We had so much fun and highly recommend Daniel's tour. We had a short time in Edinburgh and I've never seen this city before so we thought what a perfect way to see some of the highlights of this incredible place, and also have a really fun day as part of our holiday. And the Tour did not disappoint! My boyfriend wants to go see his stand up gigs now, I agree. : ) Thanks again Daniel, I learned so much and your historical knowledge is very rich + impressive. We discovered Daniel's podcast back in 2022, so when the opportunity arose to join the tour we jumped on it. Did the walking tour plus whisky tasting, and what a great way to spend a day in Edinburgh. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an alternative take on the city's history, and bonus points for Brahan, the best doggo ever! We have been fans of Daniels ever since discovering his excellent podcast in 22. Having the opportunity to visit the amazing Edinburgh from Australia it was an obvious no brainer & so off we went & Daniel didn't let us down. From the moment he met us all we were in stitches. Daniel is not only extremely funny he's approachable & extremely knowledgeable about Edinburgh & Scotland's history as a whole (well, he does have a Masters in Scotish history after all) There's a real mix of different history of Edinburgh & Scots & cant recommend his tour enough. For me I wanted more than 2 hours. Oh yea, & his amazing doggy pal Brahan is the most chilled affectionate fur ball have ever met. Enjoy!

Daniel is seriously knowledgeable and very funny. The Mountebank Comedy Walk is a great way to see Edinburgh, full of sharp humour and proper history. A brilliant mix of laughs and learning. Cheers poodle, highly recommend!

As someone who loves to laugh and has an interest in history this tour was a no brainer, and still it exceeded my expectations. It was also a great pick for the two discerning and brutally honest teens who "liked everything about it". Interesting content, a great walkabout, a laugh out loud experience with a guide- Daniel- who is generous with his time and knows how to work a crowd.

Daniel’s walking tour was truly excellent and a great choice of a walking tour. He has an amazing knowledge of Scotland’s history and Edinburgh in general, and delivered so much interesting information in a fun and engaging way. Couldn’t recommend this comedy walking tour highly enough! We’ve been talking about it ever since and if you don’t do this tour, you’ve missed out big time. You’ll also need to do the tour to find out just what Daniel is demonstrating here… 🤣

I’ve done a multitude of walking tours around the world so when I saw the option for a comedic tour in place of a “normal one” I was slightly apprehensive. “Would we feel pressure to laugh at everything for 2 hours straight?” I thought to myself. But we chanced it and now I can say it’s by far the most memorable walking tour I’ve ever done. Not only is Daniel a whip smart historian, his witty crowd work and ability to remember bits and bobs about everyone on the tour and crack jokes was really endearing and kept everyone engaged through a dense amount of historical anecdotes about Scottish History and points of interest around Edinburgh. In addition, Daniel has an adorable doggie Bran who was a treat to have along for the walk 🥰

What a fantastic way to spend an afternoon in Edinburgh! Daniel was an outstanding guide, giving all the info you could ask for and mixing in hilarious banter. Thoroughly enjoyed the time!
