Recommended museum for those interested in industrial heritage. Very well managed and well explained. We were glad to have stopped by and visited this olive oil factory. The people who were in charge were really nice and knowledgeable.

A fantastic museum to visit. You get a real feel for what life in the olive oil factory was like. A great renovation that connects brilliantly with it's past. Well worth a visit.

Wonderfully presented and explained olive oil processing, vivid description of the life and work in 19th century Lemnos. The building restoration itself was admirable. Pity that some other grand old houses in the village look neglected. Highly recommended.

The museum is unique, the history behind it is interesting, and the curator is a very nice person, with a perfect English, happy to have you as a guest.

If you have never seen an olive press museum, this is a nice one to experience. Very instructive audio guide. Be careful! It is closed on Mondays. Also, you may ask for olive oil taste in the museum bar. The one we have tasted was a little bit oxidized. Maybe yours will be better.

Interesting museum about the production of olive oil and the tools/machinery used for it. The museum has been opened in 2009 and offers audioguides in different languages (German, English, French and Greek). Present also a giftshop where you can buy locally produced olive oil (different types available). Not sure if it is the best olive oil museum on Lesbos (it's the only one I visited) but it is definitely worth it to visit.

Beautifully renovated old olive oil factory! Very informative guide explaining the whole process. There are also some items and poems from the famous Greek poet, Elytis whose family owned the factory. Open until late, definitely worth a visit!
