Stayed for a couple nights in unit 509. Mostly good, but a few bad things. The good. Location was perfect for us. The deck was great. Bed comfortable. Room clean and relatively modern but could use some tweaks. Pool was very warm and decent seating. Did not go in the hot tub, but looked fine. Staff friendly. There is free bike storage which is great but it is cramped and a challenge getting bikes in and out. It really is a two person job. The bad One elevator was broken and the other one was incredibly slow. Taking the elevator was a painful experience. Room and common area access is all done with a code. But not just any code, a 10 digit code. It was a bit much. Did manage to memorize it but what a pain in the butt. Just give me the card or a key, or a shorter code!! For room 509 the elevator is very loud! I sleep with earplugs so it did not bother me when sleeping but it was annoying to listen to constantly when we were in the room. 509 had huge windows. This was fantastic during the day, but there was no real way to black them out. Even closed, at 5am the room is super bright. Pros and cons of huge windows. Being a sleep mask! Lesson learned. All in all this place is really good and we will likely stay again, b

They always say first impression is everything. If that is true, then they should never have Ms. Wonderful at the front desk to check people in, on 17 July 2025 in the afternoon. She wasn't very friendly and just didn't want to be there. I understand people having a bad day but please act professional. With that said, the check-in was faster than speeding down alpine hill for a gold medal without a bloody smile when you won. Consequently, being pleasant is a virtue some people has it and others don't. Now to the room it was pleasant but the cleanliness I would give it a 3*. The best thing about the place us the location. That is a solid 5*

Google
Really convenient location and the price is reasonable. - elevators are really slow and loud - we got the room with Murphy bed. It’s really small and uncomfortable. Avoid it. We needed out checking out one night earlier - there is bit burning smell in the hallway

The Alpenglow Lodge is conveniently located in the heart of Whistler Village on Main Street behind the public library. The units in the building operate as individual holiday rental units and can be found on most short term rental websites. The lobby and common areas have been recently renovated and are modern and clean. The outdoor pool and hot tub are nice highlights. The parking spots are snug but close to the elevator. The front desk staff are very friendly and know all the great spots in Whistler. I would highly recommend staying here.

Google
Great location and friendly staff. This is a timeshare setup so rooms are owned by individuals and therefore all different furniture and design wise. The check-in staff knows which rooms are better so be nice to them ;) The balconies are great irrespective of which room you get. Paid parking underneath the building or cheaper at the central parking lots, which are a pleasant five minute walk away.

We had two different appartments within one week. Due to a free upgrade we had a very nice appartement with two double beds first, for the second part we had a bunk bed and a sleeping couch. There is a heated pool and a (really) hot tub in the hotel which we enjoyed frequently. The staff was very friendly. However, the sleeping couch in the second appartment was very uncomfortable, and the parking garage was expensive and narrow. Would clearly recommend.

I really like it, my room had its own kitchen, closet and bathroom, the bathroom with bathtub. I saw it as a little loft with a comfortable bed and fireplace! It is really close from bus station. It has pool and jacuzzi, unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to use them but they looks great. Excellent place!

Worst Experience ever...The assigned Room that had a clogged toilet and Front desk or the property manager both said Can't help you. When asked for a diff room, they said we don't have any. Handed me a plunger to try and unclog it myself...Unbelievable... Air conditioner is not cooling anything just making noise. Room is really small.

Yelp
Was going to fly in from California for a July 4th trip, except the weather had other plans. With knowledge of the coming storm (one online article described it as a month's worth of rain over 3 days--the exact 3 days I was supposed to be there), I canceled my trip and rebooked everything for Labor Day week--except for Alpenglow Lodge. They wouldn't cancel my reservation nor would they apply what I've already paid toward a future date. Instead they kept my $300 and I'm now fighting it with my credit card. Do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs! If you don't you'd better pray that the weather gods are nice to you, because otherwise you'll be shit outta luck.

Yelp
Please think twice before booking here, the cancellation policies are archaic and the no common sense flexibility employed by the management. I have stayed at several different hotels in Whistler and this place is truly a nightmare to work with. Had booked a reservation months in advance and was excited to visit Whistler again and stay at the Alpenglow hotel for the first time. The day before my reservation I tested positive for Covid and it's still unclear whether I can even travel across the border being Covid positive for leisure travel/vacation. Never intended on missing out on this trip, but the hotel was unable/unwilling to let me pay a fine and retain some credit for a future trip.

Yelp
I recently stayed in a queen bed room. Everything was clean and worked properly. We had a nice view from the balcony of the town's street below. If you exit out the backside, you walk through a garden park-like setting. We had no problems. On the downside, the room was tight for the two of us to get around in. We had just enough space for us and our luggage.

