The hotel is an affordable and convenient option when you need to stay near the Munich conference center, or any of the companies in the area. Atmosphere in the hotel is good. Lounge has some cozy spots where you can work or relax. Rooms are basic with a small bathroom, lacking some space for a longer stay and lacking the room and furniture to work. No desk or chair. Bed is nothing more than ok, pillows a bit small and thin for my liking. Airconditioning and heater work well making it easy to get the right temperature. Breakfast is basic without missing anything. Can be a bit crowded when all guest choose the same time to have breakfast. Dinner options other than snacks are not available, and with the location in a business area with offices the number of restaurants is very limited. A walk to the S-bahn (~8 min) and a train to the Munich city center (~15 min) is the better option to find a proper meal. Would have given 3 stars for the whole package, but the affordable price tips the scale, so still recommend this hotel.

Moxy Munich Messe is an affordable option when looking to stay near Munich’s main conference center, the “Messe”. Aside from low rates for a room when there are no events at the Messe, would consider how much convenience getting into Munich’s city center means to you. The city is accessible by public transportation- bus stop within short distance from hotel, S-Bahn with access to airport (via a change in the city), and even an U-Bahn best accessed by bus. There is a large shopping arcade a few bus stops away. Other than that, there’s not much else in the vicinity. Inside the hotel, the rooms are compact. The ground floor has music playing and was decorated for the holidays. Lots of open space for those who want to work on their laptops or socialize. There’s even a small fitness room with a punching bag, cardio machines and some free weights. I skipped breakfast so am unable to comment. They did recognize my loyalty membership status and as a gift offered me a bottle of water and a cereal bar and 500 points. Experience at this property was short - what I experienced & observed was average.

Very disappointing experience at this location. The staff’s attitude and unwillingness to assist were truly frustrating. As a frequent traveler across Asia, Europe, North and South America, and a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member with high status, I expected at least a minimum level of support and professionalism. Due to a change in travel plans, I arrived one day earlier than my original booking. Upon arrival, I was told the hotel was “sold out” and that I needed to find another place for the night. When I checked online, I found that rooms were actually available and showed this to the receptionist. She then admitted there was a room, but said the TV wasn’t working. I mentioned that this was perfectly fine — I just needed a place to rest before early meetings. After pushing further, they “found” another room but quoted double the rate I was already confirmed for the following days, refusing to match or even come close to the original price. Given the late hour and lack of alternatives, I reluctantly accepted. The room itself was another disappointment — not as clean as expected, with clear signs of poor maintenance. The food service and quality were also well below typical Moxy and Marriott standards. While I appreciate Marriott’s consistency and hospitality worldwide, this property does not represent the brand well. I do not recommend this location and will not be returning.

We came here for a meeting and spent 5 nights. |The hotel / bathroom room are fine. The shower has all the pressure you would want. ||The staff, they are an incredible team. All 3 shifts have the most professional and personable staff I’ve found. You walk in at any time and you feel like Norm from Cheers, or you’ve walked into your friend’s house with everyone you know there. They have Interest in not only what you did today, but how you liked it, remember, and recommendations for whet to do next. We went to 2 restaurants that were not on our radar and they were excellent. |The Moxy itself is set up for a laid back, personal and professional experience and this hotel should be the model of what they should be

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review for Moxy Munich i recently discovered the brand-new moxy munich by marriott — and honestly, it’s a perfect mix of playful energy, great design, and urban comfort. the interiors are vibrant, modern, and full of character — every corner feels like a stylish backdrop for photos or short clips. the staff was super friendly and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience personal and easygoing. i also loved the open lounge vibe — perfect for working, meeting friends, or just relaxing with a drink. location-wise, it couldn’t be better: close to everything yet calm enough to feel like a little retreat in the city. moxy is definitely not your typical hotel — it’s fun, social, and designed for people who love creativity and lifestyle. highly recommend checking it out if you’re in munich.

