Absolutely delightful stay. The staff went over the top to accommodate travelers. Lounge was spacious (classic Moxy) and rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Very short walk over to halles de Bacalan for food and to cité du vin for wine education. Downtown Bordeaux is 30-40 min walk along the river or hop on a tram. I would definitely stay here again next time visiting Bordeaux.

Great hotel in Bordeaux! Very nice, well-located, super clean, good amenities and the staff were super friendly. I would have given a 10/10, but although breakfast was good the scrambled eggs at breakfast were made with powdered eggs instead of real eggs . That said, the fact that this is my only complaint shows just how good the hotel really is!

This a cute hotel with easy access to the tram to take you to the more historic parts of Bordeaux. We had the room with a balcony overlooking the harbor. Very nice view with very sparce furniture. If you want to have friends in the enjoy the view, I would assume you would need to borrow some additional chairs. The room was cute with a few minor dings from wear. About the only complaint is that the bed are quite hard. If you need a softer bed, that might be an issue. Spacious bath and room for storage of items. We love the bohemian look of a Moxy with the modern vibe. The lobby is a fun and welcoming space. Breakfast is quick and easy. A big plus is the easy access using public transit. We only used ride-share to and from the airport and that was because of time constraints - could be easily done with the tram. Also, make sure to book a vineyard tour - Saint E'milon is a must!!!!

I must say I’m truly disappointed with the service of this hotel. I travel to many hotels but this is the first hotel I’ve stayed at where the staff couldn’t care less. I ask for a serviette and had the staff lady roll her eyes at me with the fact she had to help me. I then wanted to pay for a drink and I was standing at the reception and there were 3 staff members behind the bar doing nothing and they got irrated and they told me “ I’m busy just wait “ wow .. there was nobody in the lobby and they were on their cellphones in that moment . Just me and my partner were wanting drinks as our food was getting cold. Truly truly disappointing service . I won’t be back to moxy hotels again.

It was superb to receive such fabulous service from the hotel crew, especially from Clemence. She displayed professional etiquette and provided top notch service. Furthermore, she had shown the qualities of a Manager, a very welcoming and polite attitude. She is very attentive and always be the first to approach me when I require any assistance. Her smiles and greetings made me feel like a privileged customer. I enjoyed my stay in this hotel tremendously!

I like/love really nice 5 star hotels but can truly appreciate this Moxy!||We stayed here for one night after being out in the countryside for 3 nights at a wedding. It was hot as can be in Bordeaux (40c) and this hotel hit all the marks:|very clean|early check in|amazing staff|oatmilk latte|vegan snack options at the bar|good wifi|comfy bed|easy to grab an uber/ get food delivery dropped off|Walkable to a tram and food halles next door (that is closed Mondays)|solid bathroom/shower/water pressure/ hot water|great rooftop deck (albeit too hot to use much)|* most of our wedding party was at the Renaissance next door- It was more expensive and sold out, but I think we scored ending up at the Moxy!||If you need a place for a short stay, that is clean, consistent, has good water pressure, and knows their brand, I give this Moxy a 10/10. We appreciated them fully. |Old time SPG member here, that truly values a St Regis and was a loyal W stayer. The W has dropped off, and while the Moxy misses some things people seem to want (closets/drawers/ a safe), I don't mind this one bit. I've stayed are more and more Moxys as of late, especially in France, and they are doing well. Thank you, Moxy!

It’s in a trendy part of town but I would have rather preferred to stay in the city centre. It’s a tram ride away but still a hustle to buy tickets every time. Moxy is trendy but I didn’t like its vibe. Not for me. Key card didn’t work either so we had to go to reception all the time to update it

Staff is nice and the rooms are OK, but dropping a star due to the poor air condition, and a window that doesn’t close properly in room 227. It wouldn’t have been so annoying if not for the very loud disco party across the water that’s been going for the past 5+ hours.
