Mozart Café is a lovely spot with a great selection of cakes. The Apfelstrudel is my favorite—perfectly flaky and full of flavor. You can tell they take their desserts seriously. The café also has a really nice decor, with a cozy and elegant vibe that makes it a great place to relax. The staff is friendly, though service can be a bit slow when it’s busy. Overall, it’s a solid place for a coffee and cake break.

Very nice cakes. Coffee also good. A little bit expensive I would say.

Great service as we were welcomed at the door… The setting was very traditional, the cake selection was unique and coffee very well done. I can only recommend!

AMAZING espresso macchiato! The place felt very old though, including the China and the way we were served. Server was nice in front of us but we heard him make fun of us “tourists” as he was walking away.

The cakes are just so sweet, which make them not enjoyable. The carrot cake didn't have all ingredients as the original receipt. The coffee was over roasted. The personal working behind the bar was not wearing any mask. I could report it to the Gesundheitsamt, but i prefer to leave a 0 star review. Definitely not worth to spend your money and time here.

Coffee is over roasted. Tried the original cheese cake but it is really too sweet for me. Chocolate cake is too dry inside. Atmosphere is good with crowd at the afternoon. I would say the cake is okay but not very recommended if you are looking for a cup of coffee with quality.

Had a selection of three german deserts: mozart cake, apple strüdel (baked fresh), and Kranz Cake with 3 americanos. The cakes were good but the strüdel was the best out of the three. Would definitely reccomend

Yelp
I have been coming here since I was a young adult living in Frankfurt. ;) That is over 30 years ago!! Every time I come back home, I make it a point to come to the Cafe Mozart at least once. Old world ambiance (some say dated, I say vintage). The staff is friendly, as long as you have manners. I often see tourists (not profiling, but locals are just different) who are just rude, and the staff claps back. The cakes!! They always have a large variety of cakes, and I always have a hard time picking one. If you are more people, I suggest ordering different ones and sharing until you find your favorite. Don't forget to get a side of Schlagsahne, you won't regret it! The coffee is yummy, and served on cute porcelain with coffee cups, no mugs. I love sitting outside, and even during January, we were able to sit outside. Inside gets pretty full during the lunch hour, as they also serve food. I have never eaten a regular meal here, so I cannot review anything but cake & coffee :). The Cafe is on a small side street off of the Hauptwache. Parking is very limited, I suggest taking the train.

Yelp
Please disregard the complaints about water- this is because they don't understand they way things work in Germany. Germany does not drink tap water, only bottled, they will only serve you bottled water. It is the way it works- that is their custom. Either still or with gas. Gas water is kept cold, as is soda. Still water is warm. An FYI- if you want Diet Coke it is called light, diet means Coke Zero. We had a wonderful meal with great waitstaff. Schnitzel & pork sausage, potatoes, all served with a green sauce made in house and only found at this restaurant. The sauce is a delight to the senses. It is fresh, herby, citrusy. So very yummy on everything. They do not rush you, they want you to savor your food and relax. Which we did. I am going to miss this restaurant. I wish we had one in America!
