off but we decided to give it a try and blew us away! The amount of costume changes and attention to detail was amazing! The dances were fun and the vibes were great. It should be noted that we are seated 6 to table which is kind of small/cramped, but it definitely did not ruin our night, it just might be something you’d prefer to know prior. The decoration and style of venue was also so perfect! I highly recommend for a fun night and something very different to do in Paris!

Yelp
If you are in Paris, I'd recommend booking a show at the Moulin Rouge! Is it the best show you're ever going to see? No. Is it expensive? Yes. But are you going to have a great time at an iconic place? 100%. Between the traditional acts, they have action packed stunt shows such as knife throwing, roller skating (which gave me the most anxiety haha) and underwater stunts. The building is beautiful inside & out, the dancers are gorgeous and I just really loved being able to experience it!

Yelp
This was a bucket list item for me ever since I first saw the movie when I was a little kid. I'm so glad I finally made it to the show. The 11:30 show goes until 1:30/2 am but it's worth a late night. Some of the acts are really amazing - the woman in the swimming pool, the man and woman with the knives and the two men doing incredible acrobatic holds. It's a very random mix of acts but it all kind of works. Definitely glad we made the time to do this! I understand why some people complained. I'll admit - we did NOT get there early. We got there at 11:10 and the show started at 11:40. We were seated at 11:38. As you can see from my video, we still had fine seats. We didn't spend money on dinner so we really were just here for the experience.

Yelp
This was a must do for my visit to Paris simply because of the long history of the cabaret. The decor was nice and made me feel like i stepped back in time. We had tickets for dinner and the show. Both did not disappoint. Dinner was a price fix. We had a choice of two different meals which were chosen when we purchased the ticket. A band entertained us during dinner. The main show was absolutely amazing. There were various skits, dances and performances that were surprising, funny and memorable. The costumes and stage props were brilliant and beautiful. Definitely worth checking out. Be sure to purchase in advance.

Yelp
My girlfriend has always wanted to check out the show so we decided to get their dinner here as well. But what that means is you'll be here eating 2 hours before the main show begins. They have a singing duo while you enjoy your meal and champagne. We thought we would eat during the actual Moulin Rouge performance. But that's on us for not reading the fine print. The food actually looks better than it tasted. It was well prepared but just didn't taste great. I would recommend just eating elsewhere before you come here and just have drinks during the performance. Wait staff is nice and knowledgeable. Could speak English well so there was no confusion with orders.

Yelp
This is the second time I watched the Moulin Rouge show. The last time I watched, it was more than 30 years ago. When I walked in, I completely loved the vibe of the show room, the yellow and red lights made it inviting, mysterious and romantic. Seatings are tight but the service was good. We were served with a glass of champagne followed by a starter, main course and a dessert. Food overall is good. While having dinner, there were 2 singers who performed some good songs to encourage a warm and welcoming experience. The actual moulin rouge production has improved a lot, costumes, music and lighting improved a lot. I like that they have different themes, in terms of the stories. All the performers work really hard and they are very professional. I like they added some gymnastic type of performance and diversify the show. Overall, it's a signature French cancan musical performance. It's a good experience if you are in Paris!

Yelp
My birthday celebration at Moulin Rouge was truly magical and everything I had hoped for! It was literally everything I wanted! I came for the 11 pm show, and though the ticket states doors close at 10:50 pm, there were still people rushing in past the deadline. There are 2 lanes, the "fast pass" and general admission. Seating is not assigned but allocated on a first-come, first-served basis by ushers. Those with a "fast pass" have a separate entry, and are seated before the general public. As a solo attendee, I was promptly seated in the front row, right by the stage, offering an incredibly close view--I could even see the dancers' sweat! The show itself, along with the performers and costumes, was breathtakingly beautiful, elegant, and seductive. I couldn't stop gaping at how wild and mystical everything was! Among the performances, my favorite was a captivating water routine by a soloist who exuded the grace of a mermaid or siren. She was stunning! Note: many of the performers' costumes are topless, following French fashion norms. I opted not to order food or drinks from the venue, as several reviews had mentioned their subpar quality. I would advise enjoying a meal and drinks beforehand. Lastly, a word of caution: the venue is located in a somewhat sketchy area of Paris. Ladies, it's essential to stay vigilant and keep your bags close at hand

