The staff and accommodations are great. This hotel is different. It is fun. The lobby is a great hang out spot, like a giant living room. There is space away from the bar or near it. The outside is also great for adults or families. We stayed with our young kid and they loved it. I imagine most people leaving poor reviews did not do their research. The Moxy website has ample pictures and information about the style of the hotel, the rooms, the parking, etc.

First time staying at a Moxy and I’m a fan. I wouldn’t stay more than 1 or 2 nights, and I definitely wouldn’t have more than two people in the room, but for quick getaway it’s great.||Rooms are creatively designed using the small space. The head to head beds were fun. Room was very clean and the shower pressure and temperature were superb. Loved the iron room on each floor where I was able to get an extra towel and toothbrush. ||Check-in at the bar earned me drink tokens which we used. We actually sat at the bar for a couple of hours. It was a vibe! Plenty of seating in the common spaces inside and out. Pool table, foosball, etc for entertainment. Music in the lobby and on the floors was great. ||Walking distance to a host of restaurants.

Perfection!!! Staff were immediately super kind and helpful as we walked in. I love how the bartender doubles as the host and everything is so relaxed/hipster. Rooms look minimalist but not cheap in any sense of the word. Decor is gorgeous and artsy without being overdone, and the free drink is a wonderful welcome. Stay here to be close to anything downtown; we walked to our concert then had 1am pizza. It seemed kid friendly but I’d reserve this hotel for adult getaways based on the vibe. Want to stay in every Moxy now!!!!

Great location & cool place to hang out downtown. Nice bar & lounge area. We enjoyed the atmosphere and shuffle board area. The room was pretty small, but efficient. The only complaint that I have is the beds seem smaller than a standard queen and not very luxurious. Loved the shower! 🚿 |The staff found an item we left behind which was very sentimental in value, and kept it safe for us until we could return to pick it up later that week. Greatly appreciated!

We stayed at the Moxy Chattanooga over the weekend while attending a high school reunion. The hotel has a fun vibe and the staff makes you feel incredibly welcome. One team member named Albert went above and beyond for us to make sure our stay was enjoyable and assisted me with some reunion logistics. Thank you Moxy. Well done

So convenient to hop on the free shuttle to go anywhere you need. The staff were all so friendly and helpful! The lobby felt so comfortable we hung out there alot and let my daughter play with all the games. Breakfast sandwich was great and the latte was a treat! Our room was comfortable for my husband daughter and I. Everything was clean and kept looking nice. Overall a wonderful experience!

Google
A very unique place. Kind of a 2010s pinterest throwback. I like it. There are a lot of tempting, cozy seating areas that can lead to good social moments. I like most aspects of the room, I had a doubele, but there is an ugly cold light in the entryway to the room that is linked to the rest of the nice, atmospheric upper lighting. It’s frustrating wanting to be able to have a medium amount of light, and knowing there are separate lights, but it’s linked to the same switch. The service is incredibly mixed. The rudest of the rude is mixed with the best of the best. The staff roles seem broader in responsibility than in most hotels, but I think I’d prefer it if different workers did different things and were able to be passionate or be really good at one thing. The most stark thing was the bartenders. One indoor bartender was great, and so was the outdoor bartender, but the other indoor bartender upcharged us for not sitting at the bar the whole time and was really not clear about where those boundaries that qualify as a walk-off are. It was frustrating. Final note: no fridge! Plan accordingly.

Very nice staff! Every person I came in contact with, greeted me with a smile, seemed very happy to see me. I love the location. Very easy to find. Nice, near by restaurants. Great drinks and food. Clean rooms. Very beautiful scenery. This was my first and not my last time staying at The Moxy Hotel.

Yelp
Such a fun hotel in a cute area of downtown! We booked this hotel as it was a great price but also because we stayed at typical hotels so much that we wanted something different and unique. Checking in at the bar was a bit a stretch for a young family but thankfully we enjoyed the fun atmosphere, tons of free games to play, high quality gym and all the extra little features around the hotel. Our room felt like an AirBnB in a city condo! Staff was helpful and friendly. So glad we made the decision to book this hotel. It's a block from Frothy Monkey and the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo which their location makes for amazing pics!

