Fuck Off

Google
I will begin by saying that I am an average 50 y/o, married, American, male. Stereotypes aside, I thought this place was amazing! We arrived for cocktails around 8 and stayed until 11. Each cocktail was crafted to perfection and served in a whimsical way to make each menu item an event rather than just a drink. The atmosphere was just as whimsical as the cocktails themed off of Mr. Fogg’s house from Verne’s Around The World In 80 Days, complete with the balloon. Each table was set up for cozy conversation. The music slowly crescendoed as the night progressed and the local filled. Finally, our server, Andrea was very attentive, helpful, and friendly. She definitely added to the experience in a superb way.

Google
went for the murder mystery and it was brilliant! Have been before and love it. The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff so friendly and helpful. Cocktails, both alcoholic or non alcoholic are fab! The event was £60 per person with 2 cocktails included.

Fun cocktail bar with eclectic decor themed after Around the World in 80 Days. We had awesome drinks and great, friendly service with Andreia. If you are in Mayfair for drinks, definitely a spot to check out!

As a London tourist who is a fan of both Jules Verne and unique cocktails, I thought I had found a perfect destination! Terrific menu with a wide selection of cocktails, including a high-end "Attic" menu featuring rare bottles. Ordered the Peat Dreams which is a tremendous Scotch cocktail with a perfect mix of smoke and fruit, partner ordered the Elskling which was light and delicious. I was debating what next: another Peat Dreams or the Old Fashioned Adventurer, or a Gilded Nightcap, or all of the above. The staff made my decision for me, in a manner of speaking, as they took my drink menu away and they never returned. After a long break I got the hint that I was perhaps not welcome there. Perhaps my clothes were too relaxed and touristy (jeans, collared shirt) after a long day of walking and exploring the city. Not something I typically encounter back home, but I recognize I'm a visitor. I found the staff in the corner, quickly settled my bill, and left with both a good and bad taste in my mouth. Sadly my journey around the various Fogg locations would end at the very first stop! Great potential here.

Had a great couple of hours on Saturday evening. Friendly staff, great service from Ioannis, tasty and innovative drinks and super cosy atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

The most perfect place for the perfect Cocktails!!! 🍸🤩🤍 we didn’t eat, we just went to show our Miami friends a taste of Britain and they loved it! Vicenzo (guy in the background 🎩) looked after us wonderfully! Can’t wait to go back and try all Mr Foggs different settings 🫶🏼

Google
This is a fabulous little hidden gem, I cannot recommend it enough. The drinks are unique and fabulous! We had a terrific server, Naz. She recommended drinks based on each person's preferences and they were perfect fits! She also went out of her way to make the presentations of our last round picture perfect! The Lust in the Sheets and Peet Dreams were 2 of the best, most unique drinks ever! The prices aren't cheap, but the atmosphere makes them a true bargain. You won't be disappointed. Mr. Fogg's Residence made our last night in London unforgettable!

Google
We’re a frequent guest at Mr Foggs undoubtedly the best cocktails in town! But one reason we come to Mr Fogg’s Residence is Freya! The BEST host in town, Freya looked after us very well at the Control Room and unmistakably also at Mr Fogg’s Residence! Thank you for a lovely evening

Yelp
SO unbelievably special. I've been to a lot of cocktail bars but this one is truly one-of-a-kind. Fanciful concept and execution here blew me away the night when we decided to wander in impromptu after a dinner in the area. From the very first "Salutations" from the host, I was hooked. All the detail in the establishment is really something. From the intoxicating, indescribable woodsy smell to the hot-air balloon in the corner tied to the ceiling. Immediately started googling and reading up on Jules Verne while we waiting for our cocktails as this place certainly set the mood. Every cocktail we had was expertly executed and tasted amazing. You simply cannot go wrong here. They do classic cocktails, ones with a twist...you name your taste/spirit, they will definitely have something for you. I can't believe this was my first time experiencing Mr. Fogg's but let's just say, I cannot wait to return to London one day and try the rest the collection of bars.

