The location, with its stunning mountain views, llamas, and peaceful ambiance, is easily 5 stars. However, the service is unfortunately 1 star.
I booked a cabin with an outdoor hot tub, which we were excited to use, but it ended up being a major disappointment. It took over an hour to fill, and when we finally checked, the water was only room temperature—not hot at all. The bubbles weren’t working either, which seemed to be an issue with some switches not being turned on. To make matters worse, I had to shower with cold water due to the same problem.
It took 40 minutes for reception to respond to our inquiry about the hot tub, and by the time they sent someone after 10:00 p.m., it was too late for us to drain and refill it. While they quickly turned on the switches, the experience was already ruined.
Another downside was overpriced food. The food is good but, about 40% higher than similar-quality meals in Cusco, with no alternative dining options nearby, leaving you no choice but to eat at the accommodation.
In my opinion, this reflects poor management and a lack of proper hospitality training. It's unfortunate because the setting is beautiful, but the service and overall experience need significant improvement.
