We truly loved our stay at Mountain View experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were helpful and went above and beyond to make sure that they knew us by name and that we were comfortable throughout our stay. This must be one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. We thoroughly enjoyed our picnic lunch, the breakfast that was included was substantial and healthy, and our room had everything we needed. I we also went horseback riding, which was beautiful and did the hot tub experience with llamas. I would absolutely recommend everyone stays.

We arrived as walk-ins at Mountain View Experience and were treated very kindly from the start. The signature drinks are excellent, and the passion fruit sour is absolutely epic. The food was excellent as well, though it’s honestly hard for any dish to compete with the incredible mountain views that surround you. My wife has stayed before in the A-frames, and she’s had a great experience—this place offers fantastic packages with activities like ATVs, picnics, and more, making it ideal for both day visitors and overnight stays. A special thank-you to Rodrigo, who was so kind and even gave us corn husks so we could feed their resident alpacas and llamas—a truly memorable experience. If I could make just one suggestion, it would be to offer a “cocktail with the llamas” experience—because honestly, that would be unbeatable. 🍸🦙 Great hospitality, great drinks, great food, and unforgettable scenery.

Yes! This was an unconventional stay and so much fun! Great staff. Amazing food. Beautiful view of the Andes mountains. Fun activities. Wearing the poncho and hat was very practical. What else? I loved the llama experience. Even nature cooperated… Last night thrilled with the loudest thunder, and brightest flash of lightning that I have ever seen.

This place is amazing, the view, the location, the rooms. I’d suggest you get a premium as the small cabins can feel very small even for two people, and no heating system for the small cabins. Only be aware that the pricing at the restaurant is American pricing. Otherwise we loved our stay and the staff there is amazing and kind.

We really enjoyed all of the animals - that is what made it what it is. It is a really great business idea. The guys who helped us with the luggage and the guy who started our fire was great. The animals were so lovely and well taken care of which is really important to me. The ambience and design of the buildings was really cool. However, the service could really be improved as we found it very inconsistent. Some of the servers were extremely slow when we were one of the only people in the restaraunt. The morning we left for the airport we gave ourselves half an hour for breakfast but we waited forever for our milk for our coffee and then flagged down another server who brought it within two minutes. Then we waited such a long time for our breakfast that we had to leave without breakfast which is unfortunate because of how much it costs to stay there. I would expect the service to be a lot better given the price point. But overall we had a good experience with the animals.

This was a wonderful experience! The hotel had incredible views and really great service. We staying in the A-frame with the hot tub. The restaurant on site was an A++ for us. The food was delicious - the best we had on our entire trip. What to know before you go: - The Hot-tubs are only big “bathtubs”, so the water doesn’t stay heated. It’s a short soak if the weather is cool. It also takes all of the hot water for the cabin to fill the tub, so plan your shower accordingly. - There is no wifi in the cabins, only the main lobby. But, the lobby is comfortable and the WiFi is good. - There is a fire pit outside the room and a fire place they can light to keep you warm. There’s not heat or AC otherwise, but the cabin was nice. - The Llama experience is only during certain times of day. Be sure to contact the hotel to make sure you arrive early enough for the hot tub llama experience.

Beautiful place with really cool vibes. The food was pretty good as well. Recommend avoiding the trucha as it was a bit fishy but drinks were great as was the curry! The curry was one of the best dishes we had in Peru. SO many llamas and a wonderful ATV tour, highly recommend their guide. This place is extremely close to the salt mines which are a must-do as well. Next time we’ll be staying here for the views and vibes for sure!

I absolutely loved my stay here. I originally booked the smaller room but somehow got a free upgrade to a hot tub chalet upon arrival which was amazing. I really noticed and appreciated the small details in the room, for example the salt lamp and the lighting in the shower. The views are incredible, the food is delicious and the whole atmosphere is just impeccable. Shout out to the lady on reception with the curly hair - I didn’t catch her name but her energy was great and she made me feel very at ease. I hope to return soon! 💖