Yelp
SO MANY RULES!! Mr Fogg's was a fascinating place to visit once we got past the annoying rigamarole of pre-booking, charged credit cards, staff attitudes and assigned seating. You're only allowed to stay for an allotted time and if you're a no-show, they'll charge your credit card GBP10 per person. You're not allowed to sit at the Bar even if no one is there. And no one showed up to sit there during our precious hour of permitted time. The interior felt like a jam packed Victorian explorer's home, if he had had red "mood lighting". The cocktails were inventive but quite expensive. The wines by the glass were fine. The bathrooms had gorgeous wallpaper and the "Around the World in 80 Days" soundtrack playing on endless loops. Mr Fogg's was quite hard to find as it was not on Bruton Pl as one might assume from the address. We had to ask the doorman at Hakkasan (#17 Bruton St) how to find it. He kindly told us that that Mr Fogg's was located in a nondescript back alleyway behind his restaurant. I guess the random "hidden" location was meant to make guests feel like they were explorers too! lol

Yelp
This place is one of a kind! The speakeasy vibe was different from the rest with bar tops filled with items like it was an actual pawn shop. The drinks were FANTASTIC, both on and off menu drinks. The snacks were yummy as well. But what truly made the experience spectacular was the bar staff. The bartenders, Diogo and Antonio, alongside their wonderful manager Pepe were excellent at their craft. They were whimsical and put on a show for everyone at the bar. As someone from out of town, traveling alone, they made me feel like I fit right in to the cultural of the restaurant and the city. I highly recommend visiting if you're in the area, or visiting the area just to go to this establishment!

Yelp
Lives up to its reputation as a London classic. Maximalist interiors, innovative cocktails and quirky ambience. The magician was a surprise but not unwelcome - he had a trick for each person in our party and we were suitably impressed. I had two of the perfect timings and others in the group had a variety of bubble, tequila and whisky concoctions. Docked a star for the nibbles list being abysmal. On an already short list, only the olives and mixed nuts were available. Cost of living crisis or no, stock your kitchen! Would have enjoyed at least another round if I had more food to line my stomach with!

Yelp
Awesome place, great vibe, good drinks, beautiful, CHOKED ON THE AIR THE AROMA WAS SO PUNGENT EVERYONE WAS COUGHING! It was like they stuffed the air vents with incense. Other than that it was nice. A bit overpriced but literally could not breathe

Yelp
This was such a gem to find. I went here with my fiancé on a Tuesday I believe and wow was it packed! The doorman was so lovely and managed to get the Maitre'd to find us a spot at the bar. This place was just breathtaking inside, service was SO friendly and the drinks were out of this world delicious.

Yelp
I had been here before for cocktails, as it's close to my fave hotel in London, but this was the first time I've been to their Tipsy Tea, and I loved it! I happen to be a tea fanatic, but not all of my friends share my enthusiasm, so this was a perfect alternative to a traditional afternoon tea. You still get the delicious finger sandwiches, scones and desserts, but instead of a pot of tea, you get to choose from a variety of tea-infused cocktails, served in a teapot. To keep them cold, the "lid" of the teapot is formed with ice. Rather brilliant, I thought. Also adding to the fun, we were there on a Sunday, so we got to enjoy background music from a live jazzy pianist, and a wandering magician. All in all, a fun Sunday afternoon. Reservations are needed, so book in advance! Cheers!

Yelp
Mr. Fogg's Residence. What a place.. Mr. Fogg's is a cocktail bar located all around London with different themes varying from household items, to botanical plants, all the way to a simple gin parlour! My friend & I made are way to Mr. Fogg's Residence, a classy bar located in the heart of Mayfair. This was a place where we could see items "Mr. Fogg" collected from around the world. This was styled to look like it was active in 1873, and it was truly an astounding experience! Mr. Fogg has drinks named after--and relating to--specific memories he's had with people, as well as captured moments he's had in certain places (every one of his drinks has a story behind it, and they include the most interesting descriptions). He has a drink called The Whiskey Snapper, which was his "close friend Oscar Wilde's favourite mid-afternoon tipple." This comes with Glenfiddich 15 Scotch Whiskey, lemon juice, raspberry jam, honey syrup, as well as soda water. What an interesting man! The intricacy of this place was astounding and I am so glad I got to experience one of his hidden treasures before heading back home. I ordered The Ran Tan which "was named after the relentless pounding of the waters of the Iguazu Falls upon the unyielding rocks below, robbing [him] of a much-needed night's sleep. Damn The Ran Tan!" This came with Patrón Silver Tequila, pear purée, lime juice, agave, egg white, and fresh sage So cool!

