as a gold member, when I check in, I kindly asked if I have a complimentary upgrade, because I was shown in the Marriott app that I am eligble for a room upgrade : when I check in, the staff will try his best to upgrade me.
But I was rejected by a reason' there is not an upgrade room because all the rooms in the hotel are the same' and when I went to the room, I was surprised, that I was assigned to a double bed room, even not a queen side bed or something match my normal expectation. I don't believe a hotel with three stars has no rooms with queen size bed. that is how their hotel staff treat a golden member of Marriott.
and I was also kinda abused by asking me : is that my first time visiting Moxy hotel, just because I was trying to ask for a tooth kit and shaving kit...
it shows the staff arrogance and innocence for what he knows and what he should know to satisfy his customers...
Not recommended at all.
If you want to be happy in Lausanne, don't choose this hotel.
