Beautiful small hotel in a stunning traditional village in mountainous area. The hotel is perfectly located near the old square and the beginning of Vikos gorge hiking trail and a monastery with a great view. The view at the terrace of the hotel is also great. The rooms are nicely decorated, spaceous and comfortabel. The breakfast has a variety of local produce and is all served at your table. The massage by Nikos was the nicest massage i've ever had. The owner and the personnel are extremely nice and welcoming and are doing the extra mile to help you. At check-out we forgot a bag and the owner was so nice to bring it to us on our next travel destination. It was really the perfect stay to our honeymoon. Thank you for everything!

We stayed in the past in four different hotels in the area, and Mountrace was by far the best! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the rooms are spotless, spacious, and extremely comfortable — I had the best sleep here. The breakfast was excellent, with good quality. Christina was exceptionally kind and attentive, which made our stay even more special. The hotel beautifully combines traditional charm with modern comfort. Highly recommended!

It was a disaster. We returned to find the room full of wasps (flying and dead). As my wife is pregnant, it was unsafe to stay. The hotel confirmed the issue, shut the room down, and offered no alternative as they were fully booked. We had to sleep on a sofa bed in a friend’s room – totally unacceptable. No one followed up, the staff was extremely rude. and my messages have been ignored since. Extremely disappointed by the lack of service and communication.

The friendliest hosts ever, high quality rooms, the most wonderful and delicious breakfast you can ask for and more. Off the beaten path a bit but once you are there, you'll be glaf you made the best decision to stay there. Short walk's distance from the square. Enough to help digest a delicious meal from the restaurants there.

It is like visiting your Greek relatives at their summer place!||When you pull into the parking lot, we were immediately helped and cordially greeted by Jiannis, the friendly owner. |[One word about parking: Yes, a 4x4 is an advantage when you want to park directly in front of the door, but we have seen a young lady in a Smart do it, so don’t worry. Besides, they just have set up a new parking lot around the corner for 10 vehicles]||From the reception to the check-in process and all the valuable information on the hotel, its facilities and the surroundings, arriving at MountGrace really feels like coming to the place of good friends or family members.||The lobby already radiates the warm, noble atmosphere of an elegant castle that we also found in the spacious suite. The interior decorating of the whole place was done with pristine quality material, a fine melange of marble, wood, and Zagoria stone, and a very tasteful eye for detail.||The bathroom has wonderful facilities, excellent water pressure and quality as well as high-end care products. The bed is comfy and wide, the plentiful windows provide for great views of the landscape.||The feeling of staying with friends is constantly nurtured by the exceptionally cordial and helpful staff. This starts with us being served breakfast on the terrace: Finally, no lukewarm buffet, but freshly cooked, Greek breakfast dishes prepared a la minute. By far the best breakfast we have experienced over the last three weeks travelling the country! The team goes the extra mile: For our early start to hike through Vikos gorge, they got out of bed early, too, to have fresh lunch boxes ready for us!||The Spa area is just perfect for relaxing after a day’s hike, but bear in mind, we are in Zagoria, so do expect a two-person sauna. But one that is turned into a scented paradise, totally private, and illuminated just for you by 30+ small candles. That’s why make sure to book your slot book your slot a few hours before.||In a nutshell, a cosy luxurious hideaway in the mountains, illuminated by a truly caring team and a spirit of real hospitality!

Amazing breakfast was served by the kindest and most friendly staff members, that were always there to help us make our experience at its most. The location of the hotel is as good as it can be at the village of Monodendri, which gives you easy access to the rest of the villages and activities all around Zagorochoria. The rooms exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness and size. We will definitely bisit again in the future. The hotel didnt provide dinner or launch at all(only breakfast) but that wasnt really a problem as small taverns with delicious traditional food were located in very close walking distances around the hotel. MounTrace hotel will be a go to place for us from now on! Thank you!

Beautiful suites in the heart of Vikos national park. Multiple hiking trails accessible from walking out your door (including Vikos gorge). The staff was fantastic and the food was great. Only issue, which I will not fault them for is the parking. Parking is… difficult. Any car larger than a compact will most likely not be able to make it out of the small lot and onto the historic track… it is very very tight.

My wife booked this hotel for a weekend at the amazing village of Monodendri. We were both impressed. The quality of the rooms, the lobby area, the breakfast, the friendly stuff (especially Panagiota!), everything was great. Highly recommended!
