Mountain Plaza Hotel (zuvor: Sunstar Hotel Davos)

Overall I was very disappointed, the hotel does not keep its promises and in my opinion it has nothing to do with four stars. The old classic rooms are a disaster and completely worn out. I then rebooked a room that had been renovated, which was actually okay, but had a completely pointless seating area where there would have been room for a comfortable sofa. The television is tiny. Housekeeping is really good. At breakfast, the only thing that was good was the bread. The rest was not worth mentioning and would never have been a four star hotel. The staff at breakfast was neither friendly nor interested and mostly just stood around. Although there were almost no people there, the tables were not cleaned properly. NO 4 Star and definitely overpriced.

Excellent hotel with stylishly designed rooms, kind and helpful staff, rich breakfast. For the package price, you get breakfast, excellent wellness, ski bus to and from the cable car and even a ski pass at a very favorable price. Location in the very center. Great holiday.

This hotel has deteriorated significantly since it changed hands. |The quality and choice of food is significantly worse both at breakfast and dinner. Also, the staff are much less service oriented and give the impression of not caring less. |When this hotel was run by Sun Star this was a brilliant hotel where everyone went out of there way to ensure perfection but this is no longer the case. The new operator appears to be much more interested in hiking prices and reducing costs. Overall, very disappointing and a shadow of its former self.

Very nice hotel! The breakfast is nicely done and service is great. Rooms are well appointed and newly renovated. The ski shuttle was a great surprise. Being able to take a van right from the hotel to the lift was perfect. I will definitely stay again in the future.

I Spent 7 nights on my ski trip but have stayed here several times before. The staff looked after me a single traveler very well indeed. Everywhere was clean and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I will come again next year if thew snow is good. There was ample food and lots of variety

Had a great team weekend at this hotel. Breakfast selection was great. The hotel is very central and has a lovely pool/fitness centre/spa on site. Highly recommend the reflexology foot massage by Petru. On site ski shop was also a great convenience. Will definitely return in the future.

Nice hotel. Staff is very friendly. We had a spacious and clean room. Nice swimming pool. Walking distance to the city center. Enough (paid) parking lots. Breakfast was delicious. Nice views from our room. Free minibar.

The rooms were very clean and generous, with a nice mini bar it‘s impossible to ever get thirsty;-). The wellness was pretty big with different Sauna‘s, a pool and nice areas to relax. Dinner and most of all the breakfast were the highlights! There‘s really nothing missing at the breakfast to perfectly start into the day… all in all a great experience in Davos!
