Mr Chester Wine Bar & Bistro

The food is truly great. I'm not the biggest fan of italian food, but the food is nice and light. Not overly cheesy, or heavy but rather nice and light. I highly recommend the arancini balls. The service is so great. To the guy with the cool hat and the moustache, thank you for looking after us 🥰

Great venue, nice atmosphere. We had truffle arancini and pasta, all were delicious. The staff were great, attentive and friendly. The only thing was that we found the drinks were quite expensive.

We had hugely disappointing experience. Apart from the waiter who was polite and friendly, the food was poor and way over priced. A $32 pizza was the size of a bread and butter plate with hardly any toppings and extremely disappointing,. an antipasto platter ( dinner plate ) and two small pieces of Turkish bread. For the privlledge of this after leaving the restaurant we were overcharged. I wouldn’t go again or recommend to anyone

Nice wine bar with a cute atmosphere and a great selection of cocktails and wines. However, there were a few disappointing moments during our visit. One of the wine glasses was chipped, which unfortunately cut my lip. Additionally, the male attendant’s attitude made our group feel a bit uncomfortable — we were initially told to sit anywhere that wasn’t reserved, but when choosing a larger table (as we had others joining) which wasn’t reserved, we were abruptly told we should have made a booking. Later, after ordering a cocktail, we were informed that the venue prefers guests to order wine as it’s “easier time-wise,” which felt unnecessarily dismissive for a bar that also serves cocktails. Overall, it’s a lovely spot with potential, but a little more care with service and attention to detail would make the experience much more enjoyable

Lovely atmosphere on a casual Friday night after work! Had an antipasti with some delicious meats, cheese and bread and the service was very attentive and a cosy atmosphere! Very lucky this is close to our apartment and can’t wait to make this a local 🧀

I’m here to appreciate how good Jack is. Top service from the restaurant, extremely smooth and courteous. Would definitely come back again! Although I do think the margherita was a little bit dry (more sauce and cheese needed). Apart from that excellent!

An excellent place!!!! After an issue with the first food we ordered, the staff were so gracious and quick to ensure we were taking care of. A lovely venue with friendly staff and a great knowledge of wine and regions. 10/10! Would come back!
