This is an amazing hotel right next to Broadway. The staff was friendly, kind and attentive. The check in process was super easy at the bar. Live music in the lobby, and games with a nice seating area. The hotel gave us a great room with a fantastic view, in a perfect cozy room. Would love to come back.

Having had 2 hotels cancel our reservation, I booked this at last minute. We booked a windowless room that was compact but perfect for our 2 night stay. Located in the middle of the hustle & bustle. Hotel had an industrial style design, country singer in the lobby and a 24/7 coffee station. Bed was super comfortable and room had all the amenities that you might require, including hairdryer and clothes steamer. Toiletries and soft towels with a spacious walk in shower. Would definitely visit again, location is all you could wish for. Did not use roof top restaurant.

So look, this is a fantastic location for the Old Town scene. This is a very old building remodeled to accommodate a cool modern boutique hotel vibe. The rooms are extremely efficient. They did some creative things that might seem more like a hostel than a hotel such as a common room for ironing clothes. But I liked it. The shower was hot and the lobby was cool and relaxing and they give you two complimentary drinks. But the rooftop restaurant was just amazing. It’s both indoor and outdoor. I had Chicken piccata and it was scrumptious. The chicken was sort of southern fried but in an Italian dish. And the vegetable medley was no afterthought. It was a treat all to itself. The Moxy is a great location to experience Nashville nightlife or day life.

An Absolute Gem in Nashville — A Must-Visit! Our stay at Moxy Downtown was exceptional from start to finish. The entire team was warm, hardworking, and incredibly attentive. From check-in to check-out, they made my wife and I feel completely at home. Thank you to the Moxy Downtown staff for your outstanding hospitality and for creating such a memorable experience in the heart of Nashville. I’m already looking forward to returning—catching a live show. This is exactly the kind of place that keeps you coming back. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Moxy Downtown truly stands out and deserves to shine! The Moxy Management team absolutely crushes it—they bring the vibes, the energy, and an unforgettable atmosphere every single time! This location is under the full, competent management of the General Manager. Great boss!!!

Google
Location, location, location! Boutique hotel experience, if you prefer that over a more executive feel at the Hilton a few blocks away for the same price (which I stayed at as well, so don’t expect a massive room and a breakfast buffet at the Moxy). Room was basic and fitted with everything you need, little noisy but didn’t bother me. Restaurant on the 5th floor was good, even had an outdoor rooftop patio, which might be nice on a weekday evening before heading out on broadway. It’s a hotel in the middle of the action, so take it for what it is: you can start off with a drink at the bar downstairs, which has live music, then bounce around Broadway. Worth it! The free drink ticket on check in was a really nice gesture and fit the hotel vibe perfectly. Friendly staff.

Google
Go to place for your next trip to Nashville! Perfect location, right on the strip. Great vibe at this hotel, it is my new favorite in Nashville! The staff was amazing and very helpful in every way! The rooms are very hip ,clean, colorful, and minimalistic! I was able to score a room with a view of lower Broadway. My only regret is that I was only able to be there for one night! I will plan a longer stay next time! I can't wait to come back!!!

Google
Stayed at the Moxy in downtown Nashville and loved it! The hotel has such a fun, modern vibe, perfect mix of stylish and laid-back. The staff was super welcoming, and the check-in comes with 2 free drinks at the bar, which set the tone for a great stay. The atmosphere is lively, with lots of cool little touches throughout the lobby and rooms. Definitely recommend if you want a unique, upbeat place to stay right in the heart of Nashville. They also have fun signs :)

Google
We're coming TEXAS and Mannn, this is a great location. From staff top to bottom. The atmosphere is the best. The food and bar on the 5th is great. And the lobby turns in a night spot with the right musician. Constantly live music! Definitely, will be back!!!!

Yelp
Ended up staying the night on a return trip from Nashville. Honestly, the hotel was inviting and the main floor check in area was pretty cool. It had a retro vibe with games and the seating was perfect and private enough. Customer service was great, polite and friendly. She had answered all of my questions and being an elite member offered 2 free drinks from the bar and a 10 dollar voucher for the food. Valet is adjacent to the property and is handled by the distil hotel that adjoins the Moxy. It's 50 dollars a night. Consider your options. The rooms are clean and tidy. Very quaint, well decorated and designed to maximize space. Water pressure was good, although I was on the second floor. The shower was in the room, it does have glazed windows to prevent seeing in and an extra draw curtain. Might be a bit uncomfortable for some. But it was still private enough for me as it was just the wife and I. I would stay here again. It fits have that hostel feeling but it was inviting. A rating of 4 /5 because like anything there is always room for improvement.

