Affordable clean rooms. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Really enjoyed having an on site restaurant. Great food and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed my time here, nice people and settings in the heart of the mountains (1810m). Rooms were nice and clean and I loved the decor with wooden tables and chairs that give the whole room a warm feeling. I slept like a baby so massive thumbs up from me! Only thing I should mention there’s no way to stop the water from draining in the tub in room 109 so I had to get creative ha.

I’m not sure how I feel about this place? The staff is AMAZING. Night check in (Evan?) was so helpful and friendly. Check out was very kind. The rooms are beautiful. The lighting fixtures were so nice! The bed was comfortable. The bath tubs in 218 is disgusting. Ot should be replaced. It still needs to be cleaned correctly though! It needs hard water remover or vinegar to make it look clean. I started to run a bath but hair came back up at me! I couldn’t get in it. The microwave didn’t heat. The pool had no lights so we didn’t get to use the hot tub. We stayed there for this reason 😢 The coffee bar was empty the first time I went to the lobby. (No coffee pots in the rooms) The second time I came down there was plenty but the vanilla creamer was out and the lids didn’t fit the cups. This place is hard to rate. I liked the staff but my standards for my stay was much higher than I received

What a dump. Toilet wouldn't flush. Trash can was full when we checked in. Room was filthy. I checked to see if there was a different room available, they said there weren't any (motel did appear to be full). Beds were great, if you like concave mattresses. The two idiot kids above us played soccer (indoors) until a little after midnight. Don't waste your money. I would have been better off sleeping in my car. Stay somewhere else.

AWESOME! This room was very clean and beds???? Soooooooooooooo comfortable! My sister and I stayed here for Memorial Day weekend. 3 nights on expedia less than $200. Don't let the fact the rooms are inexpensive make you think this is less than. This is a nice Best Western type motel with awesome beds and good coffee. Fridge and microwave are in room and coffee pots to come soon. Book with confidence and enjoy your stay.

Parowan is a nice little town. I loved staying here. It was quiet and just off the freeway. The hotel was nice. All the employees we had contact with were nice and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a okay place given the low rate I paid, 2 rooms were less than $100. Beds were okay. No hair dryer, there were dispensers for soap, conditioner and shampoo but they didn’t work. No clock or cups. One of the rooms didn’t have toilet paper, luckily we got supposedly their last roll. ???

Very clean, very comfortable bed, best hotel pillows I’ve ever slept on. Has an on-site restaurant that is ridiculously inexpensive and a nice pool and hot-tub. For the money, just stay there.

We stayed here twice while travelling between Colorado and California over a week's time and were impressed. It's in a quiet town just off I-15 with an attached restaurant called Paco's. There is an inside pool in a separate building on the property, but we didn't visit it. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. All the staff we dealt with were extremely friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is that the AC/heater units are older (and very noisy). The attached restaurant had decent, mom and pop style food for unbelievable prices (full roast beef dinner for $12)! The market across the street had great prices too. We didn't have much time to explore Parowan, but did take the short drive from town to see the petroglyphs and dinosaur tracks in Parowan Gap. Very pleased with our stay here.

Terrible. No tv. No internet. No continental breakfast. Overpriced for the amenities they offer. I would not recommend this motel to anyone!

For the price....it's very good. Lovely friendly staff, much better room quality than we expected, nice decor, comfy beds, fridge, microwave and coffee maker, dog friendly but look out for thorns in doggy paws (burr briars)....the walls & floors are thin, so take your earplugs. Great location with friendly informative locals. Highly recommend.

What a great find and at an affordable price. We were planning to stay in Cedar City but the town was very booked up for the night we needed. This little gem of a place popped up as an option and since we were snowboarding at Brianhead that day, it was actually much more convenient for us. Everything about this place was perfect, right down to the detail in the room. The only thing we skipped using was the pool/spa because it is indoor and the chlorine smell was quiet strong. We opted to enjoy the comfort of the room instead. Beds - Clean, perfect combination of firm/soft, nice bedding, and unique pillows with pictures of the local area printed on them. Room - Clean and surprising spacious with nice wood furniture and plants. Bathroom - Typical but clean and had the amenities we needed. Breakfast - Fun restaurant decor and food options were great. I loved the simplicity of the fruit yet it was presented nicely. Check-in/out - Easy and pleasant. For any future trips out this way, I will definitely be happy to stay here again. Oh, and the town is so cute. It was easy to walk to some nearby restaurants if you want although they have a Chinese Restaurant on site.