Yelp
Moulin rouge TLDR/Short version: Took in the late night performance with a bottle of champagne for two. Value for money and a spectacular show. Review: (Some spoilers) The venue lovingly maintains the character of the old school music hall complete with many of the old fixtures. We took in the late night Moulin Rouge show with a bottle of champagne for two which we didn't finish after a couple of healthy wine pours at dinner (but did donate to three girls as a treat - bon chance mademoiselles!). The 11pm show tickets are thoroughly worth it for the 90 min performance with a 25% price reduction. The prices were reduced late night due to the cost of transportation from the venue late night. Pigalle isn't an unsafe area per se, but at 1am some of the typical late night city nightlife does become a little more intense... While many of the show's songs, some of the outfits, and 90% of the male dancers were passe/cheesy/kitsch, the venue, choreography, costumes and girls were fantastic. Most striking of all were the elaborate head pieces, which seemed to become more extravagant with each number. For any sensitive Americans still scared of naked breasts, be warned the show is an elegant celebration of topless and semi topless dancing. Highlights of the show aside from the traditional cancan, were the transition acts including a magnificent display of strength and balance from a male acrobat, incredible flexibility from a contortionist and an acrobatic combination of both from a dancing couple. Of the main show performances the aquatic display was excellent. Pro tip: buy the champagne package and get there 30-45 mins early to secure a good table with view on the floor, as all tables fill up and you're escorted to the first open seats. Champagne purchasers receive seats with an unobstructed view otherwise the others are crowded around in fairly tight proximity.

Yelp
The show was AMAZING. My only regret is the seating arrangement: we were like sardines in a can!

Yelp
OMG! Moulin Rouge. (Which BTW was one of the best shows I've seen) I wouldn't recommend the dinner though. I wish we would've just watched the show. The dinner is a little weird because you eat first and then you watch the show. So we were really full and tired before the show even started. It's like a four hour event and the food wasn't even that good. Overall, I would definitely go again, but again just go to the show. Note: you can't take pictures once the show actually starts but they at least let u take them inside when you are eating. And it's absolutely beautiful in there and they have a live band while you are eating which I liked.

Yelp
A 3.5 experience: In my opinion the Moulin Rouge show is a little bit like a cross between the New York Rockettes and Cirque du Solei with a bit of comedy and partial nudity. The costumes are so beautiful and dazzling. The acrobatic man, the comedy acrobatic duo, the skater couple, and a couple of the dance numbers were entertaining. However, some parts of the show lacked anything interesting. The clowns and the cancan numbers were among my least favorite. I came for the Christmas evening dinner and a show. The dinner was definitely not the best dinner experience in Paris but it was okay for this one time experience and service is not attentive. It took 30 minutes just to get someone's attention to simply ask for water for our table. Also, if you have dietary restrictions, I would recommend skipping dinner here since the menus are prefixed and very limited and just book the show tickets only. The seating in the theater is very tight and hard to move around while seated as all the tables are packed together. My dinner table was located in the middle of the floor and a bit off to the left side of the stage. If I knew what I know now I'd probably checkout how much more it'd cost to get seats much closer to the stage as it was hard to see everything on stage since lots a taller crowds were seated in front of me. The Christmas evening dinner and show cost something like $600 once converted to USD for two and that included a bottle of champagne and a small Christmas present of chocolate candy.

Yelp
We hadn't gone to the Moulin Rouge last year when we visited Paris, so we made point of getting tickets to a show this time and we were happy we did. This was an incredible show. The production quality, the costumes, the choreography, the music and the physicality and strength demonstrated for some of the acts was unbelievable. We had a table for two and a bottle of champagne in a bucket of ice with a great view of the stage. This show is non stop, with one performance after the other. A memorable night out.

Yelp
Stunning show! It was fun, sexy and super impressive. Singing, dancing, tasteful nudity, evan some skill demonstrations! The only criticism I had was the seating. Many seats are extremely cramped and with a poor view. My suggestion is to get there when the doors open an hour early.

Yelp
Go see it once, some of the performers are spectacular. I would order the dinner. Have fun!

Yelp
Like others, this is a thing you come and just do to say you did it. However, I would recommend NOT getting the dinner. Food is just okay and kind of pricey. HOWEVER!! You will be established and have the front ish view of the table if you get dinner. They seat the people without dinner behind the dinner people. So I did feel kind of bad because we had a pretty good view but I'm sure the people sitting behind us had trouble seeing. I just had my sister in front and even then it obstructed my view a good amount. Yes full boobies do be out. Wasn't expecting that and also I felt the show was lackluster. I've gone to better ones in Vegas where the theatrics and choreography is much better. Sometimes dancers were offbeat and it seemed a little messy at times. Food: I forgot what I had for starter (I remember being unimpressed) but I had the fish for main course and dessert was the almond bar. The best part for me was the dessert. We were sightseeing all day and did not go back to change. We did not wear flip flops or shorts as requested but still felt VERY underdressed. People really pull out ALL the stops for this, but no one really says anything and there def was people who were in the same boat as us so take it as you will.