Yelp
Expensive hotel for minimalist rooms but it's Moxy so it's expected... the cost is obvious being it's the closest hotel to Broadway. Literally honk Tonks / bars on either side of it. Goo Goo Clusters are RIGHT next store, make sure you check them out. The rooms are like every other Moxy I have stayed at, you pretty much get a bed, shower and toilet inside a room that looks and feels like a converted warehouse. Free Marriott upgrade means we got a window with a view of the next buildings air conditioner. Also like a typical Moxy, the lobby is where it's at. For Theis Nashville property the is a 'stage' with live concerts, a pool table, 'board games', a bar. At check-in (which is at the bar) you get two "free" drink tokens (draft beer or vodka & tonic). Valet parking is $55. The morning of check out they couldn't get to our park for 2 hours because of the Broadway gay parade. That's BS because the we paid for a service! Almost missed our flight. Rooftop bar is ok. Another bat with limited menu. Decent view. Overall you're paying for the location. The staff was nice, as are most places / staffs in town. If you most have walking distance to Broadway, this is it! Otherwise stay JUST off Broadway for better hotels.
google avatar

Yelp
The miserable customer service person at the front desk doing check ins although they had a trainee who was nice. We stay at Marriott properties in Nashville all the time, stay away from this one
google avatar

Lisa A.

Yelp
I'm a loyal Bonvoy member so I was looking forward to staying at the Moxy Nashville. The price was reasonable for our travel dates (despite the $55/night valet charge) and the location was exceptional. Bonus points for the fact that the check in desk was also the bar and you receive a free drink token upon check in! I knew from the room descriptions that they were small (some windowless) rooms, but it's Nashville so you shouldn't be in your room a lot anyway! However, I didn't realize how "bare" the room would be. No closet, no dresser, one metal folding chair, one small cafe table, and a bed. I felt like I was in a college dorm. I had to keep my clothes in my suitcase (on the floor) the entire stay. The bed - a mattress on a frame - was super low to the ground and not very comfortable. By the end of the stay I was eager to check out. The best thing about this hotel was the location - in between Kid Rock's and Lainey Wilson's at the corner of 2nd and Broadway. It was in the heart of all the fun! It's unfortunate that the actual hotel was a disappointment. Being generous, because I love Nashville, I'm giving it 3-stars. Unfortunately, this will be my one and only review of this hotel because I won't be staying there again.

Yelp
This place is perfect for proximity to Broadway. A little strange to have a room without a window but it was comfortable
google avatar

Nicole S.

Yelp
We stayed here because it was right on Music Row. Our room was rustic and small, but it was perfect for just the two of us. We were able to walk out of the hotel and enjoy the surrounding places without having to drive anywhere. At night, we sat at the bar listening to music play and people watching. A good time.
google avatar

Jay S.

Yelp
The Moxy Hotel was nice and conveniently located in the heart of all the Nashville action. I probably wouldn't stay here again unless I was with friends and planning to stay out late. The room was tiny but very modern, and the windows aren't soundproof, so it was tough to sleep with the noise from the clubs and the street. Valet is pricey, and nearby self-parking lots are almost just as expensive. The front desk doubles as the bar, so the people checking you in are also mixing your drinks--kinda weird, but the staff was very nice, friendly, and accommodating. The restaurant is on the expensive side, but the rooftop has great views of the Broadway Strip. Overall, I'd give it a 3/5.
google avatar

Katherine P.

Yelp
Centrally located! Just a block away from the action. Great service! Never a long wait to get help. I didn't know how to turn off the fake window in my room and that light bothered me the first night. But it was user error since they have a sign saying how Turn it off. I would go back thou!

Yelp
Felt as though it had a hostel feel to it, it's great location if you're wanting to stay near Broadway. It was clean and has all the basics. The rooms are small, but if you're not going to be there long then it works! We stayed one night, had we planned to stay longer I would probably not choose to stay here as there's no closet or windows. Without the window it does feel a little claustrophobic. We were hoping they could hold our things because paid for the valet and wanted to have lunch prior to going back to the airport but was unable to since they have lockers to hold the items, which all the larger ones were taken. Instead had to get the truck, put items in it and then pay for parking on Broadway, not a fan of that. The staff has a hard time acknowledging the people coming in... you 100% feel like you're interrupting them socializing with one another. But it was convenient and cute rooms for how minimal it is.
google avatar

Hannah H.