Yelp
My wife and I live in St. Petersburg, FL, and were recent victims of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. We booked a two night stay at the Moxy about two months ago, and when it came time for our trip, the airline cancelled the flight with hurricane Milton due to hit us. The management at the Moxy chose to refund 1/2 of my payment and keep 1/2. I 100% understand I booked a non-refundable rate, and this policy is in place to avoid too many people from cancelling last minute and the hotel not having time to rebook the rooms. However, I sure would hope there would be reasonable exceptions to that policy, and my exception of being impacted by hurricane Milton would be a good enough reason to refund the booking. Seems like an easy customer service fail by their management, but maybe I'm the one being unreasonable, it is just super frustrating.

Yelp
Decided to stay the night at Moxy in downtown for one night due to a concert in the area. The atmosphere was a cool experience, but there are a lot of flaws. Check-in is at the bar and if the bartender is busy working on drinks it takes awhile to check in especially if it's when everyone else is checking in. The rooms are very small, but not a big deal if you are traveling solo/a couple. The parking is challenging, but if you get there early and don't move your car the entire time of your stay you won't lose your spot. My only issue is when we first checked in we were told there was a $50 fully refundable accidental deposit, and after check out it would be refunded. When we left I got a final receipt and there was no deposit fee on my final copy, but days later I was charged $80 from the Moxy. With no room damages, nothing billed to the room, etc I'm very confused. I'm at a WEEK of waiting to be refunded, but I've called AND emailed the hotel and they aren't able to give me an explanation of what exactly is this $80 for and when/if I will get my money back. We fully paid for the room months in advance and there was nothing on the website about a deposit, the $80 isn't even on my final receipt. Upset with how they handle business and taking money from customers without any explanation. Would not stay again.

Yelp
Great hotel! Friendly staff, clean rooms, pretty decor! We love staying here. I have never seen a bug in the rooms. The gym is funky but enough equipment to get a good workout. Free spicy water!

Yelp
You know what? I really like the Moxy line of Bonvoy properties. I was saying that it's a little like a scaled-down and more affordable W, with its trendy dark and slightly sexy vibes. It doesn't try too hard, and I appreciate it's a hotel that has all intentions of being accessible to younger and less flush travelers. What you can expect: tiny but tidy rooms that verge on utilitarian with an abundance of wall hooks but no closets, beds with drawers. underneath but no dressers, comfortable beds but no kings. It was just the type of lifesaver we needed for a quick stay in town as we passed through during a long road trip. We wanted to check out Chattanooga, but this was not an extended stay. It checked all the boxes. It reminds me of the type of place I'd typically stay in NYC, where you're not going to be spending much time in the room other than to sleep. That said, the lobby/bar area is pretty attractive with plenty of areas to sit and hang out. There may not be coffee makers in the rooms, but who really needs a keurig, the weakest coffee, when you can get complimentary drip in the lobby or use one your free drink doubloon for an espresso drink in the cafe? Unless there's something big going on with the University in town, I'm guessing, the rooms here are very budget-friendly. Good value in droves at the Moxy!

Yelp
This hotel is a in a great location. You can walk to a ton of restaurants and around downtown really. They have valet but also self parking. Their self parking is really convenient if you don't want to do valet. The rooms are small but you should expect that going into a Moxy. They have everything you would need. Plus you should be enjoying the city and not camped up in your room. The atmosphere is fun and casual. You check in at the bar just like the other Moxys. This is not a hotel for everyone, so if you don't like bars, small rooms, community irons this brand of hotel may not be your cup of tea.

Yelp
Cute place to stay in the middle of Downtown Chattanooga. Walking distance to many great places. The lounge area has a lot of things to do and friendly bartenders.