Yelp
The "Can Can" was anti-climatic with just a few kicks and not even the finale of the show. As disclosed by our waiter, the show has "modernisé" and changed from it's classic routines. Half the performances are men dancing and/or Cirque de Soleil like strength feats. The preshow live band built some good energy but performed mostly American 70 hits. Dancing in front was encouraged. The website and tickets declare a strict dress code but at least a third of tourists were in casual wear. Honestly, that pardoning the flipflops and shorts took away from the respectable ambience but what can the staff do. You will enjoy the night more if you play your part and dress up a bit. The late night show is cheaper in ticket pricing as it is without dinner but that is what you want ~ the food is horrible. Cheap champagne, scantily dressed dancers, obnoxious audience ~ viva la Moulin Rouge for the longest running show since 1889! *Book a couple weeks in advance.

Yelp
The is the second time my wife and I have had the opportunity to experience this show. It's worth traveling to Paris just to enjoy the food and performances of all the artists involved in the Moulin Rouge. Food is truly gourmet French cuisine. The show reminds me of the fabulous Las Vegas style shows of years past. We absolutely loved all the costumes, dancing and music. The auditorium is breathtaking beautiful. The service is better than you find a five star restaurants. The pre-show music and band are very good. We had a great time! If you are going to Paris, you really need to go enjoy this show.

Yelp
Extremely disappointed in the company's customer service. We bought an expensive VIP package but couldn't go because of a breast cancer diagnoses and chemo. We received an email stating we could reschedule within 2 years. This package was about $400 so we re-booked a trip for 2025 just for this bucket list show. When I asked to re-book it, the reservations lady refused to escalate my concern and denied any rescheduling options. They completely lied and cheated us out of a dream trip. Do not buy tickets and expect any type of customer service. We are beyond hurt that a company would choose money over rescheduling an experience, when the Moulin Rouge is just that- an iconic experience. I can't imagine how their employees would feel if they were denied an opportunity to re-book a dream trip of theirs- I hope that never happens to them because it's heartbreaking and dream crushing.

Yelp
I REALLLLYYY wanted to love it but i just felt let down. If anyone knows me, they know that paris and the moulin rouge was always a fascination of mine. I have been DREAMING of coming here for years. But sadly i was disappointed. To be fair idk what exactly i was expecting. Maybe i was expecting it to be closer to the movie but i just thought it was all a little cheesy. I had a good time dont get me wrong but it was just eh. BUT i want to give a shout out to the girlies that shared their bottle of champagne with me. Yall the best!

Yelp
Moulin Rougeeee ! So cool! I have wanted to see this ever since the movie Burlesque came out. I'm not even sure if this movie was filmed in Paris, but it made me think of the Moulin Rouge. And made me want to go there lol I saw the Moulin Rouge during the day, so I didn't get to see all of the lights. Bummer... We took public transportation to get there, and it was crowded. Lots of people around the outside and on the streets. I realllllly wanted to go see a show here, but we just didn't have time on our trip. I am sad about that. Maybe next time we go back to Paris, we will have time to see a show here! In any case, this is worth a stop. Even if you can't go see a show there, seeing the outside is still fun. It is a historic landmark. You must go to see it!

Yelp
I have been to Paris many times. I had never been to the Moulin Rouge, but when we travel, we like to do at least one evening show/event. I thought this might be fun and iconic, but was terrified by the reviews. I am a fairly well rounded person with lots of experiences such as seeing shows in the West End in London, going to Broadway in New York and have always enjoyed local theatre, traveling theater groups, and have gone to several cirque de soleil shows as well as symphonies and concerts. We did the 9pm show, no dinner or drinks as we had just come from dinner at Pink Mamma down the street. First, people are here to have fun and see the "iconic" and historic show. Everyone was in a good mood. I was not sure what to expect, but I am always open minded. We ended up getting a bottle of champagne once we sat down. The show was fun! The costumes were great, the music was fun, and we had a good time! I can't imagine coming here and being so negative, but clearly, some people are just negative. We are a straight couple, 50 years old, and pretty positive people who just enjoy life. Should you do it? Yes, I think so. If you have any inkling at all and the funds, I say there is no reason not to go if you want to. I am sure there are other productions to see in the city, but the week we were there, there wasn't much else we wanted to see.

