Nice small museam with about 16 rooms of history. Interesting range of items to look and read about. Not a much reading as most. Worth a visit if you like history.

Great museum to visit, especially on a raining day! Lots of rooms to look in and so much to see. Everything is laid out nicely, upstairs and downstairs. So much history, the volunteer at the front was super friendly, had a great conversation with him about the ghosts that roam the museum. Definitely worth a visit. $8 each Adult. Maybe a little pricy.

Plethora of vintage artefacts that take you back to the old times. It has something for all kinds of museum enthusiasts. Head in to see preserved birds, insects and animal specimens, vintage cameras, typewriters, cash registers, clothes and the list goes on. It's a building that captures the good old days where living was simple.

Great place, lots of interesting stuff and for only $5!!! Definitiely worth a visit if you're in the mountains. Lovely staff too.

Highly recommended. A varied and curious collection that does a great job of informing and evoking. I'd been to the Blue Mountains a few times already upon my first visit, yet learned lots about the area and its history. Staffed by passionate volunteers, and right beside the railway station, it's convenient, interesting, and worth your support.

Interesting & engaging, so much to see from early steam train history to Taxidermy (check out the Cassowary!) ... $5 well spent.

Our lovely museum is a great place to explore in Mount Victoria. There are all sorts of fun, weird and whacky things including taxidermy, bottled specimens, ploughs, vintage cameras, switch board (?), clothing and more. It is so charming and fun. Be sure to take a look when it's open.

I wish that all communities could have a great way like this of maintaining a strong link with the early settlers, the fashion and live style.. sometimes reflecting on the tough times. Run by volunteers.. community people.. Well done.. a important place to stop at.. a destination. If you come by car park it.. (or train for that matter)... and go for a stroll down the steps and north long side the older homes..up the hill to the very old (was once a pub) guest house.. though the park to the GWH.. then down Station Street towards the railway station.. some neat shops and cafes along way back to the station.