Yelp
What a weekend! Even though I spent an arm and a leg for my room at the Alpenglow my stay was pleasant and the staff were exceptional. This was my girlfriends first time in Whistler so I had to get something central, the location is very easy to get to off the highway and has a great selection of restaurants in the vicinity. As mentioned in a handful of reviews below these are condos, so the room may be different based on the site you booked through as the owners are different. I personally went through airbnb which imo was a good call because I could reach out to the owner directly for any issues as well as the front desk. We didn't get a chance to try out any of the amenities but there was a hot tub/gym on the ground floor along with massages/physiotherapy. As well something to note is that pay parking is $15 for 24 hours from the moment you purchase it.

Yelp
Went to Whistler and stayed here for the first time for Canada Day weekend. Cozy little place, that is a decent price in the heart of Whistler village. It's just steps away from Olympic Plaza where you can hear singers at night. In the morning, it's steps away from Starbucks, Blenz, and a crepe cafe. Yummm. The suite had a little kitchen that you can cook in, a patio looking out to the mountains, and a gas fireplace. The lodge also has a small gym, dry sauna, wet sauna, small pool, and a hot tub. Yippeeee !!! Three things I really like ? 1) extra bath towels in the bathroom, 2) internet and a big screen tv, AND 3) the place is near everything if you want to go shopping and still wear heels :)

Yelp
Good location close to IGA, shops, restaurants, and the ski shuttle stop. Not far from the village stroll and the small park. On the negative side, the units are very small and basic, the beds aren't too comfortable - though you probably wouldn't notice it after a day of skiing :) We also didn't like that the ski storage is in the basement rather than main floor and you have to take an elevator to get there and back to the lobby, the elevator is very slow and it creates quite a bit of delay in the morning when everyone wants to be at gondola at the opening.

Yelp
I stayed at the Alpenglow Lodge in February in a 1-bedroom suite. I booked my room online and received a confirmation email stating the total price of the room. Needless to say I was shocked when I check my credit card to find an additional charge of $224 for what according to the hotel was an "extra person fee". I never agreed to a fee like this, and $224 for an extra person? Their policy even states than an extra person is charged at $15 per night. We stayed for 3 nights, so maybe we had 5 extra people staying in the room I was unaware of (we actually had 1). Be very careful of giving Alpenglow Lodge your credit card info. The dispute process through my credit card company has been a real headache.

Yelp
Clean, sparse, and much smaller than anticipated. We got the largest unit and it was still cramped. It had heat throughout; but, air conditioning was only in the master bedroom. Staff is on site day and early evening only. At night, front desk is empty. Maid service comes only 1x per 7-day stay. Info: Parking underground for $15 per day. Take a taxi cab to the slopes for $7. Furniture Warehouse has great food for $4.95 a plate and it's only 2 minutes away. Canada is a speed trap with speed limits set artificially low and Patrol officers everywhere with radar guns....be careful while driving. You will laugh hysterically wondering why speed limits are so low in some areas and so much higher in other areas that make no sense, randomly. It's to nail you and charge you for a ticket! This should be considered a budget accomodation for those who want a clean low price place to stay with minimal services and no luxuries.

Yelp
I was looking for a centrally located but affordable lodging option in Whistler Village for a trip with my girlfriend. I contacted Christina with MountainView Accommodations. She was absolutely excellent. Even making the reservations was a pleasant experience. The lodge itself is located on the northern end of the Village, making it walking distance to everything (though I would suggest the shuttle that is a 2 minute walk away to go to the gondolas). The lodge was well maintained and inviting and was updated and modern. There are countless restaurants within a 5 minute walk and the grocery store is 2 minutes away. Our room was excellent. It too was well-maintained and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were spotless. We had a large balcony (more of a patio) that had a view of Whistler Mountain. We had a queen bed as well as a murphy bed that doubled as a table when it was stored. There was a gas fireplace that was well used, if not so much for heat, but for ambiance. This was our engagement trip and Christina, upon request, suggested locations to pop the question as well as excellent restaurants to celebrate afterwards. She even made the dinner reservations for me. Everything was perfect! I have noticed mixed reviews through a few websites but I have nothing to say short of excellent about our 5 night stay at the Alpenglow Lodge and the hospitality that we received before and during our stay. I can say without a doubt that we intend on returning next year to Alpenglow and I wish I still had it to look forward to this year.

Yelp
I just went up to Whistler for may long weekend with 3 of my friends. You really can't beat the price for a location like this. We got a one bedroom suite. The room was a bit small for all 4 of us but it was cozy and we made it work. Good kitchen with dishwasher and oven, our room was very clean. We definitely made use of the hot tub, pool, and sauna during our stay as well. Pros: clean room, good price, good location, friendly staff, clean amenities, balcony in our room, quiet (for the most part), I liked how they locked the main doors through the night after 10pm... only residents with the code could open the door. It made me feel just that much more safe. Cons: room was a tad squishy, instead of room keys they have a code you have to punch in to get into your room... kind of annoying. Overall if I'm sharing with one other person I would probably stay here again! 4 people next time we might have to go for the 2 bedroom so there's a bit more space. Would recommend this place if you're looking for an affordable yet somewhat central stay in Whistler Village!