Yelp
Just alright. Great place to stay for a short trip. Giving 3 stars as the location is so convenient! Came from the west coast and landed late - passed closing of valet parking so we had to park several blocks away overnight which wasn't my first choice. 2 free drinks & a discount at the hotel guest only rooftop! The elevators smell like vomit. the rooms are tiny and there isn't storage of any sort. Our "city view" was a brick wall of a new building. It was also nice, being as close to Broadway not being able to hear the craziness! Overall wouldn't stay here again. Giving 3 stars for location.

Jarrmie S.

Yelp
Loved room and convenience! Need to have windows cleaned... couldn't even see out of them

Yelp
This new Marriott concept can't decide if it wants to be a shitty bar or an uncomfortable hotel, so it does both in one! In fairness the bed was comfortable & the room was dark & impressively quiet given the chaos going on just feet away. You check in at the bar which has live music so loud you can't hear the desk clerk/bartender... but that's ok because he's rude & dismissive anyway. The common areas smelled of vomit & sewage so it's authentic to Broadway. The rooftop bar was kinda cool & out of the way & only for hotel guests... but still smelled of sewage. The room is poorly appointed, zero amenities. Thin and few towels. Marriott is clearly trying to appeal to a younger crowd, and perhaps it's just this location, but given all the hotels around here, next time I'll stay elsewhere.

Eli N.

Yelp
The only thing this hotel has is convience to the party scene but isn't enough to equate to the arrogance felt when questioning anything at the property. It's been described perfectly in the past reviews, this is an overpriced hostel. Shame on you Marriot for putting your name on the place.
google avatar

Tommy B.

Yelp
If you are looking for a downtown Nashville hotel immediately adjacent to all of the downtown bars and music, this is your place. But do be aware that you are paying for location rather than luxury. This is truly a minimalist hotel. In the bedroom is a bed, two tiny bedside tables, a chair, a folding chair, a folding luggage rack, a few wooden hangers and pegs on the wall to hang some clothes on. The bathroom is equally spartan. Lighting is minimal in the room as well. On the plus side, the staff is very friendly and nice. If I come to Nashville again, I probably won't stay here.
google avatar

MJ D.

Yelp
Perfect location! Perfect room for a single person who doesn't mind living out of their suitcase on a flooding card table Single person because any Bd using the bathroom at night who turns on the light wakes the other up. I simply can't understand who came up with the "bright" idea to put windows in bathrooms to flood the room with light and wake other occupants. Other than your luggage and a bathroom vanity they isn't anywhere to store anything. Hundreds of dollars a night for less than expected. Immaculate clean. Marriott has to send someone to this property to fix what they can.

Yelp
Simply, the best service I received from a hotel staff. When I checked in the GM, I was welcomed with a smile and drink tokens (Moxy's Standard Greeting). The Moxy footprint is geared towards Gen X & Y patrons, but this Baby Boomer enjoys the chain. The rooms are comfortable with Ikea themed furniture. Noise level is very low for a peaceful night sleep. This was my first time visiting Nashville, but it won't be my last. I will always stay at the Moxy!
google avatar

CJ J.

Yelp
Marriott's Moxy Hotels are generally reconverted older buildings so rooms are small. But you have everything you need. Design is hip, modern minimalistic -wall hooks with hangers instead of closet, no dresser, small bedside tables with a little storage. I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay or if you want to work or relax in your room. But for a couple of nights it's fine. Bed is comfortable & bathroom nice. Ask for extra towels when you check in. This location is walkable to downtown Nashville attractions-only 5 blocks from the Ryman. Didn't eat at restaurant but lobby bar wasn't able to make a martini I!

Shannon M.

Yelp
Very nice hotel and great staff. Great location right in the heart of country music bars. The only issue was my room had a constant water running sound like the pipe for all the used water for the hotel it seemed ran through my room. They also had construction going on in the building next to me and at night the hotel was either haunted or the guys were sanding all night long and it felt like they were in my room. Even if haunted it was a nice spot. Little pricey for room size but great location.
google avatar

Veronica M.

