I don’t even know where to start, but here we go.
This review is for the ski operations, not the resort itself.
This was my second time there, and it was easily the worst experience I’ve ever had. Absolutely not worth the money.
The staff are mostly teenagers who act like they’re being forced to work there. The guy who handed me my boots didn’t even bother helping me put them on while helping everyone else around me.
I had a 10:30 AM reservation, and the moment you walk in you hit a huge line just to get boots, about 40 minutes. Then the lockers didn’t work, even after I paid $10. I had to ask two different staff members just to get one to open. The whole area was filthy, trash and food on the floor, and people blocking every walkway with their stuff. Total chaos.
After all that, you’d think getting the skis would be quick. Nope. Another 30 to 40 minute line outside in the cold with boots hurting your feet. And once you finally get the skis? Another massive line for the lift.
By the time I actually got to ski, it was 1:20 PM. Nearly three hours after my reservation. Yes, three hours just to get started.
The food hall was packed with almost no available tables.
To make things worse, there were no poles available for me to use. How does a ski facility run out of poles?
I tried giving this place a second chance, thinking last year was a fluke. It wasn’t.
Last year, I even lost $238 because I bought the wrong tickets and customer service refused to help in any way, not a reschedule, not a credit, nothing.
Honestly, I’m glad some people seem to enjoy this place, but after two awful experiences, I don’t think I can give it a third chance.
If you have your own equipment, maybe your experience will be different. The mountain and slopes themselves are actually nice. But if you rely on their rentals, prepare for a nightmare.
