Stayed for a couple of nights for a conference. Very central location with waterfront, Salamanca and CBD an easy walk. Rooms well appointed. View from my room 311 was non-existent but was fine as on a work trip and didnt really spend time in the room. Had a very taste linguine vongole in restaurant downstairs, and for the chocoholics there is a free afternoon snack with various treats. Small but functional gym on-site. Close to range of cafes and restaurants. Was able to leave luggage at reception. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We went to the hotel restaurant and bar. Chocolate gelato for my little one which she loved. Sourdough focaccia with olive oil and balsamic dipping bowl which was beautiful and so tasty. Finally, the prawn linguine for our main which was amazing. Rich and tasty sauce, prawns and pasta perfectly cooked. The delicious food, the attentive and friendly staff made it a wonderful dining experience. Will be back and will make sure to take photos next time!

Very nice hotel in a central location in Hobart. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and spacious, they provide all the amenities you need, including in-room Nespresso, and they even had decaf, which is so rare. I felt right at home. I was excited for chocolate hour but it was a bit anti-climactic. I expected more variety but the selection offered was a bit underwhelming. The initial plates that came out at 3:30 were empty within minutes thanks to a few greedy individuals and even though there were many of us left waiting and several employees nearby, the chocolate wasn’t replenished until one of us asked a staff member. Also, the breakfast was delicious but confusing. We weren’t the only people who were confused about what we could have (buffet or table service or both?) and I couldn’t find the coffee. The host/hostess should explain the process better. Overall, I absolutely loved the hotel and would definitely choose to stay there again.

We loved how central this hotel is. Staff are beautiful and helpful and the valet service is wonderful. Best pillows we have ever had in a hotel and the room was lovely and quiet. We had to leave a night early as my son was sick and fly home and they were very kind to assist us with this. James the manager is very professional to deal with. The hotel lost a star because we were so excited about chocolate hour and there were no gluten free options for me and one of my sons. But apart from that it’s a great hotel.

Our room was very roomy with a great bathroom. The vanity could be a bit larger. The bed and pillows were comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. We only experienced the "Chocolate" hour once during our 7 days and it was disappointing - mainly slices with very little chocolate. The breakfast was very nice with lots of fresh food. The baristas need to make the coffee hot, a couple of days I quaffed the coffee in 30 sec.

Lovely and modern hotel well located in the centre of Hobart. We stayed in the city room with lovely views of the city and also some views of the mountains. My only complaint was that the room was right in front of the lifts, they did try to assist with this but there were no other rooms available at the time. They did not provide extra pillows as requested in my booking, and bath robes also needed to be requested. Drinking water was not provided in the room, but there is a water fountain on level 2 that can be used. However, they should provide a vessel that people can use to fill up as not everyone would have a water bottle. The gym is very small with 2-3 equipment and some dumbbells. Overall, my stay was good, the room was clean and I would certainly stay here again next time im in Hobart.

The hotel is beautifully designed with all the modern conveniences provided. The room was spacious and provided a lovely view of the city. The in room TV entertainment was excellent. Access to Foxtel on demand was a welcomed surprise from the usual hotel TV offerings. Wifi provided was strong and consistent throughout the stay. The bathroom was spacious and had ample space for us to hang our towels and other bathroom necessities. The adjustable shower was also very much appreciated. It would have been helpful to have a full length mirror in the room. The beds were firm and comfortable and the pillows were just the right firmness to ensure a peaceful night's sleep. Truly an excellent hotel and I look forward to returning one day.

Good location in the city centre where we needed to be when we booked the hotel. We first had 2 seperate bookings that turned into 3 as the plan had to be changed. Our first Room, 1207, has no towels at all on the check in date, we had to called reception to get some towels. Our 2nd room, 1002, right next to the lift and is not quiet as many noisy people come and go. The room also facing the bus stop with some car park entrance making noise often. We can hear slamming door outside our room throughout the day. The room is very dusty, you can see dust float in the light at night and in the sun during the day. The dust would cover my whole phone screen every morning. The curtain doesn't close properly to the wall which let a good amount of light in. The bed has quite a bit of a bump which make it a little uncomfortable. Bridget at reception on check-in was very helpful and friendly. However there was always a long queue at check-in and checkout times! The breakfast was very good, except from one morning when they were under staff because some staff didn't show up. It was also turned out to be a very busy day compared to the rest of 7 breakfast we had at the hotel. Housekeeping was not very consistent and depends on who working. As we had to stayed in for work during the week, we meet a couple different women but one of them was the worse, keep asking what we need her to do while her other colleagues know their job! Overall it was a good stayed. Lovely chocolate at the chocolate hour!