Yelp
Food/Drink: If you like sweeter drinks I recommend the white seashell drink which was served in a white seashell along with small vegetables that are extremely salty. The waiter said to chew on one as you drink the cocktail but I wasn't sure what that did to the taste. The cocktail itself is suitable for those who like sweeter tastes since it's a mix of lavender and honey! Price: drinks here are on the pricier end. The average cocktail costs £15-17. Although depending on what you get it could be very strong and worth the money. Atmosphere: the space was inspired by "80 days around the world" so there were a lot of knickknacks in the decor to mimick what Mr. Fogg's house would look like in London. What I enjoyed most about the theme though was the around the world drink menu where you can spin the wheel to a destination that would reveal a specialty cocktail associated. Destinations ranged from London to Singapore!

Yelp
This is a cocktail bar in Mayfair. The decor reminscent of old world charm based on a fictional character Mr. Fogg who travelled around the world in 80 days. Check out the rolodex which gives you a selection of wines and cocktails. You may have to wait for a seat because it's quite popular with locals and tourist. Three of us have a cocktail each and it was nearly 50 pounds! Always check your bill in London, service charge 12.5% may or may not included.

Yelp
When in London Town please slide into this throwback Speakeasy for some straight ahead Jazz and a truly amazing cocktail menu that is hard to match. This place is like walking into the 1940's. If I lived in London, I'd be a regular.

Yelp
There's no big neon signs outside Mr Fogg's. When you arrive, a bouncer at the door confirms you reservation and leads you in to the hostess. You can check your bags or coats before moving into the an eclectic main room filled with leather chairs, couches and small tables. The decor was crazy, with everything from snow shoes to crocodiles hanging off the walls. For drinks, you get two menus. One is a thick book with every custom cocktail, whiskey and craft gin in the house. The selection is huge. If that's too overwhelming, the 2nd menu looks more like a sundial where you can turn the flat circular dial to select one of 10-15 different cocktails, with each rotation showing a different custom beverage, it's name and ingredients. Our group tried several of these and were seriously impressed with the taste as well as the beautiful appearance of the drinks. The only thing that gives this place a 4-star for me was the service. The place is not that crowded since they strictly limit capacity, but it still took forever and a day to get our drinks. Also, we had a pretty big group and when they came by to ask if we wanted another drink, they would ask 1 or 2 people and then leave -- skipping over those who may have actually wanted another round. So a nice place, but sat for too long without a drink in my hand to leave 5 stars.

Yelp
A couple of girls and I were in town on vacation in London and we were sure to make a reservation ahead of time and we were so glad we did! This place was so fun and the drink menu was extensive. All of us had some wonderful drinks and they had a magician In house for some entertainment.

Yelp
A few weeks back I was invited to Mr Fogg's 5th-anniversary party, can you believe that it has been 5 whole years of Mr Fogg's gracing us with their innovative cocktails and theatrics? I was super excited to attend as I have not been to their Mayfair branch yet, and I absolutely love their gin parlour in Covent Garden. One of the reasons why I enjoy going to Mr Fogg's is the dramatics of the bar. It is full of historic trinkets and artefacts from the Victorian explorer. From a stuffed parrot to a hot air balloon, if the mouth quenching cocktails do not entice you, the décor of the restaurant will. I arrived at the anniversary party, just after 7 pm as I was running late from work. When I arrived, the celebrations were already in full swing with live entertainment playing at the front of the bar. Mr Fogg's were offering liberations of Hendricks Gin, however, I was still supporting my commitment to dry January, so I would have to try a non-alcoholic drink. I could literally cry my eyes out because the drink choices sounded like just what I needed after a long day of work. However, I made an oath to go 31 days without alcohol and I was sticking to it. Therefore, I chose the temperate liberations, a choice of refreshing non-alcoholic cocktails. There were two choices; Berry Straight & Narrow and Red Herring. My favourite had to be Red Herring, which is a mixture of rhubarb with apple juice, fresh lime juice, rose water, agave syrup and citrus foam. From the first sip, the citrus foam graced my mouth, tasting and tangy but refreshing taste, all it needed was a little shot of gin. The second non-alcoholic drink was the Berry straight & Narrow, which was made from raspberry and blackberry puree, cranberry juice, fresh lime juice, topped with ginger ale. I also loved this mocktail but was a little on the sweeter side. This was the first time, during my dry January period that I actually enjoyed a mocktail, as the mocktails at Mr Fogg's are so imaginative.

