Mountain Oasis (Ecolodges) Resort

Amazing view if not raining season. Breakfast is just fine. Room is clean. Hot water is perfect. Rate as 5 stars because of this amount of service at this kind of remote area.

I have been staying both here in Mindat Mountain Oasis and in Kanpetlet every year since 2009. Basic accomodation but very comfortable and clean with a seperate bathroom. The rooms are serviced every day and the young Chin who work there are committed to looking after both the rooms and the guests. My wife Jan and a young friend from France came with me in 2012. I have friends in Mindat town who tell me I would be better staying at a hotel or Guest House in or closer to the town. However I prefer to stay out at the Mountain Oasis Resort which is only a ten minute drive to town. The owners and staff treat me so well I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