Its rare for me to do updates but this one was a must. After visiting last weekend and reading my last review, a few things had changed. Pros: -They made some colorful upgrades to the rooms since the last time I visited. -Their Chinese restaurant is still up and running for some last minute grub before 9pm. -Dine-in breakfast is currently being offered. -Heater worked great! Cons: -Water temp was constantly shifting during our showers. It was all fun and games listening to everyone scream until you're the one getting burned by scorching water. -Beds were definitely more stiff than I last remembered. It didnt help from all the shredding on the mountain either. -Stains were found on the pillow sheets but more importantly, they were comfortable. -Stains were also found on some of the towels as well. Overall, a great stay for the price. Keep up the great work!

Exotic interior is pretty and staffs are friendly. Parking is easy-to-use. But one thing was bugging me a lot- not clean bed sheet and towels.

So pleased in every way with the accommodations at Mountain View. From my initial phone call Sammy made it so easy to book our room & trust that we would be well taken care of. The rooms are very clean, warm & comfortable. The entire staff is so friendly & kind you feel you're right at home. They are so helpful & even allowed us to charge our electric vehicle which makes our stay so much easier, you can tell that the management really cares about their guests comfort. The complimentary breakfast is truly delicious-everyone is so satisfied heading out to the slopes after breakfast. We have also eaten dinner at Mountain View which is Chinese cuisine and could not have been happier with the dishes we ordered. Mountain View really has all the accommodations we could need at 1 place. Thank you for making our trip to Utah so great we will definitely be returning!

This place is wonderful. We got a beautiful room with two queen beds for $70. This place has great vibes, the instant you walk in it's obvious that someone put real love and care into the decor and the service here. It's the size you'd expect from a $70 room but a lot better looking. Everything was clean, and the aesthetic was so much more interesting than most hotels. Definitely had the feel of a family owned business. The breakfast was also the same things that you'd expect; potatoes, sausage, eggs, fruit etc. But they were all very well prepared. I was amazed by how crispy the potatoes were. There's also a restaurant here, the Mountain Bistro. We didn't get to try it because it doesn't open until 11; but I hope to try it next time we're passing through.

The room was cute and quaint. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Things were clean. My two main complaints were the shower head which was crappy and the water changed to freezing cold once to boiling hot 2-3 times during my 10 minute shower. The other thing is the advertised breakfast. As a family of 4 this was super important to us. After being on the road for a long time and eating a bunch of junk food snacks. Booking a hotel with breakfast is important to us. But when we got there they said they weren't doing it. So going out to eat adds another $30 to our tab that we were expecting to be part of our hotel price. Especially in the middle of nowhere there really wasn't a ton of other options. Point I'm making is follow through with what you advertise. Also nobody was there for check out. Front was all locked up and people were just leaving their room keys between the doors. No note was left. Just pretty unprofessional. Meh, would probably pass on this place next time.

Mountain view lodge has the sweetest owner. This place was small but clean and have complimentary breakfast from 6-9am. (sausage, potatoes, eggs, waffles, juice, coffee) also was only 20mins away from Brian head resort. and an hour away from Bryce canyon. for me I don't ask for much from a hotel. a clean place to sleep because I won't be in the room most of the time is good enough for me. and they have free food! win win for me (: for me as a traveler I rather spend my money on activities and food rather than the place i sleep in. everyone has different preferences of what's their priority in a trip. this is just mine. so if you are high maintenance then this place is not for you. Lol. but for me, i rather support small family business over chains businesses.

Beautiful little town of Parowan with friendly helpful folks. The town is bedded down in the foothills of ski slopes and fishing holes nearby. So the Mountain View Lodge was a great choice for end of my driving day. Also a Chinese Bistro is part of the hotel as the Asian theme and design are part of their ambiance. I noticed they do use old wood to make the cabinet doors and tops of the chairs in the hotel room. Very cleaver and eco friendly. They had a plaque that describes where the wood came from that adds a nice touch with woodie but Asian flare. The hotel is clean and simple. They even offer rags for your taken as they are strong believes in recycling and found them on the bathroom counter in the room. Very nice room and clean with all the necessities such as body lotion, make-up remover pads, face wash soap, shampoo and cream rinse. Also small coffee pot, hair dryer, small fridge and microwave. I heard their breakfast is amazing with scrambled eggs, waffle, sausage links, toast, cereal, coffee which is a pretty good selection. I selected the waffle and scrambled eggs along with coffee. Each very good but nothing special just what I needed to start my day off. I would recommend this hotel in this charming small town in Utah. BAM!

