Mountain View Hotel Lalibela

Amazing view, very friendly staff that decorated our rooms and meals with plenty of fresh flowers.|Very good breakfast. ||The most beautiful stary night sky admire from this hotel. ||Great architecture of the hotel with extraordinar views to the greenish valley.|The hotel us harmonious integrated into the landscape.||The hotel îs not far away from the Unesco gems of the Lalibela Churches and from a shopping area ( downtown Lalibela). ||We felt very safe în Lalibela and we enjoyed a great and unique visit.

This hotel is situated in a really amazing location overlooking the entire mountain and valley vista of Lalibela. It is also walking distance to local shops and restaurants. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, it was in a pit of disrepair when we stayed there. This might be because they were closed for a few months due to the regional war that recently subsided. Once they get back up on their feet, this will be a truly great place for a few nights rest when exploring Lalibela.

This hotel has a great view as is written in the other reviews, but that is probably the only good thing about this hotel. Other few hotels just next door have the same view as well. I know this hotel looks good in the pictures, but the reality is a bit different. The hotel is not isolated as it might seem in the pictures, there are few hotels just next door with similar view. However, the hotel is in a quiet area which is nice, I have to say.||We stayed here 2 nights and experienced poor service. The rooms are a bit tired, the cleanliness is O.K., nice balcony, but the bathroom is really very basic, not very clean and tired too. The pressure of water is zero when your neighbor in next room is having a shower. So imagine that you are standing soaped in a shower and suddenly there is no water that you can wash with and you have to wait next 10 minutes while somebody else in other room will finish his shower. Really „funny“.||The breakfast is a joke. Not even simple. Some coffee that you might wait for 15 minutes and scrambled eggs plus some not fresh brad (probably from previous days).||There are definitely better options in Lalibela than this hotel.

Nice hotel stay for a night or two. As well as an amazing balcony view from my room. Standard amenities by the way. The sliding door in my room would not lock. Walking at night throughout the town may not be good because of extreme darkness.

Mountain View hotel says it all in the name. They have a Beautiful Mountain View from a deck designed to view a 360 degree of the breathtaking mountains at round. We went twice once for dinner and early morning to have our morning coffee and breakfast. Food was nice and staff were very friendly. I highly recommend for someone who visit Lalibela to check Mountain View. I didn’t stay at this hotel so I can not review the hotel rooms.

This is a beautiful building with a gorgeous view. The staff was all really nice. The room itself was a bit run down, we had to ask for toilet paper and the shower could only get too hot or too cold. But it was comfortable and the balcony was large with a great view. The wifi did not work the entire time we were there, which is rough when you're relying on it for any communication with guides, etc.

Definitely one of the most beautiful hotel in which we had been. Friendly reception staff. Very very beautiful room, large and modern with an amazing view. All are clean and comfortable. It has a restaurant that offered a good menu at fair prices.

We enjoyed mountain view. All the facilities were amazing, staff was very cooperative. Location of the hotel is very nice, it was near to rock hewn churches. It has nice view. Food was all good specially the stake...yummy. it's best for family