Yelp
In 2010, I studied abroad in Paris. I was on a serious budget and the one thing I wanted to do was go to the Moulin Rouge, but I couldn't justify spending hundreds of dollars to go. Enter 2022. I return to Paris and what's the first thing I do after I have my plane tickets? Spend the hundreds of dollars to go. Was it worth it? Absolutely! I purchased tickets for two for the 9 PM showing. They have a second showing at 11 PM, but I'm an old lady and knew I probably wouldn't stay up that late, especially given the jet lag we knew we'd be experiencing. Anyhow, you have the option to add on dinner if you so choose, but we opted against it having read reviews that the food was not exactly memorable. That and honestly for more money it just didn't seem worth it to us. That said, we did get the champagne package, and wow, they were super generous with it. We had an entire bottle for ourselves and just barely managed to finish it within the two hours of the show. The show itself was unlike anything I've ever seen. I expected full-on cabaret, but they had very little of that and instead it seemed very Cirque du Soleil with acts such as a woman being underwater with snakes. You seriously have to see it to believe it. That and they don't let you take photos inside anyway. As for the set-up, the earlier you get there, the better in terms of seating. We had a great view of the stage. Probably the only complaint I have is that they pack you in like sardines. So many tables, so many chairs. I can definitely tell you that you're not in America where everything tends to be spacious and grand. Even being thin, you feel cramped with everything.

Yelp
Pro : History Con: Horribly outdated, hellish security check, super dangerous part of Paris. AVOID THIS PLACE. I loved the movie and the musical. For my 10 year high school reunion for our 2001 class, I picked Moulin Rouge as our theme. Have original movie poster framed and hung up in my office. My expectation was stupid high... which crushed my wife and I when we just left after in the show for 45 minutes. Got tickets with tour guide for the late show. Meet around the west side of the Eiffel tower and was charter bus to 9th Arrondissement. Street was filthy and crows of street merchants came to us to start pushing merch, after the tour guide moved us in front of the venue with our individual ticket, we were told that the first show ran late (it's always late) and we will get in line for security. Here is where things got silly. We were told to dress up for the show, after all, it's a classic, right? Mid Sept, it was 80 degrees and damp at 9:30 pm. The security line had us walk 2 stories up and down stairs with no AC, plus 3000 people indoor waiting around for 1 hour, it got really hot, there was end to end people in line. some in fur and full suit. Things got a bit ugly as people start to strip down a little bit to cool down, but the indoor temp got around 90 degrees. The doors finally opens at 11 pm for the second show. We were shoved into a multi-tiered seating area, our VIP table got some cheap wine or soda. The room got filled up pretty quickly. The show. Just outdated. If you have seen any Cirque show, this is too slow for you or any local junior college level variety show, this show have older outfits and set design. People come out, dances in some 70's old fashion routine at 70 years old speed, some skins were shown, but there was no heart from the performers. Choreography bored us to sleep so we just left. If you been to any drag show, this will be a disappoint. If you been to any high school level musical, this will be a disappoint. If you been to any middle school talent show, you have seen better lighting and production value.

Yelp
Review from a New York girl: Costume/set design made this almost worth *half* the price. The dancers may have been talented as individuals, but the group choreography was not strict or synced enough AT all. And since I don't speak French, there was no storyline to follow to make up for it. I kept wanting to look at my phone. This being Moulin Rouge in Paris, I was expecting some sort of wow factor such as: animals, aerial acrobatics, magic, fire, audience participation... but no. Just the "Itty Bitty Titty Committee" (not my words). There were 3 short America's Got Talent-esque acts throughout the show, impressive enough to have us on the edge of our seats like "Wow this person could die or paralyze themselves right now" But the seating was cramped, the alcohol overpriced, spend your money elsewhere.

