I heard a lot of great things about Moxie, and am a huge fan of Trouble and Sons, so was excited to finally try this place. Unfortunately, I left disappointed. Service was a little slow, and our entrees were mostly lukewarm. My red snapper was dry, as was the risotto. The braised short ribs did not fall off the bone, but rather were also a little dry. The house salads were ok, but would have preferred the cucumbers and tomatoes be sliced instead of diced. On the upside, the cream of broccoli soup was amazing and the dishes as a whole were flavorful. Our lemon drop martinis were tasty, but the dirty martini had a tad too much olive juice, but was also tasty. The atmosphere was quaint, cozy and warm. Despite being disappointed, I would be willing to give Moxie another try.
