Mount Pleasant of Edinboro

Excitement in the snow for beginners. This is a wonderful place to go if you're just learning how to ski or snowboard, or want to fine-tune your jumps and rip it. It's a great local ski gem. Watch out for lessons as you go down the hill, but otherwise it's amazing! Enjoy!

We went Mount Pleasant of Edinboro with my three kids first time snowboarding , so we got a one and half hour private lesson The staff were friendly and welcoming .The instructor James and Issac was fabulous and knowledgeable, and had my kids fully ready for the hill within an hour. Their instructors, staff, rental team, lift operators were all extremely friendly and helpful. The Lodge food was very and I thought was pretty good for the money.

Fan-ta-stic! Took 10 tubers for the first time and def will return. Great time had by all from ages 11-53. Even the hard to find teen age smile was found today. Employees were friendly and helpful. Food was great. Told the bacon ranch pizza was the best ever. 100% satisfaction.

This is the best place to learn how to ski for the first time and also the best place to just enjoy the snow! My husband and I took the beginner class, and after that session we were able to ski in the beginner hill and even take the poma lift. All thanks to our amazing, very kind, professional, patient and super nice instructor - Maddison M. She's the best!!! Please request for her if you are new to skiing!!! No one could have handled my fears better than her. She is a great teacher. She knows the perfect words to say so you get exactly what you need to do to ski and be encouraged despite the downfalls. She believed that I can do the intermediate trail, when I doubted myself. And she was right!!! I survived it, and it was only possible because of her fantastic teaching skills, guidance and cheer. I'll definitely go back for more lessons with Maddi M. Even without lessons actually, we kept on coming back because the atmosphere of this ski resort is very relaxing. The price is very fair. They also have good food. Overall, I will definitely recommend Mount Pleasant!!!

Had a great time tubing at Mount Pleasant. The staff were very helpful and the attendants at the tube park were awesome! Very friendly, upbeat and happy. Especially the one dude hooking us up, he was having fun at his job enjoying ing his music. 😀

Wonderful First Visit to Mount Pleasant of Edinboro This Christmas, we decided to gift our kids the experience of a few trips, and one of them was to Mount Pleasant of Edinboro. It was our first visit, and it couldn’t have been better! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making the experience smooth and enjoyable for all of us. Our kids had an absolute blast, especially with the snow tubing. My son is now excited to try skiing for the first time, thanks to the great time he had. This was a fantastic family outing, and we’re looking forward to coming back soon! Highly recommend it for families looking for fun winter activities.

Beautiful place to ski and snowboard! Tons of snow, a friendly staff, clean and new equipment and lifts!!! Having this in our hometown is such a blessing!

Mount Pleasant is an affordable option for easy skiing is northern Ohio / Pennsylvania. I went on a Saturday afternoon, paid $35 for lift tickets and $20 for ski and boot rental. They only have one lift, but 5 or 6 main slopes come down from that point. I really enjoyed the off piste, that included some fun jumps and turns. There are a few good jumps on the main slopes as well. The ski rental building doubles as a snack shop, and they have a huge stove that you can use to dry your gloves and other wet things. The slopes were busy until about 6:30 pm, at which point all the classes ended and the slopes freed up. There is plenty of assistance personnel skiing down the slopes, ready to provide help for those who need it. The slopes are well lit and are open until 10. They are well maintained with plenty of snow. Shout out to the little warming cabin about a third of the way down the main slope, it's cozy and has a roaring fire in it. Overall I had a blast.