Yelp
I came here just for the lobby bar and did not stay here. The place is a bit trashy if you ask me so I don't know if I would want to stay here. It's perfect for bachelorette/bachelor parties to stay right downtown where all the trashy things happen. They have live music and it's an ok place to just seat and change the scene from the broadway norm. They have an acoustic set/solo and they also have a rooftop restaurant. Bathrooms were not in the best shape that night and they don't let anybody not staying with the hotel past a certain time. A security guy locks the doors and you need to show proof of staying there. Overall it's an ok place.

Yelp
Great location. - Steps from Everything. Looking forward to a few days of having fun!

Yelp
Depending on your bartender you will have a good visit or just a visit. Some flat out just don't talk or care which is sad being this is not only a bar but a hotel. Drinks are expensive and you can find a much better deal On Broadway or at other hotels. Sad to see this bar going downhill- especially when hotels need the business and support the most. If your Staff does not even want your hotel to succeed then you have a major issue at hand.

Christine Z.

Yelp
Such a cool little hotel! Friendly staff and live music. Love it! Kudos to Jake at the check in desk for making our night go smooth after the hiccup of our check in being delayed. Above and beyond with a smile!!!
google avatar

Maria L.

Yelp
Location is great - literally steps to Honky Tonk and in front of Johnny Cash Museum. It is very loud inside the hotel. Check-in is in the bar and really hard to hear the bartender/front desk because there is a live singer almost all day and night just a few steps from the bar. When calling the front desk for service/ question, same issue - they'll say it's hard to hear - and can be frustrating. Not sure if they can't really hear or just not willing to help... I have a Bonvoy Ambassador status and when we arrived at 6pm on a Saturday night, we were at first made to feel that a room isn't available or seemed our room was not ready right away so they gave us 2 tokens for a free drink while waiting. The King Room is a good size for a boutique hotel: a foldable table and chair are hanging on multiple pegs next to the TV. No cabinets or shelves. Seems like a party hotel great for crashing for a night; elevator reeked of alcohol and pot. If you want a calm, relaxing, zen atmosphere in the lobby, this might not be for you. Maybe it's a Tennessee thing but know that in the midst of rising covid numbers, wearing masks is not strictly enforced in and out of the hotel. We also didn't see a lot of cleaning or disinfecting in the lobby when we watched football. Uber from the airport is $20.

Yelp
We checked in and right back out in a again. The good stuff First. Location is ideal and right in the middle of the wonderful crazy of Nashville party scene . Lobby is open concept as usual and relaxed The not so good . I called twice before arriving to change a detail on our reservation and was told it was confirms both times and it was not, upon arrival neither phone conversations were delightful nor was our experience at the front desk. Next up , I understand being relaxed but it's still hospitality and a hotel . We were greeted with "what's up? " at check in. 2 people came through the front door and right by the front desk (it's close together) and not a single greeting . Seems border line rude to us and we travel a great deal. Being frequent Marriot guests (titanium and gold elite members) we have grown to expect great quality from Marriot brand but when We got to the room.... it was no better than any youth hostile with a double bed (they said it was Queen ( I didn't bring a tape measure to challenge that ) lol It was a hot NO from us and we immediately checked back out and went to the Marriot noelle tribute, what a difference to have a professional greeting and customer service.

Yelp
I really feel like this hotel put so much money and effort into the common areas and lobby that by the time they got to the rooms, there was no money left. So I knew going into this that the rooms were small and that there was limited counter space but geesh, it's tight. It's very clean though. Extremely clean. The reason for 3 stars is for the cheap toilet seat. Before I sat down, I had to reposition the freaking toilet seat each time because it moves side to side. It's gross that if you move slightly, your butt is no longer fully on the toilet seat but touching the toilet part underneath. Seriously, this is a quick fix. By the end of the trip, I was squatting to avoid the toilet seat drama. This got on my nerves. Live music every single night was a plus. Gym was nice but smelled like a basement, they could use some humidifiers. They also didn't have sanitizing spray for the machines. Super bonus: location location. It's steps away from Honky Tonk and you can literally stumble right into your room after a night out. I personally, would choose a more upscale hotel when in Nashville like the W & The JW. It's a no for me to return here. Edit: Ice & water machine near check in. There is an ironing board room which is weird but they do have a handheld steamer in the rooms.

Laurie S.

Yelp
Great location. But ... no refrigerator or coffee maker in room. Also room is very dark and no closet. Nice bar and great location.

Art W.

