The hotel is in a wonderful location, the atmosphere very welcoming and the staff is truly friendly. We enjoyed our stay a lot and hope to come back. Our children enjoyed the kids club with Sara who is very kind. The cleaning throughout our stay was eccellent (thanks to Karim). And I particularly enjoyed the fact that the hotel has a no plastic policy and a huge vegetable garden. We encountered only one issue: the prohibitively expensive services provided by the medical doctors. While the doctors are extremely kind and helpful, the bill that we received at the end to cure ear infection of our son was truly shocking and certainly not commensurate to the medical assistance received.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Movenpick hotel in June, and I can honestly say it was everything you could hope for in a perfect vacation spot. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional – warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of fresh and flavorful dishes that catered to all tastes. The highlight, however, was the stunning coral reef right by the hotel. It was a paradise for snorkelers and divers alike. The hotel also boasts a top-notch, certified diving center, making it the perfect place for anyone wanting to explore the underwater world. What really set this hotel apart for us, though, was its peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. There are no water slides, no theme park-style distractions, and no loud entertainment. Instead, it’s a place where you can truly unwind – whether that’s reading a book by the beach, practicing yoga, or simply taking some time to reconnect with yourself. It's the kind of peaceful retreat where you can leave all your worries behind and just focus on rejuvenating your mind and body. This is exactly what a well-deserved vacation should feel like. We had such an amazing experience, and we’re already looking forward to our return trip in February. We truly can't wait to experience this little piece of paradise again! Thank you and see you soon🤗

We had an absolute AMAZING time here. Everything was perfect. The whole resort is simple but absolutely gorgeous. We had the best experience diving and doing several courses to further our skills at the dive center. The food was also amazing, as were all the other amenities like the gym, spa (where we were taken care of by the amazing team with wonderful massages), the pool and beach areas. What stood at the most was also the amazing service and the kind employees who took the best care of us. Be this at the breakfast buffet, playing beach volleyball with us in the afternoon, finding us the perfect chairs at the beach or entertaining us at the special dinners at the fishhouse or in Geb’s garden. You can really feel the love and care that is put into the entire resort. We can’t wait to be back!

The hotel is set in a beautiful bay and the rooms and premises are very clean and well managed. Staff is super friendly and the food is varied and delicious. I particularly liked the buffet style food of the Orangerie restaurant because it allows you to try many different things. Even though it is a buffet the food options do not get boring. Their breakfast options are also amazing. Staff is professional and always ready to help. I gave "only" 4 stars for the position of the hotel, as it is a bit far away from everything, so if you plan on doing lots of day trips it may not be for you.