Yelp
Moulin Rouge is definitely one of the shows you must see if you come to Paris. Located in the red light district of Paris it's a show that definitely is not for the prude at heart nor at those afraid to see a generous amount of nudity in a show. The red light district is famous for the old school whore houses from the 1700 and 1800's. The buildings are still here and now turned into bars and restaurants. From what I was told by some locals we met the girls that perform are professional dancers that worked very hard to get onto the show. They aren't 18 year olds right out of high school but mature professional ladies. Even families with kids attend this show. The French culture is very open about nudity and sexuality. If you're like me growing up in an environment where sexuality was normal (born and raised in Vegas) then you've probably seen more tits than a Victoria Secret bra. But hats off to the girls of the show for keeping in such great shape. They are all toned, fit, in shape and show a good amount of skin. Thongs seem to be their main bottom piece. The show itself was very well done. Great production. So much going on on the stage and the amount of costumes the entertainers wear is amazing. Plus this show reminded me a lot of the Cirque Du Soilel shows I've seen growing up in Vegas. A lot of cool acrobatic and hard to perform acts that really deserve applause. My favorite parts were the dude balancing his body upside down on a bottle, the balancing guy on all those tubes, and finally the two strong men. Exact same act as Mystere in Las Vegas. Not taking away anything from these guys but I've seen this routine before. Their physical strength is incredible. The dancing was just eh. It was whatevs. The choreography was nothing impressive. The guys dancing sucked major lol. They cannot dance. But let's be real, nobody comes here to see a bunch of dudes dancing in their vests with no shirt on. People come to see the topless girls. Their were boobs everywhere. The dress code is pretty strict. Our entire group were all dressed in our best. Saw a few scrubs in here in sneakers and t shirts. Like seriously. Show some class and dress for the occasion! They don't allow shorts or sandals in the theater. That's a plus. The champagne they serve is on the house. But it is house champagne so it's not the best and it might give you a headache if you're not used to drinking it and don't have food in your stomach. We got some bottles of Taittinger Champagne which is top tier. Shocked it was only $100.00 Euros a bottle. We were all shocked since we charge over $800.00 at our restaurant back in the US. Definitely a show worth seeing once. Kind of the tourist thing to do. I recommend seeing the later show since it is significantly less expensive. I can't see paying 2 bills for this show.

Yelp
This time in Paris we finally had time to visit the Moulin Rouge show. The name is known worldwide and so is the building. A big number of tourists line up to get a good pic of the Moulin Rouge. And of course so did we. We booked in advance. A regular ticket for the main show at 9pm. 155 Euros a person. There was a line, but it did move fast. Small purses are no problem, bigger bags and backpacks are not allowed in, but you can check them in at the free cloakroom. Inside it is very classy, flooded in red lights. Pretty dark. The biggest surprise were the amount of seats and tables. It is narrow, you sit very close to some strangers. Many tables are shared. If you need more privacy, then you need to book a VIP ticket. We didn't order champagne with, we just had a big dinner before the show, got just some soda, which was pricey still. The first impression in the end was a bit of a letdown. But that quickly changed when the show started. And what an amazing show it was. The stage is huge, the amount of singers and dancers is massive. All very very professional. Perfect choreography. They must train very hard to get into the show here. It really is prime entertainment. The show was almost 90 minutes long, longer than we expected. We mostly enjoyed the classic parts with the old-school fancy dresses. And yes, many of the dancers do indeed still appear topless on stage, which was nice, since we thought time has changed. And we were pleasantly suprised that they kept it old-school, classic and traditional. Could have skipped the 80s sections though. Musically not really our style. All in all we had a wonderful evening. The price for the ticket is justified. A lot of time and training goes into this show. And lots of staff in front and behind the stage. Really worth it. And a real highlight of our trip to Paris. The show in theory lets kids in from age 6. But I wouldn't recommend it though. Not because of the nudity (that's no shock and if you're uncomfortable with that, maybe Moulin Rouge is not for you), but because it's just more of an adult entertainment. The setting and the length of the show will be a bit much for kids.

Yelp
It's a glitzy production with mediocre singing and dancing talent but all is forgiven for all the boobs and ass you see. There are a few performances like contortionists, skaters and balancing acts. I mean, half way, it all becomes the same more or less. Just more outfits and half naked women dancing. It's a very Parisian thing to do so I can't talk that much trash about it. Would recommend just because it's like a bucket list one and done.

Yelp
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! The show was great, costumes great, but seating was AWFUL. Paid $350 for seats that I could not see a thing from. We were sat behind 2 other couples and had to find a Birds Eye view between others to try and watch. Wish they mentioned the seating was AWFUL prior to purchasing.

Yelp
For me, this was the highlight of our Paris trip. We booked the dinner (Soiree Toulouse-Lautrek Menu) and show tickets, so we were there for over 3 hours. I enjoyed the dinner very much. For appetizer, I had the Marinated Fillet of Seabream. It was well marinated raw/sushi fillets. My friend got the Duck Foie Gras, which is good as well yet we're not into foie gras. For main entree, I had the Oven Baked Pollack Fish and my friend got the Grilled Cooked Breast of Farm Chicken. For me, the fish was a better entree and looked prettier than the chicken. I enjoyed my fish. However, I wish I paid more for the Belle Epoque Menu since the Veal entree seemed a better option. For desserts, we had the Choux Pastry and Cheesecake, which were very good. We liked the pastry better than the other. For the show, it was really good! It was very entertaining! It was a well coordinated performance. There was a lot of nudity with breasts; but the show was well choreographed so the nudity played a big role as art, like the art around the city, with paintings and sculptures showing a lot of nudity in art. I wish I watch the show towards the later part of our stay in Paris. Watching it on our first night, jet lagged, was a bit of a challenge.