Yelp
Horrible customer service!!!!!!!!!! I had a family death and had to cancel my trip... They were so extremely heartless that they would NOT even consider refunding me under these circumstances. I could never recommend this place to any one. Take your money somewhere else!!!!

Yelp
My wife & I were slightly apprehensive after reading a couple of reviews but because of the price & location in the village we decided to give I a try. We loved it very much, very cozy room, loved the Murphy bed concept which made plenty of room for sofa & coffee table for watching TV . Full service kitchen for late night snacks. Morning coffee taste great as they provided a single up Keurig, so much better than those crappy two cup coffee brewers in most hotels. Shower was awesome great after ll day walking in summer heat. Location fantastic easy walk to any choice of restaurants, never moved the car three days. Staff are fantastic concerned about our being happy, especially Tanya -- she is so pleasant & helpful. We loved it.

Yelp
We live in Vancouver and have been to Whistler many times, and will not stay in this place again. The location is great... But the problem truly were the rooms... They were small, outdated, and although we were not on our hands and knees investigating it definitely looks Iike the place has not been cleaned thoroughly in a long time! Here are few things that bugged us.. They might not bug you, but here they are: Lampshades were crooked, patio door hardley opened, patio furniture was extremely dirty and had to be wiped down, crooked pictures, and crooked light switch covers... It seemed like they had a timelimit to updated the suites, and once time was up.. Thats it! Basically the worst thing is the units are not updated at all... For this price, there are always other options that are waaaay better! We stayed here this time because everywhere else was booked. Next time, we will be staying elsewhere!

Yelp
While our particular condo was lovely (kudos to the owner - this review is not a reflection of that condo or him) but the building itself leaves much to be desired. For starters, the key card reader on the main door is broken so be sure you have your pass-code memorized. Add this to the poorly lit community areas, poorly appointed gym and dated interior design and this place becomes more shabby than chic. The true downfall of this place was a particular experience we had: our group was locked (via deadbolt) outside while we were enjoying the hot tub... WTF. Someone from our group had to hop a 8ft+ high fence and let themselves in to the building via an alternate entrance. This resulted in the realization that not only was the exterior door locked but so was the interior door to the gym... double WTF. After 45 mins of wondering how we would all manage to clear the fence, a building security person was found and let us inside. What a nightmare. Had their been an emergency, this would have been beyond dangerous. All in all, be aware that while the condos themselves can be fab the building leaves much to be desired.

Yelp
From check in to an almost immediate check out (a couple hours later) it was still too much time at the Alpenglow! The front desk manager, assistant manager and the accommodations were all bummers! We rented a two bedroom suite months in advance and expected something great. HAHA, It was a big bust! The room wasn't ready when we arrived, the hotel was not in the least bit crowded and we hardly got any service. The lobby was dark and there were no signs of hospitality. They did not let us check in upon arrival because they were "fixing the jacuzzi". When we finally got to our room, the assistant manager was hanging blinds in the unit. He was upset we came in and was anything but pleasant. There were no signs of an old crusty looking jacuzzi being repaired. The place was horribly dated, stuffy and hot. One room had a wall a/c unit blasting and noisy which he claimed would cool the entire place. He suggested we leave for a bit and come back and see how "cool" it would get. The place remained hot and uncomfortable. The best remedy they offered was a small desk size fan! There were bugs in the ugly sticky carpet, icky dated decor and gross bedding on old saggy beds. The kitchen was smelly as was the bathroom. The view was great but through dirty windows...nothing redeeming! We are a family of five and all of us were in agreement and couldn't stay there. Needless to say, we left ASAP and booked rooms at another hotel close by which was clean and delightful. The second hotel was a bit more money and so worth it! This was our vacation and we expected a nice CLEAN place. There are so many choices and reasonable places to stay in Whistler, it is surprising this place can get away with their lack of creature comforts and dated environment not to mention unfriendly and inhospitable staff. I DO NOT recommend this hotel! I had to fight to get a refund! They were rude about that too but I was insistent and they finally obliged but begrudgingly of course!

Yelp
First things first these are Condos not a Hotel. So potentially each room can be different depending on the owner. That being said I book through Resort-Quest so if that's who you booked through then you experience may be similar. Also the staff in the building were very helpful and pleasant. This is your standard foot on the ground room. Meaning hurray you are in whistler and you have a roof. I am convinced that it was not a queen sized bed as I payed for but something between a double and a queen. My wife and I took turns sleeping on the couch. Speaking of, the couch was gross. There were stains on it and I would not have slept on it were we not so tired from my international flights. With all that off my chest I think the building is great, with the pool and the gym and the views. But hey it is whistler, I mean the view from the dumpster would be pretty awesome too. The location is good, its a 10-15 minute stroll to the main drag towards the lifts. there are lots of things in the immediate area in terms of utility but all the good stuff is just a little away. Since we were traveling with family we had to meet them in the thick of it which added a little frustration but it was manageable.