We are a couple of French and we just went back 10 days ago from Moevenpick El Quseir where we stayed (room 1209) for a week. It was our fifth stay after and we found it to be even better than last time in april 2023. We love this resort where we can relax and enjoy peace and the beautiful nature and where the service is exceptional . It is true we have found a second home. We already booked for our next stay in april 2025 J|Rooms|The rooms are nice, air-conditioned and big enough. Our room was a new renovated room and this renovation is a real success : design , tasty decoration and very bright. Also event the surface of the room remained the same , the room seems larger ! The ergonomy is great and the material were perfectly chosen and it is very convenient .We liked too the new eco friendly water bottles as well as the shampoo/sdoaps from Natural remedies ;)|Security|The hotel is vey safe with security guards at the main entrance and also ecurity posts at the beach-side hotel entrances. We felt safe and very well looked after here.|Also scurity is a key point in the resort with the lifeguards on the beach that are very professionnel attentive for the security of the swimmers … same for the lifegards at the swimming pools. Moreover all the lifeguards are very friendly||Site|The site is magnificent, the hotel beach is well organised and equipped witrh a safe acces to the crystal-clear waters. You can see vibrant coral reefs, reefs and fishes on the housereef|The resort consists of several groups of rooms/houses built like a nubian village (dome roof, natural stone, arched windows) and divided into several groups. The entire complex is spacious and very well maintained.|Diving center|We are making diving and snorkeling. It is possible to go with the divers on certain sites with a snorkel guide … very nice and the snorkel guide was great .|The diving center (renowned « Extradivers » ) is managed and run professionally The security is very important, all the staff is attentive and helpful and very friendly . There, too there is a high level of service|Service/staff|The service provided is exceptional and the staff went above and beyond to our confort and well being.|They are extremely professional and customer-oriented on all sectors : They are smiling and are very attentive .|The staff noticed I had a birthday during our stay and gave me a beautiful signed birthday card together wirh a special bed decoration||We had the opportunity to meet many nice people working in the resort but we particularly appreciated (again !) the great professionalism and friendliness in all circumstances of Mostapha at the beach .|Also Sair Ramadan who took care of our room was particularly efficient and helpful.|At the restaurant we appreciated so much the service and kindness of Ghada and Amhed G (thanks to him to help me in my arabic language learning J) . Special congratulations too to Ayman the cook in charge of eggs/omelette at breakfast : so talented and friendly !|At the spoa Reda was very nice and we appreciated the exchanges with the person in charge of spa/massage booking.|We would like to thank all the people, we met because they made all their best to make our stay so memorable.||The management of the resort with Alec de View as manager is excellent because they are very concerned by staff management, are extremely client oriented (and also so sustainability oriented) and that may explain this high level of service.|We appreciated also the « repeater » cocktail and meeting the managers was a rewarding experience .||Restaurants / bars|The hotel has four restaurants : A buffet restaurant, a beach bar, an Italian restaurant and the Seagul "gourmet restaurant", The food is very good and varied. … We are French so we are particularly demanding!|We loved also the coktails and the ambiance of the bar « Top of the Rock » with a breathtaking view.||Spa|The spa is beautiful. We experienced massage and it was great.

This was the worst place we stayed in Egypt because of the problems at the hotel. First, the room was too hot. We were in a family suite with two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms had no windows, only a door to the patio. Egypt in January is cool but there were no windows to open in our bedroom and you can’t sleep with the door wide open. We spent hours trying to get them to fix the AC. We were told that Americans like it cooler than their more frequent European guests, thus making us the problem. The room would cool down to 21 or 22 which was fine but then go back up to 23 or 24 which was too hot. They finally fixed it the third night but this was after a lot of hassle on our part. Second, the dining situation was problematic. We did bed and breakfast (not full board) and were told we did not need reservations at the restaurants. Every single time we went to a restaurant they told us that we needed a reservation but that they would seat us anyways. Annoying, to say the least. They post vegan menus online but apparently you have to order it 24 hours ahead of time. Which they don’t tell you online. And no one seemed to know the prices of anything on the vegan menu. I wasted another 1.5 hours ordering vegan dishes for our dinner the next night. We selected this hotel because some in our family are vegetarian. Given the limited vegetarian options on the restaurant menus, and the difficulties with ordering from the vegan menu, I would not recommend this place for vegetarians. They also add 12% service charge and 15% tax to all food and beverages, including snacks in the room. Which makes the restaurants expensive for Egypt and the food is just OK. Third, as noted by other reviewers, there are problems with wait staff not responding to female guests. Twice at breakfast, I was in the omelette line first, but the chef took my order last. He addressed the men before me even though they arrived after me. Didn’t even ask who was there first and automatically defaulted to serving the men first. It was also difficult to get coffee at my table when I was there alone without my husband. I have been working in Northern Africa and this subtle sexism is common throughout. But this is a global hotel chain with a primarily international clientele. I would expect the staff to be better trained to consciously watch out for this. Finally, some facilities could use an upgrade. For example, drawers were broken in the room, gym mats were old and dirty, and the yoga center appears to be permanently closed. They also charge extra for all recreational activities such as use of the tennis courts. Which is unusual since many resorts let you use the tennis courts for free. Filtered water was another issue. It was free in your room and at the gym but they would charge if you ordered water at breakfast or dinner. The rooms were not cheap so it was annoying to be charged extra for all these minor things. We did not experience this at other hotels in Egypt, BTW. The setting and grounds are beautiful and they appear to be sincere in their sustainability efforts, which I appreciated. There was no plastic anywhere and the coral reef was in great shape. They were keeping people off the corals and taking care of the marine ecosystem. But the resort caters primarily to European tourists on package tours with full room and board (all inclusive). Since we didn't fall into this category and experienced hassle, we did not enjoy our stay as much.

