Great tramway but expensive. The ride is impressive. There are some good trails up above that offer fantastic views of the area. The restaurant is decent. We enjoyed the native demonstration and video at the theater. Overall, it’s overpriced but worth it if you enjoy trams and unique views.

If you don’t have any better plans for the staying in Juneau Alaska, you can take care Mount Roberts dream way and go to the top of the mountains where you will see amazing view for the whole Juno Bay. From the top of the mountain over the cruise ships there looks like a small boxes. And of course, if you catch the good weather, you will enjoy for sure. And in case, if you like to challenge yourself, I will suggest you to take a walk back to using one of the walking trail, which will take you back to the city. Damn you’ll have a great scenery and exercising in the same time.

This is well worth it! We had an amazing hike after reaching the top. You just take the tram up and you come back down when you want (same day of course). There is a restaurant at the top with indoor and outdoor seating.

A really quick but great ascent up the mountain that gives a wonderful opportunity to see the beautiful scenery. It only gets better at the top. The beer is also great which is an added bonus. I would also thoroughly recommend the film show in the theatre.

If you're cruising into Juneau, this is a great stop. We got up early and were up the mountain before 9am, a.k.a. before the throngs of people! We are not hikers, but we did head up the trail from the tram, at a leisurely pace, and stopped when we wanted a rest. We were rewarded with a couple of great platforms with bench seats and spectacular views! We visited on 6-17-2025. We bought our tickets in advance on our cruise ship so we could avoid lines to buy tickets - but that early in the day there were no lines for tickets or to get on the tram.

Taking the tram to the top of Mount Roberts was very easy for us on our last cruise as we literally docked next to the tramway lower terminal. A short ride to the top gave us great views as we were climbing and coming back down, of the harbor and the cruise ships at dock. AT the top, we visited the eagle sanctuary and got pretty close to one of the resident eagles. We also visited the native heritage exhibits at the top. We also had great views along and across the inlet at the scenery.

This was such a great experience.. Beautiful views of Juneau. Mt Roberts trail was awesome and challenging. The restaurant at the top of the mountain had great views indoor or outdoor eating. The bear rugs and goat rugs on the wall were cool.. And the food was great. I had Halibut.. Wonderful experience!!!

Awesome experience! Just a minute or two walk from the cruise ship, nobody in line, walked straight up presented my unlimited users excursion ticket, stamped my wrist, they loaded folks and up up and away we went 🚡this hiking trail joins the Mt. Robertson easy 5-10 there are so many small beauties easily to miss them with the gracious mountain skylines.

Yelp
Very disappointing experience for $60/person. The area below the tramway is commercial and there isn't much to see except cruise ships and container yards. Total ripoff.