Room was spectacular. Clean and very well decorated. Loved the tables outside to take advantage of the end Of a beautiful day. Traveling with a dog and the $10 for the pet was about average.

This little place was great and the staff were very professional. The room was clean and very neatly decorated. The restaurant was nice with good food. The staff was good in that they said they put us in a certain room as there were construction workers two rooms over and they thought they might get loud. Excellent service

Stayed on Friday night. Room is clean and comfortable. Beds are the right softness. Comes with fridge and microwave. The Chinese restaurant on the premises is very good. Comp breakfast is great!. Very cheap too. Recommended +++

This is the best kept secret close to Brianhead ski resort! The rooms are beautiful, the bathrooms are nice and clean, AND, the beds are plush, soft and comfortable! The continental breakfast is served as a sit down in a very nice Asian restaurant!! My wife and I love this place!!

I loved this place close to Brian head. Nice pool and hot tub! Super friendly stuff serving breakfast in the morning! We didn't eat at the restaurant there but we went across the street to the pizza shop which was delicious!

Love the hospitality of the staff and location near Brian head ski resort. The place is clean and the beds are comfortable. We took advantage of the indoor pool and hot tub after a day of snowboarding. We didn't eat at the restaurant but had walked over to the pizza joint next door which was also a must try. We will definitely stay here again.

Very good and tasty food, friendly waiters, also good and clean hotel. I would definitely recommend this place. We both ordered a combo deal from the menu and it was enough food for at least two days. Good price as well

We ended up here because of a terrible snow storm. It was very clean and comfortable. We were impressed with the amenities and beautiful décor. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and the staff friendly. This is a central Utah hidden treasure.

Very wonderful place to rest after a icy road drive down highway 14 (Thank you duelie truck take lead) from Bryce Canyon & watch out for Flock Wild Turkey's. Just keep driving alittle off I15 it will be on your right. Great Rate ( double everywhere else) remoded Chinese themed rooms with Fridge & Microwave. My 10 year old was excited for indoor pool. Wonderful free Breakfest 6:30-9am served from Bistro (Scrambled eggs ,sausage, potatos, waffle, & mixed fruits) Great Customer service from the staff. Totally stay here for next visit for Kanab Cowboy Fest. What a great inn. My husband and I are taking our kids to Yellowstone and needed a place stay for the night. We booked this inn a few months in advance and didn't no what to expect when we got here. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and spacious. All the amenities were in working order and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. I am a stickler about hotels/inns and their mini fridges and this one worked really well. I was able to re-freeze my ice packs for the kids lunchboxes! It's the little things. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The inn itself the details were just brilliant. I loved the decor. It not only flowed well throughout the office/restaurant but was replicated in the rooms as well. We were too tired to eat dinner at the restaurant (which is unfortunate because the star rating is impressive), however, we were able to eat the complimentary breakfast. It's a small selection, but definitely delicious. You have a choice of sausage, eggs, potatoes (excellent), waffle (crispy) and (white) toast and cereal. They also have fresh fruit. Today was banana and oranges (very good, nice and cold). Drinks consist of milk, apple/orange juice and coffee. The only negative I can think of is that there isn't an ice machine or vending machine. My children were really thirsty and I couldn't provide them with anything to drink. The market directly across the street closes at 8:00. So make sure you stop before you settle in. Overall I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area. We would definitely stay again.

We tried this hotel for the first time. Price were very reasonable ($74 ). The front desk was super nice and helpful. We did check in in few minutes and went directly to our room. Room was clean and the room was definitely nicer than expected. They have a chinese restaurant in house and the food was great as well. Went to the front desk around midnight to buy water and the guy gave me two bottles for free. Overall the total experience for a two stars hotel was great and very welcoming. We will definitely keep this hotel in mind

My family and I found this place on a whim while traveling cross country. The place is beautiful and was remodeled well. We arrived late and worried on where to eat. Luckily they have a great Chinese restaurant inside that stayed open late for us. Then the breakfast made it the extra price totally worth it. We were looking at generic chain motels and so glad we found this place.

It is not a 5 star hotel, but it is a great place to rest your head. The rooms are clean. The staff is very accommodating and extremely friendly. The beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows. Everything works in the room. And free WiFi too.

This place is great for an inexpensive place to rest your head for the night as you check out the local attractions or stop for the night while traveling along the I-15. The restaurant is good and conveniently close. The complimentary breakfast is a steal. Beats the free breakfasts at quality inn or similar. The staff is super nice too.