Yelp
Mr. Fogg's is certainly an experience. You're transported to a different world... Mr. Fogg's world, actually. And you'll spend a buttload on fantastic drinks. Really, it was the most I've ever spent for a cocktail, around 15 quid (that's the first time I've ever spelled quid... ha!), but they're very well thought out, and very exotic. My favorite drink was spicy ruby. It came in a really cool glass that had a pointy bottom so it was sitting within a small bowl with ice. It was ever so spicy, ever so sweet, delicious, and quite strong, so it was best for sipping. How any expensive drink should be. It was fun, I would enjoy taking friends here if they were drink people.

Yelp
This place is super awesome... Once you get in. We made a reservation for 28/06 at 00:30, and arrived right on time - but the doormen were pretty against letting us in and insisted on helping another group that told us they did not have a reservation. They did have a girl wearing a nice sparkling dress though. So I guess if you bring an attractive person with a sparkly dress you can get in but if you're average looking and have a reservation prepare to be treated like a second class citizen.

Yelp
If you are already bored from your daily cafes and want to try something unusual and different, I suggest you check Mr. Foggs at Mayfair. This place is meant to look like the house in the novel "Around the world in 80 days". What's there to see: Animal skins, vintage flags, ancient maps and even a hot air balloon. What's great: Drinks! Oh, the drinks! What's not so great: It's partly hidden down an alleyway and somehow hard to find. When you first come in, you'll feel like you're more in a museum, rather than just in a bar. As an art lover, I've always enjoyed finding new places with appealing decor to drink my coffee (or not coffee). Of course, you'll be looking all around before ordering. This place is full of fun items, floor to ceiling. Giant shelves, stuffed animals, bottles and more. The drinks menu looks like a leather-bound tome. The cocktails are expensive, but it is understandable for a bar in this area. I went back in time with an 1840, which was tea-infused gin -- two of my favourite things. Served with Cointreau, crème and marmalade, It was strong yet lovely looking. Fun fact: The first time I came here, I walked into the bathroom, and heard a gentleman's voice reading "Around The World In 80 Days" over the loudspeaker. It was distracting, but fun to listen while you do your business. It is not just the little touches that make this place so fun. Mr. Fogg's really does a nice job taking you back in time. Maybe it's more about the great cocktails. I'm sure you'll start time travelling if you drink enough.

Yelp
They were very strict on the door when I came with my friend one night late. I had converses on and the doorman mentioned only smart shoes. A pity I trodden off even after I pleaded. Next time I came prepared. I even booked too. Though the doorman is somewhat hesistant to let people in after a few mins inside confirmed mine and guests entrance . I can see why it's in Mayfair, has a shoe code, and is often thought of as secret bar. It is strangely lovely. In the guise of Phileus Fogg. Good cocktails and good service too. Pricey but you get it with a visual experience . Smaller than I thought but there is a back room and outside too.

Yelp
This is a local secret. Firstly, you have to have reservations. We were lucky to get in because there was a cancellation. The decor is of various antiques, taxidermy and various eclectic styles and pieces. This is a great place to have an interesting cocktail. Like other places in London your drink is an experience and the menu is a book of creative cocktails. Was fun!

Yelp
Mr Fogg's has definitely become my favourite cocktail bar in London. Upon arrival, I quickly gathered the feeling of a speakeasy -- located on an alley by itself, no signage, etc. When I entered, I was immediately mesmerised by the theme and decorations -- the creativity and attention to detail in constructing this room of Mr Fogg's were impressive. Then, I was further blown away by the drinks. I had two rum-based drinks, both of which were phenomenal. We also ordered a "tea" set, which came in a complete tea setup but was not, of course, real tea but alcohol. It was the most delightful alcoholic drink I had ever had. Finally, service was good -- partly because one of my friends knew one of the staff members, who was prompt in finding us a table and bringing us our orders. Having said that, it seemed like the place was overall run quite smoothly, being served by skilled bartenders and well-dressed servers alike. Overall, definitely worth a visit. Note, though, it IS quite pricey!

