Do Brisbane’s beekeepers hold the key to saving the world’s bees? - SilverKris
"A sleek Fortitude Valley wine bar that pairs refined small plates with artisan honey products; its charcuterie offerings include a standout pairing of local honeycomb from urban rooftop beekeepers with rich blue cheese, using the sweetness and texture of comb to elevate cheese and cured-meat selections." - Holly Robertson
i love coming here on a night out, the place is so aesthetic and feels so cozy. i had the lasanga and a few glasses of shiraz. the guy behind the bar is lovely and so friendly. definitely a great spot for a night out with friends 🍷

Embarrassing! $52 for this platter, very disappointing.
The quality of the food was very poor. The mortadella was disgusting, I really don’t understand how you can serve a platter like that. Bad quality and horrible presentation, it looked like leftover from another table! Even for free it’s not worth it

An excellent place!!!! After an issue with the first food we ordered, the staff were so gracious and quick to ensure we were taking care of.
A lovely venue with friendly staff and a great knowledge of wine and regions.
10/10! Would come back!

I’m here to appreciate how good Jack is. Top service from the restaurant, extremely smooth and courteous. Would definitely come back again!
Although I do think the margherita was a little bit dry (more sauce and cheese needed). Apart from that excellent!

Lovely atmosphere on a casual Friday night after work! Had an antipasti with some delicious meats, cheese and bread and the service was very attentive and a cosy atmosphere!
Very lucky this is close to our apartment and can’t wait to make this a local 🧀

I’ve worked in hospitality for 11 years (still am), and there just aren’t enough stars for Jack’s pure, heartfelt hospitality. Atmosphere and Professionalism 100/100. Will definitely be back with friends.

Loved dining at Mr Chester on a casual Friday night. We shared the olives with goats cheese and crackers to start and shared the Diavola pizza with a side of asparagus and pancetta. So delicious. Pizza was perfect. Special thanks to Dan and Eli for their friendly service and help with the wines. Highly recommend the beaujolais/gamay. You can also purchase wines to take home. Will certainly be back. Only $138 for two, which included three glasses of and a beer in addition to the food mentioned above. Steal!