Yelp
Our first time at this location. We had two rooms; when we checked in around 7:30 pm local on 12/1, Kristen, the one at the bar/check-in counter, seemed as if we were a nuisance. Her demeanor was off-putting, and she was not very engaged with us. We did not feel welcomed. Upon first glance, the rooms were "nice" with decor but not very comfortable. The showers did not have any vents, so it steamed up. The hot/cold dials were switched, and dust was on all items. Our room faced the rear lot adjacent to the pizza place. This was horrible; the sound of people talking and cars was heard, and the windows seemed not to block anything out. The bed was thin on a board. We've stayed at hostels with a better setup. After checking in, we returned to the bar to have drinks and eat. We decided to stay at this location because the website lists the bar as having breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The guys at the bar were very vague about their food service and would not provide a menu, and one even said we don't do food, only drinks, and asked that we walk down the road for food. This was a bait and switch since even the site lists food service. The morning of our check out, the small coffee shop was filled with eight people waiting for items. Once we got our things, the lids of the cups did not fit over the cups tightly. When sipping, coffee would run out the sides. and they were very, very thin. At check out, the front desk agent did not seem to care about our stay, not even asking how it was or thanking us. Only the Valet gentleman was kind and concerned. Overall, while we are lifetime members loyal to the Marriott brand, this was our first Moxy location and a colossal failure. We've decided never to stay at a Moxy again.

Yelp
This hotel is sooooooo cool. It's definitely a millennial vibe. You check in at the bar and you get tokens for a free drink. The main area is full of life size games with plenty of seating. Near the elevator it's more private seating but still with the vibe. At night it definitely turns into a lounge/ bar vibe. I loved that the elevators were locked with a room key and the back entrance is more private to avoid the night crowd. The rooms was industrial. The water pressure and aesthetics of the bathroom were perfect. The beds and pillows are firmer than I would have liked. It's a cool space, but definitely party fun vibes.

Yelp
This hotel is cute and fun! We only stayed one night and unfortunately we won't be able to stay again. While the hotel was nice and the pops of color and fun were great, there were a few things that will keep us from coming back. 1st, pets are allowed everywhere, every room, every space. I have allergies and never would have booked knowing that none of the rooms are pet free. My sister in-law selected this hotel so I made the best of it. Our room had a slight lingering odor so I woke up congested and one of the elevators smelled awful from a pet accident. 2nd, the layout of our room with 2 beds was beyond strange. The beds are head to head with one side of each bed against the wall so someone has to climb in over the other person. The person sleeping by the wall had a reading light and spot for a phone, eyeglasses, etc, but the other person did not. There was a round table provided that could have been moved into place and used for a book or water glass, but that wouldn't help the fact that there wasn't a reading light in that spot. I also must mention the location of the TV. There was no spot in this room where you could sit back, relax and watch tv. Neither bed faces the tv so if you are hoping to watch a movie, it's a no go. It was a really strange layout. I should also note there is a window from the room to the bathroom and if you want to close the blind you have to climb on one of the beds to reach the chain. On a positive note the Moxy Cocktail was fantastic and the lobby seating areas were great, as was the staff.

Yelp
I think this is maybe a good hotel for students? Or on a budget? The rooms are incredibly small. Very cold aesthetic, cement ceilings, vinyl floors. No iron in the room, which sucks if you're on business or need to dress nice. It's clean. So there's that.

Yelp
I was reading other recent reviews and Zachary's stay was very similar to mine. I would add that the front desk person, probably the same person Zachary was referring to was not only completely disinterested, but snotty. The valet guys were great though and the only saving grace of my overall mediocre experience. My room was bare minimum... really tiny, no coffee, no closet. Everything seemed cheap, tacky and uncomfortable.

Yelp
This hotel definitely has Moxy, from the walls to the rooms it is definitely a vibe. The games in the lobby make for a nice evening and the affirmations that change by the minute give it a unique style. I couldn't tell if the hotel was the hang out spot or if the guests were just hanging out, but the bar was live and definitely the move for the night. The room was designed purposefully from the hooks on the wall to the drawers on the bed. Rather you're with your mate or a friend I recommend the double queen beds. I promise you'll thank me later. The warehouse district is in walking distance with restaurants and shopping to enjoy. The parking is validated for up to three hours if you drive. The market is a few minutes up the road and a worthwhile visit.

