An ok cafe that seems to have focused more on plating up meals and lovely interiors than it has food quality, flavours or staff training. FOOD: The home made granola described as crunchy/toasted, arrived mostly soggy and the flavours weren't good. The yoghurt was more of a dash in the bowl...definitely less than a mouthful or so all up. Despite the photo which suggests it was so much nicer than it was. The other meals we had there weren't much better. They were all plated up very well with excellent presentation - however none of us ate much of them - as the taste and texture was off for most. STAFF: A mixed bunch, one possibly female staff member with short dark brown hair was exceptionally bright, efficient and friendly - sadly I couldn't say that for all. Our meals and coffee's took some time to arrive, however we were grateful for the apology. The cafe wasn't that busy - so I am not sure why staff seemed to struggle/seem lost so much. OVERALL: Wouldn't go back. A solid ok choice though - if I needed a coffee.

Service can be slow, even though they weren’t busy. The food and coffee were solid. The cafe is fairly dim, which may or may not bother some people, as I know most prefer more naturally lit spaces. They also don’t seem accomodating with changing the menu items (printed on menu) and so if you typically like to swap/remove ingredients just keep that in mind. (Note: Weekend surcharge applies)

Unassumingly situated at the Botanical end of Dean Street this eatery offers an all day Breakfast. What's different you ask. The service was great. Friendly, professional and cheerful. Good variety of menu options and tasty. Seating options from Street, open window Street view, internal and courtyard. The other great fact was it was well priced. Thanks guys see you soon.

Loved this place, excellent experience start to finish, very polite and attentive staff that genuinely cares for their customers. It is a large place with seating in back as well. Food was fantastic and freshly made. Had Gnocchi, Bloody Mary, corn fritter with herbed Yougurt all very good. Gnocchi & hot chocolate were delicious & absolutely recommended!!!

Driving back to Sydney from Melbourne we wanted to break up the drive with brunch. A couple of google searches we found Mr Benedict’s. Was it worth the try? Yes. Was it worthy of writing a review, obviously. All three of our dishes hit the spot with no regrets, actually best brunch I’ve had in a long time. Other reviews are correct you may have to wait for a table because of its popularity. We were lucky with no wait time at all. Staff friendly, could not fault anything at all.

Absolute delight. Excellent menu and flavours. Vibe with a bit of charm. Ask for extra hot coffee it comes warm. We had the corn fritters, fried chicken waffle, French toast and gnocchi. All were absolute home runs.

We dropped into Mr Benedict on our way through to Melbourne. The food was delicious especially the waffles (which were gluten free) for me! Staff were friendly and helpful. We would certainly go back again.

The place is called "Mr. Benedict". With that name, you cannot go past the Eggs Benedict on the menu. One word describes the Eggs Benedict: SUPERB (The coffee is really good here too!) A fantastic meal, and well worth the short wait to get a table to eat here.

Yelp
We visited on a Friday morning, before the rush, and were quickly seated in the courtyard out back. The back area has a relaxed and peaceful vibe. Our group included myself, hubby and our 3 year old daughter. The atmosphere was inviting, warm and very family friendly. The service was fast and welcoming. Though dining as a family it was an environment equally suited to a brunch with the girls, date or casual business meeting. The menu is full of your usual brunch items with creative and delicious twists. Their take on chicken and waffles was AMAZING. Every element perfectly complimented each other. The waffle was dense but filling and tasty, the coleslaw light and fresh and the popcorn chicken seasoned and cooked to perfection. A+ in terms of originality and deliciousness. My husband went with the B Man's Brekkie - think upmarket big brekkie but with a wonderful kick it flavour. Highlight of the plate was the corn fritter - if hungry this plate is for you but if not the fritters alone with sate your hunger. If you're a coffee snob you won't be disappointed. Our cappuccinos were faultless. I also loved the Vietnamese cold brew - it gave me a nice taste of nostalgia. Perfect for those missing shores abroad. Overall a tasty and fun meal served in a casual and friendly environment. I'd recommend Mr Benedict to any and all.

Yelp
Went to this place based on the yelp reviews and I must say we're not a bit disappointed! The locations is nice and the coffee and food is delicious! The eggs Benedict come in all variations. It would have been good if they also came in standard?! May be they were and we just didn't see them through all the other options. Would recommend this to anyone who is in Albury!

Yelp
It would have been 5 stars but they forgot about our drinks twice. Quite a big place. I sat out in the courtyard which is pleasant enough with fans to circulate the air. The coffee was excellent as was the eggs Benedict. The menu has a lot of choices and i would definitely go back.

Yelp
An excellent choice for breakfast in Albury. There was a mixture of locals and interstate travellers. Best scrambled eggs this side of the Murray, sides of avo, bacon, herby mushrooms and the cheesy toast can be added to any meal. I can't recommend the almond milk latte, otherwise would be 5 stars. The staff are super friendly!

Yelp
One of the better options in Albury. Decent coffee, not latte art grade but pretty good. Food is nice, Eggs Benedict and French Toast. Enjoyed the Bloody Lightweight (Virgin Mary). Good music playing when we were visiting. Indoor and outdoor seating. Can get busy inside and a bit noisy. Staff are nice and friendly (important).

Yelp
This cafe has a barrister called Courtney and she makes the best lattes and coffee in all of albury/wodonga , she also has a big smile. + my wife raves on about the steak sandwich.
