I have been a regular customer for the Farmer’s Lamb Shoulder for over six months, but after today, I will never return. I sent my 13-year-old son in to pick up two orders, and it seems they took advantage of his age by giving him barely 60% of the usual portion. At $48 for two plates, these meals are not cheap, and I expect the quality and quantity to match the dine-in experience.
When I drove all the way back from Oakville to address the issue, the manager was absolutely horrible. Instead of taking responsibility, she was incredibly argumentative, even trying to claim the meat "shrunk" because it was HALF an hour in the fridge!
After a long "negotiation" that started offering small portion on the side and ended offering a fresh ONE plate, JUST ONE PLATE! , it became clear that this establishment cares more about haggling than actual customer satisfaction or integrity.
No one even offered to compensate me for the four trips back and forth or the gas spent fixing their mistake, by just offering replacement of the entire order, which was fairly simple.
They have zero concept of quality control. Save your money and go somewhere that treats loyal customers with respect.
Edited: I added two photos for the actual dine-in and the takeout one I picked up yesterday, and anyone can tell the difference in size !