Yelp
The location of this hotel is prime. It's right in the good bar district. We went to Ole Red ( Blake Sheltons) which is right across the street and Laney Wilson's right next door. Rooms were adequate but minimal, service was excellent. The in Hotel restaurant and bar was nice with decent food and tremendous selection of alcohol especially bourbons I like. Negative is parking. Late night especially on weekends is very difficult. You have to valet and they may have room for 2 cars. So plan around that.

Teresa ..

Yelp
The staff were great! Very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and had a nice view! Hotel is in the heart of the music scene! LOVED IT!!
google avatar

Brenda K.

Yelp
We enjoyed our stay. The room was fairly small, but we were only staying 2 nights so it worked. The big tv was nice. The best part of this hotel is LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! If you want to be in the heart of the action, stay here. Literally amazing bars, restaurants and museums next door or across the street. And everything else is within a comfortable walking distance.
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
Small boutique hotel. Great location to most everything! Staff was very, very helpful and friendly. They really went out of their way to get us what we needed! Rooms are very basic and a bit small but very clean and adequate for just staying a night or two. A couple of tips: it's much quieter on the back side, so if that's a need make sure you ask. Second, the work space in the room is a portable table and chair, so just be aware. Overall, I'd recommend and stay again!
google avatar

Mitchie B.

Yelp
Location! Location! Location! This place provided the convenience to Broadway! We enjoyed our stay and loved having access to all the fun down broadway. Johnny Cash museum was right across the street and after a long day, our rooftop was the perfect last stop. We will be back!
google avatar

Miss Pye P.

Yelp
Loved this hotel! Great location, right across from the Johnny Cash museum and right next store from Kid Rock's bar. Luke Bryan's bar is across the street. Staff was super nice, they let us do a super early check-in with no additional charge, room is decorated nicely, clean, has a bar downstairs with live music starting at 3 pm, and they give you a free drink for each guest. Restaurant with outside deck on the 5th floor, games and nice sitting area in the lobby. Only downfall is no refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, or closet. However, they do have a coffee maker for guests in the lobby and a wall with hooks and hangers for your clothes. Valet parking is $35 a day. I will be staying here every time I come to Nashville.

Yelp
This is terrible. I'm not sure whose grand idea this was at Marriott but it was poorly conceived and they should be fired. There may be someone who finds this cute and quirky but I can't figure out who. You check in at a bar. They give you a token for a drink, you'd need many to get through this. The lobby is just a junky compilation of stuff- everywhere. Then you get to your room. 200 square feet, no windows , just a brick wall, it's dark even when you turn on all the lights. There are folding tables and chairs hanging on pegs on the wall. A tiny bathroom. The room has an odd stench, like a barn. My room sounded like the toilet was running but it seems to be coming from upstairs. There are no closets, just pegs to hang your clothes. Oh - down the hall, there is an "ironing room". A community room that you have to go to in order to iron your clothes. Some man was in there in his boxers ironing. I can't make this up. This is a bad idea all the way around.

Yelp
First off let me say, FIVE STARS for location, and location only. When I do come back to Nashville i will (unfortunately) stay here again because it is a 2 min walk to all of our favorite spots (FGL house, Kid Rocks, Johnny Cash Saloon, Luke Bryan and Jason Aldeans) but other than that, the hotel was less than adequate. FIrst off, all the pictures we saw on the website when we booked showed windows, we got to a long hallway at the end of the floor and we were in a box, with no windows at all anywhere on the floor let alone the room. It felt very prison-esque. Our air was broke as well, so the room was uncomfortably stuffy, with no air circulation at all. Along with having no windows, there is also no closet, no dressers, or anywhere to actually "unpack" so plan on living out of your suitcase. There is also no ice machine, no refrigerator, no safe or anywhere to put valuables, it's basically a bed, and a shower. The bathroom was nice and spacious, we unfortunately did not use it because even during Covid when things should be cleaned more than thorough, our shower still had a big dried on spot of soap/shampoo/crud where the last person showered and nobody bothered to clean it out ( see picture) along with that, there should absolutely not be shared bottles of shampoo/conditioner but thats what there is, full bottles of it, not individual or travel size, the thought of sharing bottles from someone else especially during covid was less than appealing. There is also no room service during covid, so when requesting more pillows so we could nap, they ended up not coming for over two hours so we had left the room long before we got what we needed. The parking garage is also 3 blocks from the hotel, so you must park at 15 minute parking in front of the hotel and unpack while several homeless people try to grab your bags and harass you for a tip, then drive to the parking deck and walk back. Parking is 10.00 a day and you must prepay with your phone/computer. Overall this is a PRIME location for getting to and from where we needed to with ease, but the rooms/service/etc were very subpar to say the least.