Yelp
Amazing show! Definitely worth the money. The only thing I would say is that the staff was not friendly, but that seems to be a lot of what the French are known for, so I wasn't shocked. There were times they made me feel stupid though, like when I was asking where the restroom was. I understand they are kind of rushing around, but they could be nicer about it. All in all though the show is really awesome! Just be prepared to sit at a table with a bunch of random people if you are not coming with a large party. Also I did see a good number of kids there with their parents. I wouldnt say this show is exactly kid friendly.

Yelp
First time visiting Paris and we made it to this wonderful place. Lucky enough to have floor seats with great food and amazing company. Definitely a must for all and I honestly can't wait to return. Show was well worth the price and dinner was superb Inside photography is prohibited during the show but we snapped a pic

Yelp
Came on a Sunday night with my sister & girlfriends. We were seated front row & had champagne service. Every act & shows were sexy & stunning! I was really amazed by some of the acts. Very impressive. Topless with class! We had a great time! Would definitely come back. . .

Yelp
We skipped the Moulin Rouge the first time we went to Paris, so this time we figured why not. The show is expensive... so expensive! And so I went with the cheapest option, which was the 11:30 p.m. show on a Sunday night. Despite the fact that I picked what is probably the least popular time slot of the week, the show was still a good 80-90 percent sold out. The tickets are extremely specific about what time you need to be there and that there is a set time when the doors close (and you will no longer be permitted in). The other thing we realized is that it's such a high-volume event that a lot of that extra time goes to crowd management. I would recommend getting there early and knowing there is a lot of waiting in line. First you wait in line outside. Then they open the doors. You proceed to file into the theater, up a huge staircase, through the security checkpoint, through your ticket being scanned, around the upper floor, down the steps on the other side and then finally into the theater. Once you enter the theater, you are greeted and ushered to your seats where your waiter takes over. There is champagne for the asking and served by the bottle. It was dry and cheap and unremarkable. I stopped after two glasses because it was giving me a headache. You can also order other drinks to the table via your waiter. The show itself is really really quite a production. I've been to a lot of Broadway shows and a lot of professional concerts, and I can tell you, this show has high production value. The costumes are AMAZING. The sets are AMAZING. And the music is well... it's decent anyway. The women are topless sometimes and otherwise scantily clad. But even so, it is still a show and you can tell the performers are very proud of the show they put on. (Also they do it three times a night... respect.) There are also MEN in the show for the ladies... my how far we've come. At any rate, I am not sorry we went. I enjoyed myself a lot. It was an extremely entertaining show. And I now understand the cost of the show... there are a LOT of people on stage in the show not to mention the crew and venue staff. That's a lot of people to pay. But it takes all of them to pull off the 20+ costumes the girls wear in one show and it really is quite an impressive spectacular from a production standpoint. I'd recommend it if you can afford it and are up for a bit of a raunchy fun time. Leave your prudes at home and come with an open mind and a fun spirit and you'll be just fine. Photography of course is not allowed in the theater during the show itself.

Yelp
If you're visiting Paris you can not miss the original iconic Moulin Rouge. From the start, the preshow band was great and had everyone in the audience ready to start the show. I'd definitely recommend getting their early to get good seats because they pack the theatre so you can barely move. Also skip the dinner and just get drinks. Yes it is expensive, you are in Paris at one of their iconic shows. Parking is very difficult and the area is packed so I'd recommend you take a bus or uber. The show is more similar to a cirque de soleil rather than a cabaret, although the showgirls are topless. The choreography was cool blending of traditional can-can with contemporary dance forms. There were certain areas of the group performance that were not perfectly in sync but none the less the show was great. The set design and costumes were unique. My favorite was the pool of snakes. The vibrant colors, intricate costumes, and elaborate stage sets created a world that felt nostalgic. The theatre although it looks like the old Paris on the outside is beautiful on the inside. If you're looking to cross off a bucket list Paris attraction this is it. Moulin Rouge is a celebration of love, art, and the indomitable spirit of Paris. If you find yourself in the City of Lights, don't miss the opportunity to witness this spectacular masterpiece. Don't forget to take a picture at night with the theatre lit up!

