Stayed for a night while on a road trip, and would have loved to stay longer. I think our room Moose’s Nook is their smallest; but was plenty big enough for us, despite a wonderful huge bed (it was like sleeping on a cloud). Somewhat isolated but a convenient stop just off HWY16A. Curtis & Claudia were friendly and helpful hosts. They advised in advance to bring food - the room was well equipped for self-catering, including a proper kettle essential for tea drinking English travellers! But we had stocked up with excellent Canadian wine & cheese and simply spent a wonderful relaxing evening sat on the porch watching the light change on Mt Robson as the sun gradually set. The surrounding scenery is truly glorious. The mountains, the forest and the rushing river down below. I am told there is good hiking all around, but we were happy just to sit, relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The wildlife was all great to watch; but the migrating hummingbirds stole the show, with their iridescent colours these tiny birds were entrancing. Apparently we were there at just the right time of year - lucky us. I have no hesitation in recommending this hidden gem.
