Moxy Bucharest Old Town

Fantastic 4 night stay at Moxy Bucharest. Location was perfect, we could walk to everything we wanted to see in the city. Staff at the hotel were very kind, we very much appreciated the early check in after arriving very early in the morning after travelling overnight from Sofia. We also received an upgrade to a room on the top floor with a balcony, which had a great view of the city. Loved the coffee machine too. Thank you Moxy, we had a great stay, highly recommend.

Great location: central to lots of popular restaurants, shopping, and landmarks. The trade off is the room is compact, with with no storage. Clean rooms with option for daily turn-down service. Staff are cordial and helpful. Key card required to access the elevators for security. Would recommend for a couple or solo traveler.

Stayed here for a few days and loved it. The staff were nice and helpful. The room itself was a good size and nice and clean. The air conditioning worked well in days that were 88 degrees and up and that was a plus. The only cons were that the rooms didn't have a mini fridge or a closet. You also have to share the iron that's located on level 1. The location was perfect for me as well since it's right in old town but aways enough so it didn't get to busy with the crowds. I'd definitely stay here again.

Brilliant hotel. Location superb in the old town. Rooms clean and comfortable. They have a pretty decent gym. We loved the reception area - spacious with food and drink options and table football, which entertained us most days.

After having a brilliant stay at Moxy Belgrade, decided to stay at Moxy in Bucharest. |The location is convenient with many restaurants and sights around the hotel. |The staff was mostly nice. The rooms are absolutely tiny with no storage space. Just a few hangers were provided. The washrooms are also tiny. The rooms and comfortable and clean though.

Best staff ever !!! From the check in to our departure, the kindness and friendly nature of the staff is unbelievable!! They make you feel very welcome and right at home. They talk with you , share things to see and do while treating you like family!! It was my birthday and Andreea and Eli made it very special!! They wrote on the mirror in my room and just made it a big deal. Amazing employees!! Marriott is well served by these wonderful staff members!!

This hotel has a great location as it is close to many bar and restaurants. I really enjoyed the hotel staff as I find them quite engaging and helpful. During my last stay i was provided with a great upgrade which made my stay even more enjoyable, The check-in drinks are a nice touch and my only complaint is that you do not have a fridge in your room. This hotel should definitely be your go to spot when visiting Bucharest.

Pro's - The hotel itself looks nice and is in a good location. It's handy that you can get food and drinks 24 hours and the lockers are also very handy. We did recieve good service when we were here. The hotel does seem to be tailored towards a more 'drinking culture vibe'. This isn't an issue if you're just in your room. Big TV and good channel selection.||Cons - The bed. Only 1 pillow which is a poor quality. Went to check in and they couldn't really tell us how to get another pillow. The bed is also harder than the rubber on my shoe and really needs reviewing. Lack of space and amenities. We were provided with a bottle of water that had been refilled but didn't touch this as we were unsure if the drinking water was safe. The room does lack space and would massively benefit from a little more storage and maybe coffee/tea/mini fridge facilities.||Overall, basic and average, not too bad if you get a good deal
