Mr. Kahawa Café-Restaurant, Paje Beach

We arrived here were greeted immediately and got a table without any waiting. The food here was amazing. I had the Mr. Beef Burger which was great. My dad had the catch of the day which was white fish which he said was really delicious. My sister and my mom had the seafood curry which they said was good but it was a bit sour for them. For dessert we had their coconut ice cream and salted caramel ice cream, which was also really nice. Overall I would definitely come here when staying in Paje.

Just loved the atmosphere here- we came in the evening and I had the fish curry 🍛 Would definitely recommend! But the beef burger was by far the yummiest food at our table. I could imagine it’s a nice spot for breakfast or lunch, as there are many smoothie/smoothie bowl options. Delicious ice cream for 5k (Tanzanian) for after dinner!

We had two different poke bowls, both were quite nice, with good quality and generous portions (though a bit more sauce would have made them even better). The drinks were good, but we’ve had better ginger teas and lemonades elsewhere on the island. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the location is exceptional.

Very nice place to enjoy your holidays in Zanzibar. The stuff is Super nice, always in a good mood - you can see they have a lot of fun in the team. Food is the best here at Paje Beach - for sure. Try the Falafel-Wraps and the different Kind of coffees. It’s directly at the Beach, but you also have a really nice Pool there. Cant wait to be back here! Had dinner a couple of times during my visit to Paje. The food is good and generous. Fair prices. Sometimes they have live music which is quite nice. Service can be improved a bit but still worth the visit.

Loved everything here, from the atmosphere to the food. We got the seafood masala and the catch of the day, both really full of flavor. Everything was made better by the cutest cats hanging around.

This should be your first stop. The food was delicious. The catch of the day had a tangy sauce that was amazing. The seafood masala had octopus and was delicious. The staff was kind. Highly recommend.

When you say … Perfect! Stunning location and ambience. Girls and Guys serving with courtesy and Smile. Great food perfectly cooked and presented. On top of this we have been very lucky and tonight there was music that made everything more “Perfect”. Soon we will go back again.
