Moxy Frankfurt Airport (Frankfurt, Hesse) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Though its location clearly aims for the business travel set, Moxy Frankfurt Airport punches far above its weight in the style department. The lobby bar pulls triple duty as the check-in desk, co-working/people-watching lounge, and easygoing snack bar for light bites at any hour. The anytime fitness center offers a surprisingly robust selection of machines. Sleek rooms hew close to contemporary design standards with clean lines, lots of light, and state-of-the-art sound and screencasting gear." - Tablet Hotels

This hotel is awesome. The rooms are super comfy, and the shower and bathroom are huge, perfect for anyone with mobility issues. It's also really great for kids and pets. Breakfast was seriously one of the best I've ever had, a mix of European stuff. You can almost always snag an Uber to the airport for under 20 euros. All in all, a fantastic stay.

I stayed for two days between Friday, October 3rd and Sunday, October 5th. I was not at all satisfied with the hotel. My notes are as follows: 1- There was no water in the room. 2- There was no telephone in the room. 3- There were no cleaning and protection kits in the bathroom. 4- There were no slippers in the room. 5- The next day, when I was leaving the room, I requested that it be cleaned. I told both the cleaning staff on the floor and the gentleman at the front desk. Both teams confirmed it, but when I returned on Saturday evening, neither the towels had been changed nor the room cleaned. Because I have dust allergies, cleanliness is very important to me. I immediately went downstairs and reported the situation to the lady at the reception desk, who said that the relevant cleaning staff were not there today. I spoke directly with the relevant staff member and told them that I had confirmed the situation and that I had also communicated this to the other staff member at the reception desk. She then apologized and said she would bring the towels immediately. I waited, but she couldn't bring them right away. She then said she would come and bring them to the room later. She came to the room, but unfortunately, the towels didn't smell very good. 6- Later that same day, around afternoon, we called to make sure the room had been cleaned, but no one answered the phone. We assumed the cleaning had been done. However, as I mentioned in the previous point, it hadn't been done, which was disappointing. 7- I stayed on the fourth floor. There wasn't much noise, and I was able to sleep. 8- I wasn't very satisfied with the bed either; my back hurt. 9- There is no closet in the room to put your belongings. They just hung four hooks on the wall, that's all. Yes, there was no closet in the room. 10- Thankfully, there was hand soap, shampoo, and body wash in the bathroom :) 11- The staff's behavior was normal. 12- The coffees I drank downstairs were good. 13- The internet was free and worked well.

Dear fellow traveler who got rebooked and had to spend a night at this hotel — I feel your pain. I ended up staying here for about six and a half hours after a flight delay, and while it definitely doesn’t replace the comfort of being home as planned, it’s honestly not too bad. The bed was comfortable enough for a proper rest, the room was clean, and the shower had great water pressure. It’s not luxurious or particularly charming, but it serves its purpose well. You’ll get a decent night’s sleep, a refreshing shower, and be ready to move on in the morning.

Good service and warm welcome. The room is small but good enough to have a good sleep. 25min from city center or 4 min to the airport by train S8/S9 not far from the hotel. REVE supermarket next to the hotel. Very nice and convenient

I was out up here due to a flight cancellation. Really nice modern hotel. Very neat, perfectly clean. Staff very polite, friendly and helpful. Nice bar, good choice of drinks. I didn't eat here though. Highly recommend.

Was given a room directly next to the elevator. Went down to ask for a different room, he checked and said all rooms are booked. Totally understand that however, there are obviously other rooms open that have yet to be checked into. I hate to complain but as a Lifetime Platinum Elite member, this is not the level of service I am accustomed to. My profile says, high floor, end of hall. And 99% of the time this is exactly what I get. However, at this Moxy, it was not even looked at. Again, I understand the hotel is fully booked, I get that. But there are definitely rooms that have yet to be checked into that they could have switched me too. Why bother having any form of status if you can’t even change rooms?

We had a long layover and decided to get a hotel room to rest in between. Great location (1 train stop away from the airport) and very nice staff. Room was average and slightly on the smaller size but adequate for our needs.

The hotel itself is nice, the rooms are quite small, but they don't hide that from you. Breakfast was good. My only complaint was their pillows, yes, pillows. I stay often at hotels for business and most, if not all, provide two pillows on a bed, one hard, one soft. Not the Moxy, the pillow they provide was an overstuffed hard and thick pillow. I simply could not rest my head on as the pillow wouldn't collapse at all, stuffed as firm as a sack of flower (see the pic). I called the front desk and they told me that's all they have. Great, no sleep for me. I tried rolling up towels, etc., but nothing really worked. I ended up the next day at the Hyatt Place around the corner. If the Moxy would at least stock a few softer less stuffed pillows that you could request from housekeeping, I would stay there again.