Yelp
This is a must see on a late night in Paris. It is a performance unlike anything you will ever see. Just be aware of nudity, if you can look past it, this show will blow your mind! 100% worth every penny.

Yelp
I came here not knowing what to expect but only knowing that this was one of those must sees while in Paris. For people calling it a "tourist trap" and complaining about the lines. You are to purchase a VIP ticket and it is 100% worth the money. With the VIP ticket you do not need to wait in line and instead are able to go right in and sit in a reserved seating area and sip champagne. Then you are seated inside in a special seating up top with a great view and more champagne. I saw some mentions of a dress code, I was 100% dressed casually as I had been sightseeing all day and did not have time to change. Nobody mentioned anything to me about how I was dressed. I cannot speak for everyone, however. The show itself is okay. The specialty acts were my favorite particularly. It is no cirque du soleil but it is entertaining and a good time. Drink your champagne, sit back, relax, and enjoy the fun!

Yelp
Christmas Night: DRESS CODE: It's true, the dress code is seemingly strict. You must dress upscale for this event. Prior to arrival I was nervous about the dress code. Yes, I was in a dress and fur coat but I'd left my heels in the states so I had to compromise with boots. Thankfully they looked past it and I was seated promptly. SEATING: I was close to the front which was a surprise since we showed up 5 minutes after the doors opened. Apparently, to get good seating you MUST arrive at least an hour early. The place was packed. Unless you're with a big party, you'll be seating with strangers at a table. We were served 3 bottles of champagne. The other party seated with us ordered water. (5 euros for a tall glass bottle of it) If you're lucky and the other people you're seated with don't want too much champagne, you get to take home a bottle. THE SHOW: I was expecting the can-can and pretty outfits. Beautifully dressed dancers, right? Boobs! Boobs everywhere!!! It was such a sight, the ladies were gorgeous, the performance was unlike anything I was expecting. Professional skaters, naked women swimming with snakes, guys with 8 packs standing on each others heads, it was insane! Was worth every penny!

Yelp
Took me 16 years to come back here after having tickets and then having to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. The seats were cramped but the venue was beautiful. The show was a tad cheesy, but you can't beat the history of this place! Most importantly, I was entertained in spite of the cheesiness

Yelp
This show was spectacular! It was one of the classic landmarks of France and it is a cultural icon. The tickets need to be purchasing advance, but there are a lot of different options. VIP entry as well. One thing to note is that you should line up early from the show as they will seat each gas individually, and will ask for you to a table. There is also an option to have champagne during the show which I highly recommend. The production value as far superior tiny show ever seen on Broadway, New York, or anywhere around the world. Where are dances from all over the world and this is a coveted show. There is a diverse cast from France, the UK, Canada, and Australia. This is a topless show, so if that is something that would upset you that I would not recommend coming. The nudity is very tasteful and is very normal as part of the French culture. Many children, or teens are present in the crowd, and exposure of skin does not want to be productive during the show. It is more expensive, which is not unexpected. Given the quality of a show, and the duration of the show which lasts a significant amount of time. They're also a lot of acrobatic and gymnastic acts that occur between dance numbers. There are songs sang in French. If you want to see the origins of an amazing can can number, this is the place to be! It was never a dull moment

Yelp
So I'm solo traveling through Europe and while in Paris I had to stop to see a Cabaret Performance at The Moulin Rouge! Omgg I am so glad I did!! Everything was amazing and went so smoothly. Even though I do not speak much French everyone from the doorman to the waiter helped me so much. On to the show WOWWWWWWW is all I can say. I literally was smiling the whole time due to how entertaining it was. I literally held off from going to the to the toilette because I did not want to kiss anything. This was the first time going to anything like this but I will say this will not be my last. It was soooo entertaining that I totally forgot they were speaking French. I give this show an overall 10/10 so next time your are in Paris you should def check them out!!!

Yelp
Pickpockets at the end near toilets taking advantage of the crowd exiting ... no one checking those who are entering during the exit . My friend got her purse to be gone instantly.