Yelp
Such a cute hotel at a great location, with lots of entertainment and best of all. Dog friendly

Yelp
Dog-friendly! The best part about the Moxy is its central location. It is walking distance to so many restaurants and breweries. We stayed at the Moxy on Thursday, 12/23/21. Checking in was easy and we got 2 drink tokens! We stayed in a double queen room. The room was pretty small, but it was manageable because it was so intentionally designed. The bathroom was very nice and the room felt clean. The hotel has a hostel vibe. They have a gym, work spaces downstairs with Mac desktops, and private rooms to work. We would definitely stay the the Moxy again!

Yelp
Super cute hotel with a lively lobby, trendy bar, rooms to work & nice gym. The cafe also has a really good breakfast bacon egg and cheese on waffle buns. Always enjoy my stay here!

Yelp
Unique Bistro hotel! Very modern! No closets! Pegs the full length of the room wall. Nice bar and very friendly staff!

Yelp
PRE-COVID: We stayed at the Moxy for an overnight trip to Chattanooga from Atlanta and enjoyed it, overall. Check-in was easy and casual. It was interesting since I felt like I was just checking in with my bartender or barista, not a front desk reception that I'm used to. We got drink tokens to use at the bar or for food. The room wasn't big but big enough for two. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and new. The walls are QUITE thin - early in the AM, we heard the next door neighbors and actually got pretty concerned at the extent of their argument. It sounded like someone had a bit too much fun with their friend down the hall and got herself into some trouble. At least, that's how we interpreted the hysterics . We almost took it upon ourselves to call reception to maybe have someone check in on them to make sure everything was all right but it got quieter after an hour or so. We grabbed drinks at the bar using our drink tokens and the bartenders were friendly but also very busy. We always got our drinks when we asked for them. They were always very boozy and tasty - they don't skimp on the alcohol! Overall, due to location, I would definitely stay here again - however, I do see some recent reviews claiming there seems to have been a decline in the past year. Hopefully they're not common occurrences now!

Yelp
I told them about an unsafe situation and they ignored me. Now I'm afraid I will be retaliated against. Was a good hotel but I Mads two complaints after someone sleeping in the hallways and felt unsafe after they "handled' it.

Yelp
You walk in to Moxy and check in at the bar. Super cool. We stayed for 3 days and each day the service was top notch. The bartenders were amazing. They were slinging and mixing like they were in New York City. Downstairs turns into a club at night time with plenty of cozy sitting areas, pool table, shuffleboard, and fireplaces when it gets cold (it was 95 outside so no need). Everything about this place was a hip, fun, and upity place to be. They even have their own signature cocktail, "The Moxy". I don't like sweet drinks, but it was delicious. The rooms themself are super tiny. That didn't effect us at all. The modern look was awesome and everything felt clean. The AC was kicking and the rooms did NOT have the usual moldy smell that hotels have and the floors were not sticky. My wife had been pumping while away from our baby. The amazing staff had no issues stepping away from the bar area 5-6 times a day to go back to the freezer to grab her bag of frozen milk to add to the collection and then return it to the freezer for the duration of our trip. Things like this you might not think about, but definitely a plus for breast feeding moms. When we go back to Chattanooga, this will be the place we stay no questions asked! Loved it! Location is close to many restaurants, breweries, and coffee. What more do you need? PS. The auto changing message board as you walk in the door is stupidly amazing. The witty phrases had me constantly checking for new messages!

Yelp
Stayed at The Moxy on a road trip to Kentucky. When you check in at the bar, you get tokens for a free drink. This is a nice touch and I wish we could've used it (I also wish it were clearer what you could use it on). The hotel was in a convenient location for us, walking distance to some restaurants, there was a shopping mall type of place nearby, and parking was easy and relatively inexpensive (we self-parked - the valet didn't even look up from his phone when we arrived and self parking was right behind the hotel). The rooms are small but efficient. I like the idea of the "closet" being pegs on the wall, this helps you to see what you have. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were very quiet. I probably wouldn't stay in a hotel like this if I was going to spend a lot of time in the room, but for our needs it was great. I enjoyed my stay and would do it again if stopping through Chattanooga.

