Loved my experience here we did the $79 lunch deal it was absolutely spectacular!!!!! You get 4 cocktails you start off with a antipasto platter then 3 sets of different scewers then 4 dishes for main was unbelievable value. Also the customer service was excellent!! Lovely atmosphere we really enjoyed our experience i highly recommen this place for lunch and do the mr brightside lunch it will not dissapoint we left so satisfied definitely will be back 🙌

He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, topping up drinks promptly, ensuring our table was always clear, and checking in at just the right moments. He managed to be attentive without ever interrupting our conversation, which is a rare and appreciated skill. He also demonstrated impressive knowledge of the menu and drink list. His recommendations were spot-on, and the way he described the cocktails and dishes made it clear he takes pride in the venue and its offerings. Every suggestion we tried was delicious, and his guidance definitely enhanced our evening. Even during the busiest parts of the night, Eli stayed composed, professional, and approachable. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about the guest experience, and that kind of service transforms a good night out into a great one. From the moment I was seated, Eli made me feel welcome with a warm greeting and a genuine smile. What stood out most was Eli’s attentiveness without ever being intrusive. He checked in at just the right moments to ensure everything was perfect, topping up drinks promptly and noticing even the smallest details — such as replacing cutlery before I had to ask and anticipating when we might need extra condiments. His timing was impeccable, and it was clear he takes pride in creating a smooth, enjoyable dining experience. Eli carried himself with a calm and professional demeanor throughout the service. His knowledge of the menu, wine pairings, and specials was impressive, and he answered every question with confidence. Even during busy moments in the restaurant, he maintained a high standard of service, never rushing interactions and always ensuring we felt looked after. It’s rare to encounter service where you feel genuinely cared for rather than simply attended to, and Eli delivered exactly that. Headed here with girl mate for catch up session and the bar did not disappoint. Visit website for deals for booking, at this time we visited (can be subject to change hence why put please visit website) we were able to enjoy $55 meal and two cocktails - we were sooo impressed with sticking to our budget, the food was delicious and drinks went down a treat...... When ended up blowing the budget to have few more delicious cocktails. It was good vibe, lovely staff... Even the new recruit did well too keep up and check in on everyone.

Nice rooftop bar in the center of Christchurch. The drink selection is good with many nice spirits on the menu but of course also cocktails and wines. It can get busy here but that isn’t a surprise at this location and with this nice view.

Popped in once for cocktails and loved them so much we had to come back for a second time. Outstanding service from Martin who really knew his stuff and made us feel very welcome. If you love good and refined drinks this is the place for you! We had all sorts of drinks both on menu and off and they were all beautiful, well explained and this enhanced our experience ten fold. Wow, wish Mr Brightside was our local bar, you are lucky if you are based in Christchurch.

Martin & Iris 10/10 for service!! They went above and beyond! We came for the Mr Brightside lunch and trust me it did not disappoint! Strong cocktails and the best spread of food! Would highly recommend! We’ll be back! 🫶🏻
