Mövenpick Lausanne

This hotel has a great location, great views and really good service with a friendly staff. It is across from the marina with a really nice view of the lake and the Alps in the distance. It is less than 5 min walk from the train station and about 10 min walk from the Olympic Museum and Park. The food was quite good and the ice cream, which Movenpick is known for, was great. A really good choice for a hotel!

Excellent hotel in a great location. Close to the Ouchy metro station and ferry. Great views over Lac Leman. Good service, nice rooms. Convenient for bars, restaurants and has a Migros supermarket next door|Really nothing to complain about.

My husband I were so impressed with this hotel. The location is perfect! We so enjoyed the lake view from our room which was large and comfortable with adequate storage and and a very nice bathroom. The hotel is up to date and spotless. We had one dinner at the restaurant which was delicious and enjoyed four amazing breakfasts with a wife variety of fresh and delicious options. I'm sorry I can't recall the names of the staff in the lobby but they were so welcoming, polite, and loaned us an umbrella on a rainy day. We loved Lausanne, hope to visit again, and will definitely stay at the this hotel.

Well, it's been a very long time that I had not visited a Swiss hotel and I must say the Movenpick Lausanne was a very welcome location, with very pleasing staff and an overall lovely stay. I was in room 570 for 2 nights, overlooking the back of the hotel (which is more quiet particularly during the European Football Cup!). Rooms are pleasant with all amenities and sustainably furnished. |Only drawback is that the chair is much too low (and not adjustable) to use the desk to work at (I measure 1m80) |Thank you !

Location is good, view of Lake Geneva and Port Lausanne-Ouchy, walking distance to Olympic Museum and Ouchy–Olympique station. But terrible service and very bad pillows.||||Service was questionable for Mövenpick's standards:||- Check-in was slow and when a table was opened, staff were not willing to call others over and just chatted amongst themselves||- Pillows were small and flat. Very terrible pillows. Even "ergonomic pillows" requested were small unsupportive pieces of foam. Not to mention over an hour of wait and 2 reminder calls to housekeeping and front desk, delaying sleeping time.||- Requested for extra vanity kits but was not delivered after 2 reminder calls. Called again the next morning and finally successful. (perhaps shift-relevant?)||- Water temperature of bathtub and shower were jumping between intense hot and intense cold. Hope it will be fixed.||- Requested for breakfast during check-in but cancelled during stay. Was mistakenly charged after check-out. Forgivable. But contacting the hotel took over a week and 8 emails and had 0 responses. Had to separately reach out to manager via LinkedIn for a reply and action.

Amazing and relaxing stay! The staff was super friendly and welcoming, with so many little attentions to make us feel welcomed (chocolate, very cute bed for my baby as well as baby soap and shampoo). The room had an incredible view and was very quiet which made us feel so relaxed, exactly what we needed. Finally the hotel is perfectly located by the lake and close to the tube to reach the city center, it was very easy to move around and discover Lausanne. We would definitely come back and recommend it!

Thank you Benji for your warm welcome on my arrival and for helping me sort my room service order! The food was delicious and brought to my room by yet another friendly member of staff. The room was comfortable with everything I needed. Good location.

Fantastic experience in this hotel. The location is wonderful. Reception team was great with answering my questions. The room was also great, clean and well maintained. Very nice view on the lake. Woow, the breakfast was also great and the bar has a great atmosphere and the restaurant served very good food with a large choice. What I appreciate the most, is the service , great customer service , always smiling, welcoming and a kind Word. Thank you and will come back again surely!!!!