Yelp
Meh. Moxy are suppose to be for people in my generation. They are suppose to be cool social places that offer amenities that young people want versus the ones they do not need like mini bars. Sadly, it missing the mark. 1. Do not book for long stays. If you want to cook or store food it is not possible or you have to use the staff fridge. 2. There is no free breakfast and they have limited options. 3. The do not have a washer or dryer but have irons. Young people do not iron but they might wash their clothes. 4. The beds are not queen size like the site says, they are full. 5. The rooms are small by American standards but still very expensive. 6. The staff there is awesome. They are super friendly and helpful. Even though many are new, they try their hardest to help. 7. The bar is cool and has great options. You get a free drink with check-in. Overall, I would not stay again. I think its best for events like holiday parties or hanging out with friends. The stay was meh. Maybe its better in a bigger city like Boston, New York, or DC. But not here. I want my washer and hot breakfast.

Kyle M.

Yelp
Hotel is awesome! Bar is awesome! Bartenders are the worst I've ever had in my life. Of the three of them, one made our drinks and they were delicious, but all three were horribly rude, unpleasant, and frankly just disrespectful. Other than that, we had a great time on our stay and will likely come back, but never to the bar unfortunately. I don't remember the people being like this when I used to live here but that kind of sucks.

Gary G.

Yelp
We stayed 4 nights over thanksgiving and enjoyed our stay. Check in is done at the bar - different. This is very well situated in downtown, right off Market Street, steps away from the Chattanooga Choo Choo, many nearby, good restaurants and shopping. The concept reminds me of European hotels; the room is quite compact with only pegs (25-30) on the wall instead of a closet, but it worked. The bathroom is relatively spacious with a large walk-in shower but the toilet is a little low for us older folks. The only minor complaint is that the bartenders aren't very attentive. My wife and I sat at the bar for about 15 minutes without either one even acknowledging us - so we left without ordering and went to another bar. The valets were very polite and attentive, however. Note that there is a mandatory parking fee of $22/day but valet service is complimentary although tipping is expected. Overall, we did enjoy our stay but were disappointed with the lack of enthusiasm from the bartenders. .

Yelp
No negatives at this hotel, if you are visiting to see the sights and socialize. Walking distance to everything. We didn't need a rental car. (Use Lyft, not Uber, from the airport.) The lobby is basically the entire first floor. Several seating areas; some with sofas and coffee tables, others with tables and benches, other spaces had games and screens, and more lounging area outside. I saw several folks inside with laptops who appeared to be working. Check-in is at the bar, right inside the front door. Valet, check-in/bartenders are super-attentive and easy-going. Rooms are ... small. But very well-designed. Not the type of room to lounge around in, but the mattresses are comfortable enough to oversleep in. The two bed configuration places them each against the wall, head to head, not side by side, which offers more privacy, I think. And instead of a closet, there are pegs on one entire wall. The only minor annoyance was that the sliding "barn door" to the bathroom didn't always stay completely shut. The free drink token gives you several choices. One, the Moxy cocktail, was so good, I ordered more later ... and the next day. :-D Would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
This is a review of the bar and outdoor patio area. I really like the setup of the bar and the selection of drinks. The outdoor area is so nice and comfortably distanced. I went on a night when it was not busy. I have heard that this place can get very busy during the weekend but there was hardly anyone here the night that I went. It was perfect. Loved the furniture and ambiance/vibe. The drinks were also great! Will definitely go back. Good place for friends or a date.