Yelp
Such a fun spot to hang out in. Cocktails are great and service is incredible. Definitely coming back whenever I'm in London.

Yelp
Mr. Foggs has a fun & quirky vibe that is worth the visit! Upon arrival, the street seems quite hidden & sketchy, and the storefront does not show much of what is inside. You ring the doorbell, and a well-dressed doorman will answer. My 3 friends and I made a reservation beforehand (advice: make a reservation! It gets quite busy in there) and we were seated around a cute little coffee table, each of us on ornate couches. We shared a Shinway-sey cocktail for 4 people. It was truly delicious! Advice: 1. You must be 21 to enter! Since its a cocktail bar, the typical 18+ restrictions are raised to 21+. However, I am 20 & my friend who made the reservation was told on the phone that 20 year olds accompanied by 21 year olds would be fine. 2. A regular reservation is NOT the same as a Tipsy Tea reservation! My friends & I were not aware of this, and will be going back for Tipsy Tea eventually.

Yelp
Speakeasy meets saloon parlor... Enter the fascinating world of Fogg's, a bar on a side street in Mayfair and gaze with giddy childlike wonder. That is how it feels when you walk through the door of this stylish yet fantastical lounge bar. It is essential to book in advance as most spaces are small tables and velvet banquettes sprawled around what is an extravagant and distorted library. Old bicycles hang from the ceiling, swags of cloth like a big air balloon, globes and atlases... all of it delights. The drinks menu is a book of creative cocktails which do deserve the time to be looked over as there are many interesting concoctions. There is a doorman to check you in outside who was polite and charming. Table service was very good, we didn't have to wait long for drinks to arrive and our waiter checked in on us regularly. Most importantly the innovative drinks were outstanding. Definitely want to go back. Fun and fabulous!
google avatar

Jurgen D.

Yelp
So this place is a lot of fun!!! Have visited a few times now and the staff do a great job of remembering return customers. By the doorman's own admission if you are a group of just guys you probably aren't getting in...which is well wrong but has worked out well for me so far. Basically a speak easy gin bar, this well fashioned place serves up some great cocktails..it just takes them a while to do it. With some complimentary snacks that are a bit odd (roast potatoes and gravy??? as a bar snack?) For a late night drink during the week its been a great option when in the city. JUst not sure I would seek it out as a place to go specifically!

Yelp
Opted for this place for the taller half's birthday since she appreciates a good cocktail and Alex S's review told me this'd be right up her alley. I sent an e-mail to make a reservation and received no response; when I called the same day to confirm, no reservation had been in place, and they sounded rather concerned about the fact. Not a great first impression, but they assured us all would be fine, and penned us in for 8pm. Walking down Burton lane past a couple run-down blocks of flats was a bit of a disjoint, but the housefront that awaited us was glowing with warmth, and made us feel seriously bad for the bouncer waiting outside. Maybe I should knit the poor bastard a hat? Inside, we were greeted with a chipper smile. Our coats were taken and we were offered our choice of seats--and really, there was plenty to choose from. Mondays are apparently their slowest night. At one point, we were one of only two couples there; at most, there were four couples and a group of three. This could have been awkward, but our Brazilian waiter took lovely care of us and brought the girlfriend a birthday drink on the house, which was a sweet touch. The cocktail menu is extensive and fun, and our waiter was very familiar with everything, and checked at the bar with the couple of specific liquor-related questions we had without a fuss. Drinks were well-balanced and well-presented. Nibbles included some sort of rice cracker/mini pretzel mix, where I would have preferred to see good-quality nuts at this sort of establishment. The sandwiches looked interesting (but we were way too full from dinner to try them). The seating options are along the lines of "the smoking parlour of that really rich old uncle you wished you had," comfortable and unfussy. The music was pleasantly maintained at a background level, the lighting was muted rather than cave of darkness, and the various stuffed critters were great fun to look at. That being said, this place is definitely a splurge: four drinks (not including the freebie, of course) set me back £75. Even knowing that I'd be in for about that amount, ouch, even for London. Great place for a special treat, though, or to impress a date, if your date is into stuffed alligators and all things faux-Victoriana.