My son and I stayed here just a few days ago. We were exploring Munich, and it was a good base. It's a bare bones hotel, and their advertising makes it look far more exciting than the reality. The room is very small with two twin beds, which was expected, and a small bath. Thankfully, this hotel allowed us to open a window to get fresh air. The staff, while friendly, don't go above and beyond to serve. I would stay here again, but only if I had nowhere else to stay. This is pretty far out of downtown Munich, you have to take the S2 - S-Bahn in and out of town.

Echoing last reviewer comments. Staff’s attitude (some not all) - particularly the two short ladies with blonde hair at the bar/front desk, were very rude on multiple occasions. Example - wanted to order lunch at 1:00 pm and were told by one of them in a very rude unprofessional manner to come back later because she was busy. There was no other customers in the lobby. Food was awful too - Microwaved burgers…. I don’t usually write reviews but this particular Moxy is consistently disappointing. Four Points Marriott is a block away and it is much much nicer hotel.

Service staff was friendly and patient. My best decision made that day for a day use to rest after our red eye flight before catching another night flight. Around 10 minutes walk from the train station which was still manageable with proper footpaths!

Yelp
The staff here are wonderful. The food is basic and not very good. It's about a 20-25 minute walk to the closest restaurant. Tooms are nice. Good a/c. Great shower. Everything I need. Can to the airport €110

Yelp
Convenient to both rail and bus service to central Munich. I stayed there for a week at the start of Oktoberfest and was impressed with the friendly staff, the breakfast options, grab and go counter, and the fitness center. The bar and lobby and lively most nights and the rooms are comfortable - small, but comfortable. There are closer options to central Munich, but if you're looking convenience at a reasonable price, the Mossy Messe is a great choice.

Yelp
I don't often review hotels but I felt the need to give this on a 5 star review. The hotel itself is nice, clean, nice breakfast, convenient to the train to get you right into the heart of Munich. The thing about this property was the staff! Everyone we encountered was amazing from front desk to housekeepers to managers especially Vladimir and Eleonora! Thank you for the great stay!

Yelp
Nice and spacious hotel located in Aschheim, which is quite far from city centre. The prices are definitely more reasonable than closer to the city. The rooms were clean and spacious with enough counter space for a couple. I'm giving it 3 stars as staff wasn't the friendliest nor very helpful.

Yelp
Brand new hotel next to the 'Messe München'. Clean and comfortable rooms. Continental breakfast is ok, but not very good. Kind and helpful staff.

Yelp
This is a perfect place for the solo traveler or the ones who are looking to spend more time in Munich than in the hotel. For international travelers with mobile phones/tablets they have USB outlets (no converters needed). Good mix of grab and go food along with some cooked menu items to be had at the bar. Staff is more than friendly and willing to give recommendations for more "local spots" continental breakfast had a fair amount of options. May run out of items later in service when crowded. Area is mostly business/tech/light industry. Pay to park your car on grounds but it's not really necessary unless traveling to more remote areas outside of public transit. About a 6 block walk from the nearest S-Bahn stop. Taxis to Marienplatz cost around 20€ (center of the city) No closets, but did have a few hangers for hanging clothing. Ability to connect devices to television. No phone in room to promote interaction with staff. Ideal for tech savvy travelers and for those on the go. I've stayed at both moxy's in the Munich area (Munich airport a year prior). I prefer this location over the airport location only for the ease of getting to public transportation from the hotel. (Airport location has a shuttle next door that operates for a limited schedule or taxi to the airport for 25€ end of transit line)

Yelp
Pros: Very nice staff and good size rooms. They have USB chargers and have clean rooms. Easy to find, easy to park ($7.00) daily. Hot modern showers. S-bahn is right down the block, maybe 6 mins away and takes you straight to Marienplatz. Cons: A/C is nothing like it is in America, gets hot in the room and this was in December so summer must be brutal. And I think they dont believe in ice in europe. You can get ice cubes on request but they rarely give it anywhere in town. No vent in the bathrooms which I found strange too. Overall great place and made the stay in Munich great!