Bibi D.

Yelp
As a longtime Titanium member of Marriott, I'm comfortable saying stay anywhere else but here in Nashville. There is no apparent management or staff training in hospitality or customer experience. You feel like you're interrupting their frat meeting when you try to check in/out or have a question. When they do acknowledge you the answers are abrupt and unhelpful. Rooms are austere- 2 small towels, no coffee, no shampoo (it's hair and body, impossible to rinse). TV reception terrible - not wired for enough bandwidth at end of hallway. half of the rooms are against the honky tonk next door and pounds the walls. P.S Nashville itself was wonderful and one of the friendliest places to visit - just not here!
google avatar

Veronica P.

Yelp
I was unsure about this hotel.... It's small but it's located right in the middle of all the fun! You can walk out and be in the middle of all the fun bars and clubs within minutes. Not to mention that their own little bar where you check in has a great drinks and always a live person playing music with is great... areas to hang out and a pool table... yes the rooms are small and lack a bit but who cares, you spend most of your time out of your room... your in NASHVILLE, go explore.

Yelp
Hell hole. Payed over $500 for a closet size room. Called about broken toilet seat, not fixed and dangerous. Halls patched and very tacky. Only good thing is location but rooms very noisy from street noise. Glad I am only staying one night. Look elsewhere! I have never given a review like this before.

Yelp
On our final morning we were woken at 6.30am by very loud drilling and hammering which went on for a full hour. We raised it twice with the man on reception who said there was no manager on duty so there was nothing he could do. He didn't even apologise. When I checked out and spoke to another staff member who told 5 other people had already also complained that morning about the drilling but I should contact the manager, as he wasn't on site. Later, I spoke to the duty manager who claimed he knew nothing about it (he confirmed they do not log customer complaints) but offered me just $50 which I said really didn't compensate for not getting a night's sleep, but he said it was all he could do, so I emailed the general manager Brendan explaining my concerns. After much chasing I got a very brief, blunt email (he didn't even bother to address me or sign off his email): "Sorry, the hotel had a quick fix in the restaurant on the 5th floor that we weren't completely aware about what going to happen and at what time. The restaurant is a separate business so that is why it took a little time to figure out where it was coming from. I saw the rate was adjusted and $50 was taken off and that is all we can do." Having chased Brendan to discuss my concerns, he hasn't responded, so I escalated it twice to Marriott Customer Care, but each time they said the hotel claims they've already dealt with it. In terms of the hotel, great location, clean, but very basic room and very very noisy til 3am - which is understandable given the location, but not when they then start drilling through the wall at 6.30am. A couple of staff are very friendly, but most seem very unhappy - there are definitely serious service issues here.

Yelp
You are paying ONLY for the location. The room is so stuffy and HOT. It wouldn't go down past 77 even with the AC and fan on high. When we told the staff their response was "oh ya it gets tricky sometimes." The wait to get up or down by elevator is ridiculous. The staff and bartenders downstairs are so rude, the make snarky jokes and laugh to each other while making drinks. I asked for my AAA discount while we were there and was told NO, I should've done that while booking online. I told them I booked over the phone, they said well it to late. One lady was kind and helpful, the others were all so rude. Friends we went with witnessed a man get robbed outside the hotels ATM and the security told them there is nothing he can do about it. That it happens all the time.

Yelp
I hated it. It's just shady. Not like shady like a criminal, more like shady that this hotel cuts corners at well, nearly every corner. Just so you know before booking: You can't really control the room temperature. It has some sort of lock on it so you can only move it a few degrees. There's no closet. There's no fridge. There's no desk. There's no real privacy in the bathroom. It's a hostel with a game room downstairs. Hard to sleep, hard to stay in. And it's priced like a four star. Go somewhere else and wait for this place to realize a room with basic amenities is more important than an old pool table in the lobby.

Yelp
Smallest Hotel I've ever stayed at- with largest price tag! Very very small room. No table , one chair. You're paying for the location, but very poor amenities. I had NO hot water in the shower but there was hot water in the bathroom sink. For this money, I should have been able to bath. The lobby was nice with a pool table and live music. The staff seemed nice and helpful. We had one beer, one mixed drink and one shot at the bar and it was 28.50. very overpriced!!! I wouldn't stay here again.