Yelp
Cool place! Excellent vibe and attitude and the decorations are soooo cool! Drinks are not amazing but they are good enough for one just to experience the atmosphere. Not a destination for superb cocktails but instead a destination for atmosphere with drinks that are simply good.

Yelp
Loved this place! I was here on a recent visit to London and wanted to check out one of the Mr. Fogg's locations. Disclosure: I'm a huge fan of victorian London, steampunk, and whimsy and this place had all three. There is a Jules Verne "Around The World In 80 Days" vibe here. The drink menu is a fun read in and of itself. I had the Nocciole Night Train. It was very good. As an amateur mixologist myself, I'm on the picky side when it comes to my cocktails. I loved this place, the service, cocktails, and vibe were all good. The doorman was really nice also.
google avatar

Matt C.

Yelp
One of my favorite bars in London for sure. The drinks are well-crafted, balanced, and delicious. The decor is on-point for the theme (Around The World in 80 Days). Staff is very friendly. Will definitely be coming back here on my future trips back to London!

Yelp
Expensive but amazing cocktails. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The baristas know their stuff and craft state of the art drinks. Make sure to make a reservation or else its unlikely that you will get a seat. We came on a weekday and it was fully booked. Thank God someone cancelled so we got seated. The highlight is definitely the decor. It makes you feel like you travelled back in time. If you could only go to one bar in London during your visit, this is the one.

Yelp
"Little nips of whisky, little drops of gin, Make a lady wonder where on earth she's been" - Anon. Maybe that would explain the quirkiness of the place, with its impressive number of alligators, butterflies and atonomical posters. Or maybe it was there all along, together with excellent (if a bit steep-priced) cocktails and top-knotch staff... I'm afraid you'll have to visit to see for yourself which on it is. https://cakeandwhisky.wordpress.com/2015/06/02/vii-hills-gin-tasting

Yelp
I made a reservation for 2 for drinks a while before being in London. It's hard to get in without one. We arrived and were seated at the corner of the couch in the center without any back support. It was quite uncomfortable so we asked if we could move. There were several empty tables on the side. They said those were specifically reserved. There was a 4 to next to us which had the ability to sit properly along the couch. We were told that too was taken by a larger group. To our dismay that table never filled up and there were only 2 people there eventually. This was annoying. We weren't checked on frequently. I had to flag someone down to ask for another drink. The drinks are excellent mind you. They give crackers as snacks. We ordered some sandwiches. The tandoori was good. The mozzarella was pathetic. Mainly just bread. It was a fun place to grab a drink in the past. But too much hassle to get in and even you do make a reservation you may get a poor seat.

Yelp
I was lucky enough to be invited to an evening with Levison Wood (of Walking The Nile fame) at Mr Foggs last night, and what an amazing adventure, the bar suited the evening perfectly. Mr Foggs is tucked away in the depths of Mayfair (behind Berkeley Square) and its more than worth digging this place out of google maps for a visit. The location is excellent at creating an experience...we were greeted with a dapper gentlemen in a full trench coat that kindly escorted us in and upon walking through the door we were thrown into exploration mode. Animal skins, vintage flags, ancient maps and even a hot air balloon find a place across the expansive cocktail lounge. Plenty of beautifully made chairs and tables provide more than enough seating areas to mull over the expansive cocktail list. The drinks menu and bar is very impressive, some excellent wines, beers and ciders but the almost endless cocktails on offer deserve multiple visits. Split by spirit, the list contains all the old classics but some amazing new twists including a punchy but exciting tequila and watermelon / lime long glass. A few of these and you'll be calling yourself Phileas... Outside of the drinks, the menu also includes some nibbles and bar snacks to delay the healthy measures rendering your legs useless. Mixed nuts, olives and also a pricey but beautiful portion of caviar. Once settled, Levison took us through his incredible experience. Really showing off all that Africa has to offer, and it does look incredible. The evening was really eye-opening, watching this modern-day traveller takes us through each of his estimated 7.5 million steps, surrounded by the efforts of many of those before him. I left feeling motivated, driven and glad to find such an amazing little venue. I'd certainly recommend this place, probably close to pay-day though! And no...like hell was I walking home!...