Yelp
This is worth 4-stars if you're rating as a budget hotel with an 8 or 6 in the name. As a Marriott, even for a budget hotel, expectations are higher. If you're looking for a low cost hotel, there are a few things you should know about the Moxy line. Even though it's dressed up with a hip and funky vibe, there are some trade-offs for price. The bed is a mattress on wood and very firm. It's all VERY low - maybe 18". So is the table (which only has one chair). If getting down that low is a challenge, this isn't for you. There isn't really a closet, but lots of pegs in the wall to hang stuff. You check in at the bar, which is fun as long as you do t have an issue with alcohol and get there early enough that it's not packed. It is pet friendly and there were a ton of dogs when we were there ... like everywhere. Really only an issue if you're allergic or something. Not sure what the big pad is for - hanging as a headboard. I'd think an exercise mat but there's not really enough room. The hip vibe, at least for me, kind of wears thin when the creature comforts are compromised. I'm sure their marketing department would tell me I'm just too old : )

Yelp
Came into dt Chattanooga for one night and my stay at The Moxy did not disappoint on any level. Great location to locally owned and operated businesses + cafes. All staff I encountered was just super. Jared at the bar checked me into my room and later served me the signature cocktail in exchange of a "Moxy" poker chip handed to me during the check in process. Lobby / lounge areas was very inviting for a solo traveler and a group equally with big inviting couches and pillows you just sink into; community games such as pool, shuffleboard and giant checkers. There looked to be an outdoor patio for a little nicer weather. I was placed into a corner room on the 4th floor, giving a peek of a view of King Street. The room was impeccably decorated in an industrial- modern style that I couldn't get enough of the little details; from the Edison lights in the bathroom, subway tiled floor to ceiling shower, to the leather headboard to the under bed night lights. The wall mounted flat screen tv greeted me with my name programmed into the welcome screen and a QR code for optional mobile remote. Smart tv had many options for Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, Bluetooth option as well as cable and internet tv. I enjoyed my stay at #themoxy Chattanooga and will definitely be returning, thank you for the hospitality!

Yelp
This was my first stay at the Moxy. It was a very refreshing boutique-hotel, but it is definitely geared towards younger adults or those that feel younger at heart. The rooms are tech-enabled bedrooms, the lobby was very spacey and warm. There were lots of classic games available for guests to play, like an adult playground. The staff was very friendly and you are greeted with a cocktail. Moxy Hotels is a part of Marriott, so they participate in the Bonvoy program.

Yelp
I would stay here again- so nice to see a new, fresh and very thoughtful hotel chain. Love all the cool hangout spots in the lobby and on the patio, and all the games to play, from checkers to pool. The rooms are super small but efficient although the platform bed wasn't very comfortable. I also absolutely hate having to go downstairs for coffee in the morning! Staff was polite but seemed more interested in talking to each other than the guests. I did also appreciate the security measures of using a room key to access the stairs and elevator.

Yelp
Cannot WAIT to return to the Moxy!!! The staff is friendly, the rooms are comfortable and cozy, and the drinks were amazing!!! Their signature drink was to die for!! Sad I didn't get the chance to try the "smore's naans", but looking forward to trying them on our next visit!! We loved the hooks on the wall! They kept everything off the floor and kept all of our belongings organized. We have plans to visit NYC in a few months and we were so impressed with the Moxy, we cancelled our Airbnb reservations and booked a room at the Moxy instead. We loved that we were able to log in to our Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. accounts AND that Showtime was offered free of cost!! Also, I don't know what housekeeping uses in the hallways, but it smells SO good!! Every time we came into the hotel we were always in awe of how great it smelled. So excited to come back!!!

Yelp
Quirky does not mean comfortable. The hotel looks great. The lobby and the common areas are airy and roomy. The quirky room layout does not translate to a comfortable stay. You have to climb on a bed to reach the thermostat. Our room had two beds. The "headboard" between the beds was a large moveable pillow that moved every time someone shifted.

Yelp
Cleanliness: Very clean hotel. The rooms are spotless and feel spacious. Social distancing and sanitation practices are implemented throughout the hotel and all the staff wear masks. Proximity: Short walking distance to several great restaurants. Staff: very friendly and courteous staff at check-in, the bar, and via phone. Staff provided helpful tips and suggestions for restaurants and things to see. Outside seating/patio is lovely with many areas for seating. Chic design throughout the hotel. Each area is well-designed and fits the overall theme of the hotel. This will be my go-to hotel at any future visits to Chattanooga!