Yelp
This was my first time staying a Moxy. Overall I it was a great experience. The total vibe was very cool. The check in counter is part of the bar, shuffleboard, large Connect Four and Jenga. Upon arrival they give you a token for a free drink. The rooms are small which is expected but comfortable. The chic look and experience makes up for the lack of space. Also, great location to cool restaurants and shops. Staff was very attentive throughout my stay. I used the well equipped gym which overlooked the lobby. This was would have been a 5 star review other than I was put directly next to my boss upon check-in. Although we checked in together, I would think the etiquette is not to put two people next to earth other unless requested. I'll be backs!

Yelp
This is a tough review. The hotel was an experience. The staff weren't super nice when I came in. The parking is valet only and $40. Ok. The room I was upgraded to is a handicap room. It is extremely tiny. There were blemishes in the walls as well. In addition, the room is extremely bright. The doors have windows to the hallway and one thin shade that does nothing all night. Very bright. All night. In addition, the place is LOUD. I can hear everyone and everything. I jolted awake by something being dropped or I have no idea. There is loud live music, a bar, and fun games to play downstairs. If you are a business traveler, or couple traveler I'd suggest to look elsewhere. If you are going for a good time, to be with tons of new people or you're going with a group of friends, then sure. The location you cannot beat. If you want to be downtown and in the same area as broadway, then go ahead. My suggestion would be to not plan to spend a lot of time in your room.

Yelp
Extremely disappointed with our stay this time. We had fruit flies all over our bathroom and complained. The only thing they could provide for our inconvenience were fruit fly traps which led me to believe that this is a common occurrence. My wife could hardly sleep on Saturday night due to the fruit flies. We won't be traveling back to this hotel ever again. Sadly they wouldn't even comp us for the room. This is the second time we stay at this hotel but never again.

Yelp
Stayed at the brand new Moxy Hotel in Nashville for 2 nights. I believe they opened 7 days prior to me arriving. The location is perfect if you are trying to experience Downtown Nashville / Broadway. You are just steps away from all the bars! Plenty of restaurants around the hotel as well. Such a convenient location. The staff is amazing. They are so helpful and attentive. My favorite part - the welcome drink when you check in. It is absolutely delicious!! Lobby - super cute modern design. Plenty of seats / chairs to lounge, relax, or even get some work done. They have a full bar as well! And they have snacks (gold fish / skittles).they also have a water station. PERFECT to have since the bars are just a few steps away... you will need to hydrate!!! I also think they're planning on putting a guitar in every room? So cool! You can tell every detail put into this whole hotel was very well thought out. Also, some of their rooms do not have a window - so keep that in mind when booking your room. I cannot wait to come back to Nashville and stay here. Thank you Matt and the rest of your team for such a memorable stay!!

Yelp
Great hotel in the middle of the best music city. Friendly staff is very attentive to every need. Tyler and Kelsie behind the front desk/bar are two of the amazing staff that made my stay beyond enjoyable. The warm welcome I received when checking in was unlike any other hotel experience. I was given recommendations on parking that saved me a few hundred dollars during my stay and was also guided to the best restaurants and attractions. I had reservations to stay at another location for part of this trip that I eventually canceled so I could extend at the Moxy. I recently took a position that allows me to be in Nashville monthly over the next year and Moxy Downtown will be my home away from home.

Yelp
Can't say enough amazing things about this place! From the staff to the location it is wonderful. Centrally located right behind Kid Rocks just off Broadway it's the perfect spot to stay. There's live music by the bar, delicious drinks and they also offer food on the rooftop til 1am on the weekends. The manager Andrew is so friendly and helpful. The bartender Vince is amazing at his craft. They all do such a great job making you feel welcome and helped us find some great spots to go. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Yelp
I have visited Nashville 12 times and this was by far the best hotel I've stayed at. The location is great, being right off of Broadway was so convenient. You can not hear the sounds of Broadway while in your room, which was something I was concerned about prior to arriving. The room was super clean, it had everything we needed for the stay. Some of the bar/check in staff were wonderful! Others looked as if you were bothering them or were annoyed for interrupting the use of their cell phone. Can't expect everyone to be super friendly but would expect them not to act that way. It didn't bother me but could see why it would be a problem for others. I look forward to my next trip to Nashville and staying at The Moxy again!