Yelp
Drinks are amazing. Expensive but extensive. Make sure you either have a reservation, get there early and/or use your best American accent when asking the doorman for a seat at the bar. I'm sure it was because we arrived at 6:30 but I'm gonna tell myself it's because we are beautiful people. (I'm on vacation I am allowed delusion). Drink menu is 30 pages of every type and every region. If you like complicated drinks this place is Nirvana.

Yelp
A nondescript door opens into a wonderfully decorated bar with delicious drinks. I felt like I was stepping into a movie- the decor was old-fashioned and everything was perfectly on theme. The drinks were all fairly unique and my drink was served in a delicate teacup. It didn't seem too touristy to me, but that may have been because I was a tourist myself (oops). Although pricey, I think this bar is worth a try for the experience.

Yelp
Very eclectic decor and v slim waiters. Simple tables with comfortable seats. That's the boring bit over. Can they make a cocktail. We only had 30 mins so only 1 drink (weekday). "White cliff of dover" bit sweet served in a strange white bowl. And something with Kilt in the title. Which tasted like a poor man's blood and sand. The group next to us asked for more alcohol - youngish Americans but ...... not sure if i chose poorly or a they need a new mixologist.

Yelp
One of the COOLEST bars I've been to. Vibe is sick awesome. Drinks are very well crafted and thought out. The people here are the difference. What a tremendous staff. Went out of their way to make sure you were having a great time. If only I lived in the UK this would be a regular haunt for me. Seriously though, I might travel back just to get another one of these tasty drinks. yum!

Yelp
I visited Mr foggs for tips afternoon tea. The presentation, atmosphere is amazing. There was also love music that really added to the entire experience. The variety of food was very good and the day we went there was a Sri Lanka theme. All good was fleshly made. We all had different types of cocktail tea pots and they were delicious. I definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
It is as if you entered the mind of Jules Verne! Absolutely love it! Gorgeous cocktails, amazing vibe and quirky decor. Every inch of the place is thought through making it a must see in London. In the evening it gets quite busy so a reservation is a must! I will go back for tipsy tea, since it seems a great twist on regular afternoon teas. Can't wait!!

Yelp
We visited this place twice on our recent trip to London. We did not have reservations but were allowed in both times and sat at the bar. It is a fun, mellow atmosphere that makes you feel like you have transported back in time. The mixologist were friendly and very talented and helped us chose our cocktail options.

Yelp
What can you say wrong about this eclectic reservation only spot tucked on a side street in Mayfair. Pure fun, great vibe, awesome lounge spot for a proper conversation and delicious cocktails. Book it and enjoy with friends or colleagues after work.

Yelp
Dodged a Bulleit is a fantastic cocktail and the atmosphere at Mr Fogg's is wonderful! The staff are attentive and welcoming too.

Yelp
The place looks great, but the drink I had was average and overpriced. More important, the staff was inattentive and rude.

Yelp
I highly recommend reservations, I arrived around 6:30 on a Saturday without them and waited almost an hour to get in. Once inside I realized while people were willing to wait so long. It really is a cool small cocktail bar. The bartenders are friendly and good at their jobs. The cocktail list is huge and they can get quote pricey. I had 4 cocktails from different parts of the menu and they were all good. The only cocktail I didn't immensely enjoy was the invigorator, it's super sweat and milky and by the end was hard to drinks. I would definitely come back, it also seems like a great place for a date night.

Yelp
Where can you go to celebreate a milestone family birthday when you personally think you've sampled the best of London's cocktail elite? This place!! Seriously, this place. The BEST cocktail I have seen. Just ever. Full stop. The end. OK not quite the end, I have to review it as well. I booked for 4 on Saturday night (reservations were a wise choice), we donned our finery as we were going to a posh dinner afterwards and I lead my well-to-do family down a back alley in Mayfair to a shabby looking door with a smartly dressed man outside. They were less than impressed. However, my sister's mouth FELL open when he went up to the door, wrung an old fashioned bell before it was opened by a bellhop to a cave of wonderment. The place resembled a typical wood panelled drawing room/ gentleman's club (not the seedy Stringfellow kind!), with plush velvet chairs and a bar adorning one side that boasted at least 100 bottles of spirits behind it of all sizes and colours. The bellhop took our coats and led us to a lovely little corner stuffed with interesting nic-nacks. Well actually the whole place was stuffed with these - the theme in a nutshell is based on Phileus Fogg, who went 'Around the World in 80 Days' and on returning decorated this room with momentos of his trip. Trust me, this is cool! Amazing cocktails too, slightly slow service but we didn't mind because there is plenty to stare at without seeming uncouth and uncool to the regulars. 4 cocktails, £60 (yeah they're pricey) but there are so worth it. Incredibly made, beautiful tastes and you can tell that they haven't been thrown together with bargain booze alcohol, which is always nice. The draw of this place is in its mystery and the decor, but the cocktails alone would make me come back. Again and again and again