Yelp
Sooooo where do I start. Well I would recommend reading about this place first before going based on must do activities written in articles. I was definitely not aware this place was topless. Let's talk about the shock on my face along with my realization that adolescent boys were seeing the same thing that I was. I think the show was great without having the girls dance topless. That is why I scored it as well as I did. However the seating is extremely tight. Like there is no room to exhale. Thankfully everyone showered because the show would be unbearable if they hadn't. The event is a bit pricey and sells out in advance so definitely get your tickets weeks before planning to go. If you do not pay for the dinner session prior to the show please please eat before you go. The food availability is limited after the show. And you definitely do not want to walk around looking for meals in that district. It's situated near strip clubs. However if you find yourself grabbing a bite I would recommend the diner a few steps up the street called Le Chat Noir. See review

Yelp
I can appreciate that choreography with a large crowd is challenging, but aside from the acrobats this was sub par. The dancers were stiff, lip syncing throughout, and felt like they started rehearsing 30 minutes before the show. Overall, relies on boobs to bring in travelers with a lack luster show and out of rhythm dancing. Totally get this is a "check the box" event, but for the price I could've seen two broadway shows with much better performances and a less posh crowd.

Yelp
The production values are below Barnum & Bailey. The music is recorded as are the vocals. The dancers seem talented enough but are burdened by terrible choreography. There were two acts that were amusing, a contortionist and a rolling skating duo. In between is just more of the same elaborate costumes covering up a lack of imaginative performances. I lasted an hour and left. Don't waste your money and time. Lots of nice tits if that's what you're into. Even that gets old fast.

Yelp
Yes, it's pretty much a tourist trap. Do I care? No. For me, it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that was worth it. My friend and I went all out (this was actually the first thing we booked once we confirmed we were going to Paris) and did the VIP experience for the 11pm show. It was pricey, but worth it. We tried to go in early to get drinks up by the windmill (yes, you can go that; it's hard to find), but the line to get it was too long so we just ended up at the very American-vibed bar next door. Sitting outside we could the the line to get in the Moulin Rouge getting looooonger, so we finally finished our drinks and got in line. The minute the security guard saw our VIP tickets we were whisked away through a side door and past the very long line. We were led inside to another line where I asked if we should line up there and the staff member said "no, you don't wait in lines!" We were escorted to the VIP suite where we got to sit and wait in comfy chairs (as opposed to the long line to get in) and champagne. Right before the show we were escorted to our seats, in the front row of the upper balcony with a perfect view (and a bottle of champagne). The show itself was quite enjoyable, both the 'main' show and the side acts (I think my favorite was the roller-skating!). It's quite the spectacular, and really worth it. It's quite pricey, especially if you do VIP, but if you really want a 'comfortable' experience it's worth it. Reading other reviews about standing in long lines and being packed in at the tables on the main floor with bad view made me feel even better about the splurge. Definitely don't feel the need to go back, but for me getting to see it was awesome! (I would give five stars for the experience alone, but it is quite pricey, hence the 4 stars).

Yelp
We payed about 400$ (180€ per tickets + commission) for our tickets. We chose the 9PM show (21:00). We arrived early, like recommended, at about 20:10 (8:20 PM). When we went in and were seated - we were given terrible seats on the balcony in the far left corner. Everything else was taken by the people who bought the 7PM dinner + show. You cannot choose your seats so the seat gets chosen for you by the guy at the entrance. If you arrive in a group of two or less - you will be given the worst seat you could have. We decided to enjoy anyway and chose drinks, wine, red and pink. The red wine brought was abhorrent, it was clear it was cheap. Mind you, a glass of alcohol in Moulin Rouge will cost you at least 15€. The stage is very hard to see from this angle. And the chairs we were seated on were terrible. Tall red barstools with no back support, which really hurt if you are sitting for more than 30 minutes. The table was small and shaky. The people near us were not impressed either. There was a dress code, but by the look of the crowd not many people followed it. As for the show itself - the costumes were beautiful. All girls are tall and skinny, but not fit. They did not dance well, the moves were simple and quite monotonous. The numbers were repeating over and over again, just in different costumes. A few numbers were memorable though, but they were not performed by the people of the main cast. Two girls were gymnasts and could bend beautifully, it was similar to a circus acrobatic number. Otherwise - the show was quite boring. They did add a synchronized swimmer number, but she was not good (although could hold her breath for a good amount of time). For that price you are better off seeing Cirque Du Soleil (we've been 3 times and each time it was breathtaking) or a broadway musical (or any music show with good singing). I had a feeling that the price was just for the topless performance, which, let's be honest - is nothing impressive in this day and age. (The photo of the stage did turn out better than it was due to the zoom feature).

Yelp
We had a great time! We had way too much champagne (I dunno if anyone think that's a problem lol) but the show was amazing and had a great time! I do recommend!

Yelp
So fun! The dancing and music was great! But the food was not good. Wish we'd eaten elsewhere and just gotten the champagne. Be prepared to stand in line for a very long time before being seated, even though you need tickets in advance. A highlight of the trip!