Yelp
I got stuck In Chattanooga due to a hurricane in Florida. The two female bartenders were amazing and they helped calm my anxiety. I honestly had such a great time chatting I forgot I was stuck. Those girls deserve a RAISE!!

Yelp
Worst travel/hotel experience by far. STAY FAR AWAY I'll start by saying I travel for work and basically live out of hotels. What happened with Moxy, is something I will never forget. Buckle up. I stayed at this location for close to two weeks. On maybe the 5th day, I woke up to numerous random charges on my person card. They had taken out an amount of close to $300, put it back in, then took it back out. There was another charge of $400 as well. I immediately called and asked for a manager, waited all day, and never heard back. Probably because the entire staff hangs out and drinks at the bar all day. The next day, I found they had charged my card another $150. I finally was able to get ahold of a "manager". They said they didn't have a card on file for our staff and "picked mine" WHAT?! The manager asked for me for my PERSONAL baking information so she could access my funds and see for herself. Extreme overstep. They promised me they would not be taking anymore money out. They also couldn't explain why they took over $800 out in the first place. The next day, I discovered they took ANOTHER amount of $150 as well as a charge of $90. I never got answers, I never received any sort of apology either. At this point my bank was fully involved and monitoring a fraudulent situation, and I had also made a call to our company lawyer. This hotel is a joke, the management is ridiculous, and I will continue to make people aware of their fraudulent, unprofessional, careless and pathetic ways of doing business.

Yelp
Stayed for three nights. Fun and creative designs throughout the hotel but had a good laugh when I told my girlfriend that the room felt a little like a 1920's insane asylum(not that I've ever seen one in person). The reason for the 3 stars is due to the service, size of the room, no ice machines, wasn't able to take advantage of all the amenities due to covid but there was a wedding party that was freely roaming the hotel without masks. Even with all this, probably would have been our fichoice to stay again next time we're back but will think twice because of the charge for parking. Can't believe they charge $15 for parking! I think they lost a customer because of this... sad So we got a bill for $50 for parking when we got back home. Just changed my 3 star review to 2

Yelp
Awesome hotel with a really cool vibe! Close to restaurants in the area and within walking distance to the Chattanooga Choo Choo area. There is a free bus shuttle to the downtown area of the Aquarium... My only complaint is the shower door does not close...which was highly annoying! Water gets on the floor because the shower door does not stay closed. Please fix this...it's highly annoying and potentially dangerous. Otherwise, a wonderful stay and very pet friendly! Everyone has a dog...:)

Yelp
What can I even say about the Moxy? Truly a crazy experience. I have never been to a hotel that was basically more like a club with rooms that looked like an escape room. The rooms were very strange but it made for a groovy atmosphere! Very long layout with beds back to back instead of side to side! We couldn't stop laughing at how odd everything was! I loved it for the uniqueness but honestly it was hard to maneuver in the room and definitely difficult to watch tv. We had four people and were beyond squished. You can bring furry friends with you! We had two pups with us and we loved feeling welcomed. It can be hard to find places that love dogs. When you check in they give you drink tokens (haha what?? So cool!) We were there on the weekend and it was bouncing. The lobby is more like a bar/lounge and people were hanging out there at all times. They also had some strange food so check out the menu in advance if you plan on eating there. This is not the place for a relaxing escape of a weekend, but definitely a place to party. They have fun games in the lobby! Great for a group! Good location, it was near a lot downtown. We would definitely return to the Moxy! It is certainly an experience!

Yelp
Such a fun place to stay! This was my first time at a Moxy and I love the vibe they go for. I feel like it's the only type of hotel that someone in the millennial generation will seek out over an Airbnb or something like that. The rooms are more like "sleeping quarters" whereas the rest of the amenities are in the common area as others have said. It makes it feel like an upscale hostel. The bar in the lobby was great and the first round of drinks was on the house! I feel like I'll take notice of these hotels more when I travel and would definitely love staying again. I'm sold on their brand!

