MPT Shipra Residency, Ujjain

I recently stayed at MPT Shipra Residency in Ujjain, and my experience was truly wonderful. The hotel offers a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, with clean and well-maintained rooms that made my stay very pleasant. The staff was courteous, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. The service was excellent, and every detail was taken care of with great professionalism. The location is also convenient, making it easy to explore the city and visit nearby attractions. Overall, I had a great stay and would highly recommend MPT Shipra Residency to anyone visiting Ujjain

In contrast to the hotel dump, the MPT Temple View Omkareshwar; MPT Ujjaini was a delightful surprise; spacious rooms, clean linens, nice bathrooms, helpful staff, and delicious food, though a bit pricey. ||The hotel's location is also good, about a kilometer from Ujjain railway station and around 3 kilometers from Mahakaleshwar temple. ||Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would suggest this property to anyone traveling to Ujjain.

Hotel Shipra Residency, Ujjain Check-in: 26th Dec 2025 | Check-out: 28th Dec 2025 Extremely disappointing stay. The hotel is poorly maintained and feels neglected, almost unsettling due to poor lighting and lack of cleanliness. Corridors had room service and laundry items lying around, creating an unhygienic atmosphere. The room was in deplorable condition with severe wall seepage, peeling paint, damp patches, and a strong musty odor. Windows and bed were broken, the wardrobe was dirty, and the bathroom lacked basic hygiene and sanitation. Overall, the room felt unfit for occupancy and showed complete disregard for guest comfort and safety. Immediate renovation and maintenance are required. Rating: 1/5 (only because zero isn’t an option)

We had a fantastic stay at MPT Shipra , Ujjain.The food was also very good and very tasty.The breakfast which was included in our stay was also very good and had a lot of variety to choose from. You would wonder as to why I have given it only 2 stars and say it is very nice. The most negative part started at the end,when we ordered a car to go to our next destination Ujjain after a five nights stay here.The taxi driver was there with the car before six in the morning,as we had told them that we wanted to leave at six to avoid indore traffic.All through out the drive the driver was very fast ,and mainly he kept speaking on his mobile with one hand and driving with one hand ,all the time fixing some nor the other deal on the phone,as to take this person from this place leave her here and take so much money.He kept getting orders and he went on passing them to others, obviously with his commission. When we spoke to the person on the reception of mpt Shipra,we told them that we would like to have breakfast on the way ,since we have to take our Blood pressure tablets and would like to do darshan of navgrah temple on the way to omkareshwar they said absolutely no problem the car is yours the whole day no worries. This was not conveyed to the driver but he agreed immediately as soon as we said so.The problem was that he had a pickup from Omkareshwar at 10.30,so this guy kept rushing.Why were we told that the car is yours for the entire day ,to do as you choose and nothing conveyed to the driver.And the most scary part was his driving,you cannot put our lives at risk and continue to do business on the phone and have a pick up fixed and drive at high speed. Please don't book vehicles from the desk at MPT Shipra.It is good for stay and the food

Wonderful staff, very cooperative and always ready to help. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The restaurant food is extremely good, and the staff there deserves special appreciation for their service. The only drawback is the bedroom comfort – the mattresses are quite old and not at all suitable for a comfortable sleep. Similarly, the air conditioners also feel outdated and need an upgrade. Other than that, this property is truly one of the best for a relaxing stay.

I had a wonderful stay at MPT Shipra Residency with family from 11th to 12th September. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the staff were extremely courteous and attentive throughout my stay. The room was neat, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment. I also appreciated the quality of food and prompt service at the restaurant. The location of the hotel is very convenient, making it easy to move around. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable experience, and I would be happy to stay here again on my next visit.

One of the worst hotels Don't ever come here Even after discussing everything before on phone they won't provide you room on the given time and start talking about work load Very rude staff you will sense it while you talk to them. The restaurant service is so slow that you will feel to leave the food straightaway, the service person will ask you order all at once only , if you order again while eating they will start arguments. The bathrooms the fittings inside is the worst part... Bahut he ghatiya system paani ka aap pareshan ho jaogey. It's running under the goverment so you expect how it will be. Checkin

We stayed at MPT Shipra in September 2025. Overall, it was a very good experience. The staff was polite and helpful, and the location is convenient—just about 3 km from the Mahakaleshwar temple. The food, especially the breakfast, was excellent. The rooms may not be like those in popular hotel chains, but they were clean, spacious, and definitely worth it for the price. A comfortable and value-for-money stay!