Yelp
Cocktail bars abound in this city. A bit hard to find, and a very small space inside, so definitely call ahead! The cocktail list was one of the better curated ones I've seen, and the decor was probably the highlight (many oddities on the walls and ceilings). This is a place with an interesting ambiance, where I'd bring someone for a drink to start the evening before moving on. Fortunately, not extraordinarily dark like some cocktail bars tend to be, and there's seating such that you can actually hear your neighbour.

Yelp
This place will give you a great experience but keep in mind that it's touristy and over priced. The waiters are professional and attentive with a diverse menu. I would recommend going for one drink before dinner or your night gets started as staying longer will turn into an expensive affair.

Yelp
It's a quirky place filled with museum like wonderment: bowler hat lampshades, elephant trunk chairs, parrot taxidermy, faux animal rugs. Drinks were about 12 quid. We really enjoyed the Calvados drink and the Grapefruit Vodka drink. Came here around 5:30 pm on a Saturday and didn't need reservations, but as the night went on, it became busier and busier (and posher and posher), so I would recommend calling ahead or emailing.

Yelp
Even though it's a Mayfair address, I hoped that I'd be proven wrong about concerns that it would be an overpriced and pretentious affair. I should have known better when I tried to amend my booking by adding two people to my group. I was told I could only add one. When we turned up that Saturday night, the place was barely packed, and there was clearly room for an extra seat (30 even). Considering they had just opened, I was surprised at the lack of hospitality. I loved the decor, but the overall experience is that of a failed attempt at a Punchdrunk or Secret Cinema event. The actors hired to perform characters, were actually more caricatures; the dramatics were too contrived and comical. The drinks and service are indeed what you would expect given the prestigious location, but quite frankly, for the same prices, I'd much rather return to more established haunts like the Bar Night Jar in Old Street. Short of any changes that can be classed as remarkable or unique, I do not intend to visit again.

Yelp
We were left very disappointed. When we arrived the first evening we saw the long queue and spoke with the doorman "Ben" who stated to call tomorrow morning for a reservation and he would see to it that we could get tomorrow. We did exactly as he said and when we called later that night the reservation office was closed and the couldn't do anything. We called promptly the next day in the morning and we reached the reservation office and they didn't know who Ben was. We explained he was the doorman they patronizingly told us that doormen have nothing to do with reservations. Then they stated there were no reservations until midnight and that would only be to join the queue but they closed at 1 am. All we can gather is that there is no process on how to visit this establishment.

Yelp
I'm between a 3 and a 4 on this one. However, I've decided I give 4s away too liberally, and I could only really call it a "weak 4", so a 3 will have to do. I've had two enjoyable evenings here, but nothing truly stand-out. The place is most definitely quirky. I checked my phone 3 or 4 times on my way to make sure I was going to the right spot, as I'd walked past this dark driveway hundreds of times on my way to work and had never realized it had a hidden bar. Once you're inside, it's got a ton of unique decorations. However, I have to admit that I wasn't as blown away by the atmosphere as I'd expected to be given the other reviews: it certainly still felt like a fairly typical cocktail bar rather than anything totally distinct. (I.e., it was no Sketch.) It's also not that large, and got very cramped and fairly noisy when I was there with a large group on a Saturday. As for the cocktails, I rank them as a solid "good." The menu is really fun to read and the drinks were interesting as far as I recall, but again, nothing that stuck out as a "I must have this get me more!" Prices were as I would expect for a Mayfair bar. Service was "eh" both times. They were out of a lot of the snack options on my first visit, and it was relatively hard to get the waiter's attention on my second. Would I go back if someone suggested it? Sure. It's around the corner from my office, and it was great for a date (less so for a large group). However, with all the great places to explore in London, I don't intend to go running back on my own accord.