We just enjoyed a fantastic 3 centre trip to Egypt ... Aswan, Luxor for history and El Qusier for snorkeling. ||After a 5 hour drive across the desert from Luxor we arrived at another of our favourite hotels in Egypt, the Moevenpick, El Quiser. Our third visit here. After ten days of Egyptian history we came here to relax on the beach and for the superb and easy snorkeling.  ||The hotel is a low rise development built in Nubian style. As a result it is quite spread out, but we enjoyed the exercise. Our seaview suite was tasteful and stylish in muted tones, with Nubian accessories. Storage was good and the bathroom had an excellent walk in shower. We had a lovely outside area with 2 sunbeds, 2 chairs and a table and a fabulous hot jacuzzi pool. There are screens for privacy/shade should you want them. ||Due to its isolation half board is compulsory. The breakfast buffet is excellent with the usual choice of fruit, cereals, pastries and freshly made ommelettes etc. Evening meals are equally good, in themed buffet style with lots of variety. We ate once in each of the a la carte restaurants, Seagulls and Al Fresco. Both had waiter service and the food was exceptionally good.||Both pools are close to the sea but we prefer the long sandy beach where you can walk straight out into the sea to swim or snorkel. Even better snorkelling is off the end of the jetty where you simply walk down a ladder into the sea. Turn LEFT, swim past the jetty and you are in the wonderful undersea world of a drop off ... like an underwater cliff, which is teeming with every type and colour of coral and fish. You swim out against the current and drift back with it ... just so easy and so much to see. Amazing. There's also a highly regarded Dive Center here for those who want to scuba.||Heads up about the beach ... you need to be up early !! By 7 am all the front row is gone !!||This is a place to relax and unwind and enjoy the hotel facilities. In the past we have enjoyed sunset drinks at the Rock Bar but sadly it was too windy this time. The hotel runs a shuttle to the nearby small town where there is a fort but we didn't go there so can't comment.  ||We found all the staff to be friendly and helpful, and special thanks to Alaa and Ebeid for keeping our room so beautifully.||When we were there a cargo ship had just grounded on the reef offshore. The hotel is doing its best to make up for this with the guests. Fortunately the small oil leakage has not affected the beach/coral at the Movenpick as the current is taking it South. Hopefully it will be resolved quickly to avoid further damage to the beautiful marine environment of the Red Sea.

The Mövenpick Resort El Quseir is truly a special place, standing out with its impressive combination of natural beauty, excellent service, and an exceptionally relaxing atmosphere. From the moment you arrive, you feel well taken care of. The entire resort is beautifully designed and meticulously maintained, with lush greenery, harmoniously integrated buildings, and an ambiance that truly invites you to relax.||What really stands out is the outstanding service. The resort's team is always friendly, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. Every wish is practically anticipated, making you feel completely looked after. The peace and the absence of loud entertainment programs are a true blessing – you can genuinely unwind and let your soul rest. For those seeking relaxation and rejuvenation, this oasis is perfect.||A definite highlight is the first-class dive center, featuring a spectacular house reef right on the doorstep. The underwater world you can experience here is simply breathtaking. Whether you are a diver or a snorkeler, the reef offers unforgettable moments for everyone and is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen.
