The hotel has a fun, modern vibe with stylish common areas and a lively atmosphere. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-designed. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Excellent value for money and a great choice for a city break. Highly recommended.

This could have easily been a five star rating. The hotel itself was in a great location. What brought it down was the fact that we froze the first night because the front desk people did not know how to turn the heat on. Our thermostat said off. We could not figure out how to turn it on. We contacted the front desk. They said they were aware of the situation and working on it. They sent a man to our room who looked at the thermostat and could not turn it on. We asked for another room and was told that others were experiencing the same and they were working on it. They gave us one extra blanket. The following day we were informed that the thermostat has to be turned on by the front service desk. The daytime person turned it on and we had no issue with the temp after that. We did have to request extra pillows because the pillows are very thin. Also, even though it is a non smoking hotel, the smoke from the people on the sidewalk outside creeps into your room. Our shower leaked and we had to call maintenance for that but they fixed it quickly. Everyone was sick. The maintenance, housekeeping and front desk were all coughing. But it was that way all over Bucharest every where we went. My daughter got sick while we were there and the staff was nice about getting us hot water for the medicine we got from the pharmacy. They also told us we could refill our water bottles from the machine at the bar. I started feeling bad the last night and after getting home found out I had rhinovirus and Flu A. But it could have come from any of the places we visited or from the Bolt drivers as everyone we came into contact with was coughing. I just wish the front service people would not have been coughing when we checked in and that the guy would have known to turn on our heat. The hotel itself is a party vibe. Loud music in the lobby with a lot of cursing. Not a place for young children. They offer you shots when you check in. But once you get into the hallways it is just a regular hotel. Nice exercise room. They have a room for ironing your clothes which was nice. The cleaning lady came in once while we were there and was quick and efficient. Like I said, If we had not froze the first night, it would have been a much higher rating.

Great location in the Old Town near a lot of bars and restaurants. Clean and tidy. Staff are very friendly and we appreciated the upgrade and the welcome drink. The room felt quite basic for the price. No kettle, wardrobe, iron (they do have ironing facilities on site though) and one small pillow each (staff kindly provided additional pillows). Towels felt thin and worn out, air con was noisy and difficult to use. Drinks at the bar were expensive.
