Mountain Top Grill is absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, everything about our experience was top-notch. The food was wonderful—each dish prepared perfectly and full of flavor. The service was outstanding, with a staff that went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. The atmosphere and ambience are excellent, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal with a beautiful setting. And I have to mention the mushroom soup—it was to die for! Rich, savory, and truly unforgettable. Abby did an excellent job and making us feel welcome If you’re in the area, Mountain Top Grill is a must-visit. I can’t recommend it enough!

We were very happy with our recent experience at Mountain Top Grill. We were a party of 4 celebrating my parents' anniversary and had great service and really good food. We loved the venison tenderloin and the truffle chicken tortellini. The wrap and flatbread were just ok, but not bad by any means. We were even treated to a special dessert since we were celebrating, which was very unexpected and generous. The cheesecake was huge and we all remarked on how good it was. We booked a reservation after seeing good reviews and mention of the great views. We were not disappointed in either. I'd highly recommend booking a table around sunset to enjoy the beautiful views at their best.

I reserved this place because of the scenery talk. VEEEERY NICE log cabin restaurant/ bar/ golf place with AMAZING views of 5 different ⛳️ courses which are surrounded by waterfalls, ⛰️s & just serenity. While inside you have an amazing wood burning fireplace & downstairs has a pool table, tvs, bar & rest rooms that are 👌! Now, although everything was perfect as said above, it was veery pricey & I had mentioned that we were celebrating birthdays when filling out reservations online since they asked if it was a special occasion. . . Nothing was said or brought up about my 5 yr olds birthday or mine. Other than that, the views are worth the visit as well as I'd imagine the ⛳️ for sure!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We popped in today after church for Sunday lunch and had such a wonderful experience! Our waiter, Robert, was attentive, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable about my severe food allergy (Alpha Gal). I always share my allergy card when dining out, and Robert immediately listened and reassured me—explaining that a co-worker of his also has Alpha Gal, so he has been well trained in preventing cross-contamination. That gave me such peace of mind. I ordered my usual “safe” option, while my husband and son ordered different dishes, and everything came out fresh, with generous portions, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was welcoming, but what stood out most was the exceptional service. We will definitely be back! Knowing that food allergies are taken seriously here—while also serving amazing food—makes it worth the drive.

Our server, Helena, made the evening truly special. She was strikingly beautiful and carried herself with such grace, but what impressed me most was the quality of her service. She anticipated every need with perfect timing, making the experience feel effortless and personal. From her warm attentiveness to the way she guided us through the evening, it felt like she was taking care of us on a level beyond expectation. The food was excellent, but her presence and care are what made the night unforgettable, and what I'll be coming back for and are why we only dined at this restaurant for the duration of our trip.

We were very happy to go there with friends for the first time.We highly recommend the Ahi tuna, the flatbreads, and the mushroom soup. It was a perfect day for being served outdoors, which was our choice. Beautiful panoramic view of the golf course below!

We’ve gone to Big Cedar for many years and tried many of their on-property restaurants as they offer a good variety. As a change of pace on this trip, we decided to try someplace new and had heard that there was a nice restaurant up in the “new” Branson golf area. Finding this restaurant, was a bit of a challenge for us as once we entered the gate, there are several road options with no signage. Basically, go straight ahead like your heading for the Branson airport. Anyway, it’s worth the effort as the scenery scores a 5+, the restaurant is very nice, and the food was excellent. The building is very cool and we enjoyed the atmosphere even more than Top of the Rock, as the views are incredible overlooking multiple golf courses. Don’t leave before going downstairs and checking out the paintings and rest of the building including the restroom to get the full experience. Also, ask the golf cart driver to show you a close up view from the edge of the parking lot, if he can.

Yelp
Food was terrible. Mushroom and bacon soup was flavorless but also tasted like powdered milk. Chili was runny and had almost no bison. Server was surly and made many mistakes on our order and had to be told items were missing after the food for our table of 6."

Yelp
Pros: beautiful views. Fair breakfast burrito. Packaged picante sauce. Good fruit. Cons: fruit attracted wasps. We had to abandon our food and leave. Employees were slow to check us out. We couldn't practice before our round because of slow check out. And the guy knew we had a tee time coming up. Bathrooms downstairs.

Yelp
Doug long time customer The place is beautiful and has a great ambiance. The service is great, too. The food selection is okay, but the food quality is average at best , and the food pricing is extremely out of line with the quality. Johnny Morris can do better here and at Anglers restaurant. Food pricing has just gotten too high! Everything else is good. Please have someone look into this . Thank you.

