A vibrant but aging hotel. The rooms are tired; mine smelled of cigarettes, despite the fact that it's a non-smoking hotel. There are some design issues, such as the service containers in the shower, which are located very high (too high). No (anymore?) restaurant, even though their website still offers full menus. A shame. Basic breakfast, and thank you for the birds that eat out of our hands. Friendly and cheerful staff. Unsurprisingly good value for money.

Convenient location right off the highway - cool castle nearby. Gas station with a car wash next door. Good staff, room was good but the AC/venting sucked. Shower head was not good, but the bathroom was clean. Bed was big.

My dad and I stayed here on our trip to Europe in June. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Especially Pedro! We had to wake up early on our departure day to catch a train to Geneva. When our car cancelled on us he called us a car immediately. We ended up making our train with only minutes to spare. Thank you so much again to Pedro for your kind hospitality and helpfulness!

I did like my stay, room was good shape and top clean, nice bathroom and shower, check-in and -out was quick and easy, staff friendly and helpful. there was both AC and a Ventilator in the room.|The Hotel is in about 20min walking distance of the Railway Station, bus stops are in 1-5 min walking distance but bus service is not too frequent in Sion. If you bring your bicycle and want to ride up to the Dixence Dam (30km one-way, spectacular views) the ascent starts only some 100m from the hotel, so the location is perfect for that. And you can park your bike in a lockable space in the garage. I checked the rates both on the hotel website and the agents like expedia and they were almost the same, so my policy is always to book directly on the hotel website, which is how you make a friendly relationship.

If you're trying to save money to get a 2 in 1 sauna and bedroom, this is the place for you! 😊 I had the misfortune of being dragged into this establishment in summer. And throughout the 2 nights confined in these forsaken walls, I was sweating like a prostitute in church. It got so bad that mid shower, I started drinking cold water straight from the tap to feel some sort of hope or life again. The facility was lackluster at best, there was no fridge or kettle. The replacement for a wardrobe is a sad display of steel drilled to the wall, giving less rustic and more "unfinished construction project" to the overall interior. The fun and interesting decor of the hotel is nothing but a facade to hide the underwhelming display of its promises. The staff seemed pretty hostile aswell. This might be due to culture differences but some of the staff's tone and delivery of services makes me feel more like I'm in a hostage situation than a guest asking if I can get breakfast yet or not. And during the 30 minutes of trying to stomach cold sausages and underbaked pastries, the staff proceeded to go, IN THEIR WORDS "If you don't have your tour leader for the next day's breakfast, then no breakfast." Like what a great way to talk to guests amd I right? Really just saying that we're gonna starve like orphans in Oliver Twist because our guide is just trying to get a few extra minutes of shut eye! 🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶 If yoy hate yourself, this would be your dream place.

No air conditioning so keep that in mind if visiting in the summer. (fan provided) Typical Moxy so thats good or bad depending if you are OK with them, OK for a night. Directly on the bus line if you do't have a car.

Not recommending.. I am a gold member and they don’t even pretend offer anything. I was here just for the stopping for the sleep so I don’t really care. Charged coffee without telling me they are charge. No coffee or tea in the room. Compared to the other Moxy branches this place was not cheap at all. No umbrellas which other European Moxy provided. That was ok but their attitude of service was rude. When I ask for the umbrella, they don’t seemed to care and whatever attitude. I wouldn’t come back this place and not recommend at all

I'm trying to think of something nice to say about this hotel, but...I can't think of much. The rooms are very small, there is no air conditioning, the bed is hard--need I say more? Worst Marriott property I ever visited, and I have literally stayed in hundreds over the years.||Really, no air conditioning so you have to open the window to get air (and listen to the bar downstairs all night).||Awful. Find another place!
