Mountain Hound Inn

This place is totally reasonable for the one night we stayed. It's not much to look at, doesn't have great views, and the hallway has a bit of a smell. But the price is very reasonable, the room was clean, and the bed comfy enough for one night. The location is also awesome being right downtown. If you are looking for luxury, look somewhere else. But if your looking for a deal, clean room, great location, and comfortable stay, this place is great. Note that you may need to pay for parking. We got in late Saturday night so we didn't have to pay and there was parking out front.

My wife and I have stayed there several times over the last few years. It's quiet, clean and uncluttered. There is no parking on-site during the day, but we're always off doing something from 9-5, so it doesn't matter. Also note that all rooms require you to climb stairs to get to them - there is no elevator.

Good price, great beds, and totally quiet due to the cinderblock walls. The bathroom is the worst part with the small counters and soap dispenser. And parking is not included. Overall, perfect for a good night's sleep.

It was OK, small room, very small television, bathroom needed new silicone around the tub. But the bed was comfortable, sheets and towels clean, all that I really needed for a quick overnight trip. Not a place I'd take my wife on a trip, but adequate.

A simple place to stay. Has what you need for the time you might be staying. Room was of adequate size. Beds were pretty comfortable. Was lacking fridge, microwave, and iron. Bathroom was clean. Ac was working. No free parking after 9AM, paid street parking. Great location, right by all the restaurants and shopping. Would stay again when back here.

Not family friendly: First the picture does not show the area of town , no coffee in rooms (how am I to survive), and was not told the back alley is the go between for bars.Very loud outside in the night. Also was upset to find I could have gotten the room cheaper at the hotel then on line. The place was clean and inside was quiet

Location is fine as it's a small town really! Very simple accommodation that does exactly what it says on the wrapper. It can be a bit loud at times but represents solid value for money and has all basic amenities you would expect.

Cool little place for a great price. Not super high class but perfect for a couple low maintenance people. Everything was clean and nice. TV was very small we didn't even turn it on. But overall great stay. Small brekky too. Should give vouchers for a street restaurant.