Yelp
Going up and down the Moxy elevator we noticed that many other guests reeked of marijuana. Head's up - you'll need to be stoned to "get" the Moxy. The road just outside our window was the all-night raceway for motorcycles with straight pipes - not to mention many emergency vehicles. Our room (324) lacked a closet (not cool) and even lacked a small 'fridge (also not cool) but was set up like a hot-sheet joint for gay sex. The oh-so-cool door to the bathroom kept falling off - I guess that's not important if you are not really planning to stay for very long. Accommodations are NOT equal to any of the better chain motels - oh, and you get to also pay extra for parking. Breathlessly attempting to be hip the Moxy chokes.

Yelp
Best best best best stay I've ever had! I stayed at 5 diamond resorts, 5 hotels, Forbes, bla bla bla and this by far was the best! It wasn't the bed or the shower (although they were brand new and great) but it was the service, the cocktails, the food, the atmosphere.... The pleasant look when you go to the bar and see Debra and say "hey what's good to drink...?" And she doesn't reply with the same millennial response "everything".... NOPE Ashe replies with "well I can make ya a badass blueberry margarita..." and im like hell yes! I don't consider myself a millennial because I'm almost 40 and hate technology BUTTTT this hotel was clean, friendly, and ON IT! I've never had quick and fast service like this, happy faces every time I came down to the lobby, and one of the best things- a quick and clean and very fast elevator! Yep I said it- a fast elevator- 2 to choose from! The location was dynamic and the vibe was unreal and very REFRESHING! Thanks again moxy! Im headed to AZ next!

Yelp
Fun spot to get a really good Old-Fashion and shoot some pool or relax out by the fire.

Yelp
I have wanted to try this place for sometime now. Traveling back from Lynchburg from the Jack Daniels Distillery I decided to stop for the night here. I love the bar check in and the free drink token ( can't beat that). The room is minimalist style which works for me. Plenty of space and the basic needs. Very cool modern designs and I love the light around the bottom of the bed. The bar area is very busy. Lots of games and the large TV is great for the game. It's in a great location for restaurants- try urban stack, two ten jack or tupelo honey, all are great. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again

Yelp
My teenaged son and I stopped here when on a road trip in July 2022. We both loved it and want to visit again when we have more time to enjoy the hotel and Chattanooga. I love that check in happens at the bar and includes free drink tokens. The room was a great price and very cool--hip, comfortable and functional.

Yelp
Excellent location making town very walkable. Close to great breweries, restaurants and distillery! Funky decor throughout the hotel. Loved the minimalist rooms. Very clean and welcoming. Comfy sleep. Will definitely return.

Yelp
Stayed at the Moxy for a weekend getaway with my husband. A really cool hotel vibe! The Railyard had a great vibe and was nice to not have to leave the hotel area for a drink. The Got Moxy was so good!! I really liked that when we checked in we were able to each get a free drink, a really nice touch! If your looking for a place with Extra in room amenities this isn't the place. No extra blankets or pillows in the room and we had only 2 towels. They aren't doing daily room service so when we asked for the towels to be changed out it was like asking for the entire room to be serviced. Wasn't a big deal but just thought I would share that extra items that normal hotels have isn't here. Still a great time though!!

Yelp
Super cute place. I checked in late after a long travel day, it was busy and the computers were down but Ty was amazing!! Friendly and calm with great customer service!!

Yelp
Beautiful environment. Very clean. Beyond wonderful staff. LOVED seeing Porcelanosa products in the bathrooms. My favorite part was I did not even need to leave the hotel at night to have fun! I also loved that it was pet friendly. I don't have a dog but I saw the cutest little friends. The outdoor/indoor lounge was the coolest! Never been to a hotel that made me feel so welcome! I hope to make it back next time I'm in Chattanooga!

Yelp
Very eclectic, hip, upbeat and modern hotel. The room was very clean and the staff was very nice. I had a great experience. You check in at the bar. The rooms have wall hooks to keep things off the floor. The lounging area was very retro and spacious. They even have a small library area. Such a fun place to stay. I wish I had taken more picI loved it.