Stayed here with my boyfriend to go skiing in brian head the next day. I was not expecting much for a 2 star hotel, but it actually turned out to be quite nice. We were received with great hospitality, the rooms were clean, beds comfy, showers had good water pressure, and there was a nice Chinese restaurant inside the hotel as well. We slept comfortably without any disturbances. I'm a light sleeper and wake up easily if it's too noisy from outside street noise or adjacent neighbors but we did not experience this here. We would definitely stay here again.

This is such a nice hotel! It was so clean and quant. Fine details in the bedding, towels, decor & light fixtures. Just a gem of a place. Breakfast is included for the super low nightly rate. The restaurant offers excellent lunch and dinner options. Some of the best Chinese food we have ever eaten and we have traveled extensively and eaten at many Chinese establishments. We were bragging to the owner and he told us that there are 3 cooks all from different parts of China that fuse their unique cooking methods together, everything is made fresh when you order. They have renovated this hotel and a few areas are still a work in progress, but you don't have to worry about that affecting your stay. If this hotel were in a busy area, there is no doubt that the rooms would cost $250 per night. Take advantage of the low rates and treat yourself to staying here!

Great location as it is only 20 minutes from Brian Head and at a lower elevation so don't have to worry about altitude sickness. Nice pool and hot tub. Call direct to make a reservation as there's a bit of flexibility (we were able to check out 1 day early). Clean and spacious. Breakfast included which starts at 6:30 am. Would definitely stay there again when we visit Brian Head next time.

Nice place with very reasonable rates! All updated and the hotel staff and very kind and accommodating. Recommend the top floor because you can hear people walking. Lastly they have ash trays next to the rooms and they should move them out away by the cute little yard next to covered pool because you could smell the cigarette smoke in your room.

The staff was great - friendly and helpful. The room we were originally assigned to had an a/c issue. Even though it was very late at night, the night manager was incredibly accommodating and gave us another room immediately. I would highly recommend Mountain View Lodge.

Excellent service and very clean. This place has a indoor pool and Jacuzzi which was just a short walk away from my room. Every morning, they serve a very good breakfast till 9 AM. I definitely will return here the next time I come into town.

This is a great place to stay if you'e going to Brianhead to ski, only takes about 20+ minutes to get up the hill. The lodge is well maintained, rooms are super clean, beds are comfortable, there is an indoor pool and spa, the staff is friendly and accommodating. I'd definitely stay there again and recommend it to everyone looking for affordable lodging.

My family and I just stayed at the Mountain View Lodge and enjoyed our stay. We spent four nights and had a wonderful experience with the staff, cleanliness and hospitality of the town. The room was clean, beds were roomy, shower was hot, towels were always fresh, and the Mountain Bistro had delicious Chinese food. We left but forgot my son's special pillow. I called the lodge and they mailed it to me, no charge. Wow!!! We will be back and staying again. The lodge is a short drive to Brian Head (use four wheel drive or chains and drive slow) and Cedar City. The price of the room for a family of five was perfect.

Stumbled on to this exceptional hotel and restaurant. Won't find a better value for clean rooms, nice property, and over-the-top customer service. Complimentary sit down breakfast. Restaurant serves excellent Chinese food! Save money from staying in Brian Head and make the short drive. More services in Parowan. Family run and very friendly staff. Thank you all. We'll be back.

We just happened upon this place on our way from Utah to Las Vegas. It was a great find! Great hospitality, clean rooms, and a delicious complimentary sit down restaurant.

Has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The check in was fast and no problems (I booked through travelocity). The prices were great and the size and decor of the rooms was just fabulous. Basically soundproof. Didn't hear a noise and we were concerned because we faced the parking lot. The restaurant is one of those you will remember forever. It was bar none the best Asian food I have ever had. Highly recommend it for anyone. A beautiful peaceful enjoyable weekend.

Stayed here last night and was very surprised how clean / updated the room was. The bed was very comfortable. Free WiFi and continental breakfast. I will definitely be staying here again. Thanks for such great service.

My husband recently stayed at the Mountain View Lodge Inn and he left his phone at the breakfast table. Sam, I presume the owner, went beyond the call of duty to track him down. He called our home phone as well as the last contact on the phone, in the search. He then sent the phone, even including the tracking number, he refused reimburse for money for sending the phone. Sam made a very anxiety situation, so much better and along with his sense of humor. I would go out of my way to stay at his Inn! I can't thank him enough for his help.
