Mr Jordaan Hotel

Awesome accommodations. The location is near the Anne Frank House with easy accessibility to the tram or canal cruises. The staff at Mr. Jordaan is A+. Extremely friendly and informative. Rooms were nice and clean and breakfast was great. They even gave us a bag of snacks to take when we left. You'd be crazy to stay anywhere besides Mr Jordaan. We loved it.

Mr. Jordaan is an adorable little hotel in a perfect area for exploring the city by foot. We loved the view of the canal from our room, the proximity to landmarks, and the quaintness of the neighborhood. There were many cute restaurants to choose from, and an easy walk to all the major landmarks of the city. ||The staff is friendly and accommodating. They offered great suggestions, allowed us to store our luggage since our room wasn't ready on arrival, and greeted us warmly each time we returned "home" to the hotel. The vibes in the hotel were great - with quirky features, and its own personality. ||We stayed in a canal view room, which, though small, was lovely. The bathroom/shower is definitely cramped, but well appointed. We appreciated having an elevator to get our luggage to and from our room, but used the stairs the rest of the time. ||Accommodations in all of Amsterdam were surprisingly expensive, but we definitely enjoyed our stay at Mr. Jordaan.

Highly recommend staying at this hotel. From the location, to the included amenities, to the kind staff, everything was amazing. It was easy to get around via public transit, and there’s so many good shops nearby! Staying here truly helped make this solo trip a magical and safe experience. Would love to come back!

Very nice boutique hotel. We received a free room upgrade which gave us a larger bed and beautiful view of the canals. We especially enjoyed the quiet and relaxed atmosphere of the neighborhood. Very good for couples. We will stay at this location again for our next visit to Amsterdam!

Absolutely loved our stay! The hotel was cute and spotless, with a cozy charm that made it feel like a home away from home. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming — it really made a difference. The location was perfect, right in the heart of everything we wanted to explore. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Highly recommend!

First trip to Amsterdam and first stay at Mr. Jordaan Hotel. Both proved to be excellent choices. The staff at Mr. Jordaan were outstanding in every way; gracious, friendly and supportive. The location excellent, in the heart of the Jordan neighborhood, an easy walk to just about everything we wanted to see. Of course the accommodations were great, with nice touches like good, complimentary coffee all day…afternoon pastries and a solid breakfast. Big hit personally? The fresh wine gums at the front desk. Wonderful touch! 👍🏻

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Mr. Jordaan. The location is in the lovely area of Jordaan, right in front of a beautiful canal dotted with houseboats and surrounded by gorgeous homes. Wow! There are shops, restaurants etc. all within walking distance. Our room was spotless, the lobby is bright and cheerful, and there is a coffee machine in the lobby for 24 hour coffee/tea along with small snacks. The staff is always cheerful and friendly. They held our luggage for us (all afternoon) because we arrived so early in the AM. Continental breakfast is available for an extra charge. We enjoyed it. We walked everywhere from this location (it is very close to the Anne Frank house and Van Gough Museum).

The room and bed were both very comfortable and inviting. I appreciated several thoughtful touches during my stay—for instance, the simple but effective towel system: placing used towels on the floor to indicate they need washing, while unused ones stayed neatly on the shelf. It was a small thing, but it showed attention to sustainability and guest convenience. I also liked the hotel-themed water bottles with friendly little messages encouraging guests to refill with tap water—practical and charming at the same time. At check-out, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a goodie bag with some snacks and small gifts, which felt like a warm and personal touch. The hotel’s location is also quite convenient, and I’d love to return in the future.