Yelp
We frequently visit Mountain Top for Breakfast! With spectacular views and amazing ! The food is always amazing and we are always greeted with a smile and sometimes a hug from Sheila! Amanda is always amazing and one of our favorite bartenders in town, Lance knows, how to make a bloody Mary! If you're looking for a suggestion, try the breakfast burrito our go to, (we miss the toast) but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Yelp
This was a great spot to have lunch! It was a little pricey for the type of food but that's to be expected by the location. Would eat here again.

Yelp
A great experience in a gorgeous setting with delicious food. The drive up presents a beautiful view of the golf courses and Ozark mountains. This is the same road that will take you to the Branson airport. The golf cart ladies were delightful taking us up and down from the parking lot to the restaurant. One of them made the extra effort to show us the bison down on the golf course. The restaurant was busy and obviously short-handed which is common all over the greater Branson area. Our waitress arrived as quickly as possible and was very friendly while providing excellent service. The Reuben sandwich was the best Reuben I've ever eaten. It is big enough for two meals. The price was reasonable for the quality and size. This restaurant location has a view like no other. Dress is casual. Decor is comfortable just like all other Bass Pro/Big Cedar/Top of the Rock resorts.

Yelp
We checked in and it took them awhile to get our table ready even though there were a lot of tables open. The service could have been better it wasn't the best of best considering the price. The food tasted ok but it could have been better since they were charging basically $20 for a burger. Don't get me started on the price of one of the wine bottles on the menu, no joke it was $235 for a single bottle. It did have a really nice location maybe a little remote and I did like that there was a golf course right by it really fun!

Yelp
My family has been a huge fan of this unique restaurant for the past few years. We've taken friends and relatives there to show them the incredible views along with the rustic restaurant and it's good food. Over the past few months, prices have continued to rise exponentially until our last visit was enough to finally make me say "Uncle." Times are tough and I want people to make a good income but they are now on par, price wise, with many of the best restaurants in the area - and for what is mostly casual fare. On our last visit I ordered the hamburger and fries which set me back $25 + tax and tip. Double that with 2 people and you have a $60 lunch. Perhaps that is OK with golfers who are dropping 3-4 big ones per round or corporate expense accounts, but the value is no longer there for us. we might be back but it will no longer be each month. I'm hoping someone comes to their senses and realigns the menu prices with the real world.

Yelp
We were in town for a jr golf event and stopped in for lunch one day around 11:30. First off the views are spectacular! The food was really good! We went to 10 different places to eat while visiting Branson and this is one of the best !! The mediterranean grilled cheese with fries was outstanding! Generous portions! Chips n Dips Appetizer with Guacamole, Pico, and Queso was good. Service was top notch. Dont be put off that this is at a golf course . Its a public course and the restaurant is open to the public. Lunch is super casual. Dinner casual for sure. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
Sadly we didn't have the best experience. I constantly had to get our waitresses attention. My chicken sandwich was missing pimento cheese but sadly our waitress didn't check on us once. My husbands patty melt was a bit bland. She forgot to bring my husbands beer. Again we had to flag her down. Killer margaritas! Yay bartender! Great golfing but sadly the restaurant was a bust for us.

Yelp
Very delicious "Country cooking". Service was great, ambiance is a "Country Cafe" plenty of tables and booths. Open parking in front. Prices are comparable to most small diners or cafes.

Yelp
The location is great, the views are incredible. The menu is quite limited for those who do not want seafood however. I really think the menu could be expanded quite a bit and give a lot more options. The outdoor dining is wonderful, but if it is windy do NOT go out there. Your hair will fly in your face and you wont be able to enjoy your meal. Hence, the 3 star review. The waiter thought we would be just fine out there on a windy evening, he was wrong. I fought my hair all evening instead of asking for us to be seated indoors, my mistake. The chicken soup was just ok, nothing great. I also tried the patty melt, but it was less than flavorful. My husband had seafood. The scallops were good, but he said the odd looking orange noodles were not very tasty. They do give you a ride from the parking lot up to the restaurant which is necessary, it has a very steep driveway. Walking down is not too bad. The car drive out to the restaurant is also enjoyable. It is more about atmosphere and views here than food. People playing corn hole and golf on the course below to watch while eating. It can be distracting if you are looking for a romantic atmosphere. Just be sure to eat indoors if that's what your going for. The staff is wonderfully attentive and friendly. Worth the drive for the experience and views. We will probably go back!
