Moxy Duesseldorf South

Overall very good. Price wise a very good option with the tram a two minute the walk from the entrance with regular departures to central Dusseldorf. After checking in and making my way to the lifts I returned to reception to ask for some water. At this point I was then offered the complimentary drink. Not too happy as the drink was never offered at checkin and only happened due to me returning seconds later and asking for a drink.

Loves the place. The rooms are compact and clean. The location is very good and you get a silent atmosphere. Breakfast is too good with varieties. Nice reception area with games to spend time.

The hotel was in a residental area and super quiet which was great. There are a few food spots and grocery stores within walking distance so if you need to stock up on snacks, you have a lot of options. The room was clean and well stocked though there's no fridge which was a little annoying and no phone to speak to reception - and since housekeeping is every 3 days for sustainability, you'd need to go downstairs to reception if you run out of any toiletries or need assistance. The staff were really friendly and the general vibe of the hotel is aesthetic (especially the lounge area and the elevator) so for the price, it's a great spot.

My boyfriend and I had such a fantastic stay at Moxy Düsseldorf south from 9-10 of August. The vibe of the hotel is super fun and stylish, but what really made our visit memorable was the amazing service from “MARVIN”one of the staff . He was welcoming, friendly, and a amazing person Marvin’s positive energy and genuine care turned a great stay into an unforgettable one. Thanks for making our trip so much better – we’ll definitely be coming back!

If they aim to be one of the best hotels in Düsseldorf, they are definitely succeeding. The room is very comfortable, parking is convenient (€17), and they offer a welcome drink and an excellent breakfast. The hotel is about 30 minutes from the city center by tram, with the tram stop just a 3-minute walk away. Highly recommended for families.

Warning !! overbooking ! It may be a good hotel if you have the chance to get your room. I called in the afternoon at 2PM for an arrival a 8PM to ensure I could arrive "late" for a reservation I did weeks ago, got the confirmation it was ok. And was informed that I was overbooked when I arrived. They booked for another hotel... 30min away from there. But the story does not end here. They call me a taxi to go this other hotel. Surprise when I get to the reception : they have no room for me, the Moxy guy did not give the right adress to the taxi driver (or they did not understand each other...) so I had to book for another taxi to get to the righ "Plan B hotel" I ended in a room at 10PM. Is it even legal to do so? To send you to an hotel located 25min away without even a call while you took the time to call in the afternoon? No compensation nothing offered at the Moxy One advise : run away if you just want to travel peacefully and ensure to sleep when you want in the room you booked

no kettle, no tea, no ironbox, no daily cleaning or change of towels, little breakfast options and no warm food and the most expensive in the tier. Will not come back.
